Forty years earlier on the 6th of Jaddi 1358 (Hijri Solar), the arrogant Soviet armies launched an invasion against our sacred Islamic homeland, Afghanistan.
The Soviet invasion of Afghanistan is considered one of the biggest human tragedies in modern history.
The ruthless communists began mass murder of our believing people, bombing of villages and indiscriminate destruction with an impression that they could succeed in imposing their evil system and ideology on our believing nation through the use force and brutality. Our people, however, presented unimaginable sacrifices to protect and defend their sacred values as one and half million compatriots sacrificed their lives in defense of Islam, a similar number were wounded, maimed, imprisoned or disappeared, majority of villages and towns were destroyed and our national foundations razed. But despite such calamities and the unspeakable horrors of the ruthless invaders, our believing nation was not prepared to forgo their values and accept the Soviet occupation. In the end due to the blessing of these enormous sacrifices, the Soviet invasion was repelled and they left our land in humiliation.
On this occasion marking the launch of the Soviet invasion, we remind the current invaders (Americans) and their stooges that your experiments of oppression and terror that you are perpetrating – the razing of villages, torching of homes, murder of women and children, imprisonment of believers and repetition of the experiences of Genghis, English and Soviets – have continuously failed and proven futile here.
Understand that this nation is prepared for death with honor but never a life of disgrace and persecution.
Therefore, learn lessons from past experiences and adopt the path of reason. End this unlawful occupation and leave our oppressed people to live a life of dignity and peace in accordance with their own values in their own homeland.
To end we condemn the Soviet invasion and ask the Almighty Allah (SwT) to grant all the martyrs of the Afghan Jihad Jannat-ul-Fidaus and may He (SwT) accept the hardships of all the martyrs, injured, maimed, migrants and Mujahideen – Ameen O’ Lord of the Universe.

A fourteen-member delegation of Islamic Emirate led by the Deputy of Islamic Emirate in Political Affairs, the respected Mullah Baradar Akhund, departed from Doha to Moscow.
The said delegation with partake in a conference marking 100 years of diplomatic relations between Russia and Afghanistan being held on 28th May.
Similarly, the said delegation will hold discussions about future Afghanistan with a number of Afghan politicians in an Intra-Afghan Conference scheduled for 29th May.
Moreover, the delegation of Islamic Emirate will also hold closed-door meetings with senior officials of the Russian Federation.
The delegation of Islamic Emirate includes the Deputy of Islamic Emirate in Political Affairs the respected Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, Mr. Sher Muhammad Abbas Stanekzai, Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, Sheikh-ul-Hadith Sayyed Rasool, Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Mullah Muhammad Fazal Akhund, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqqi, Mullah Abdul Latif Mansoor, Qari Deen Muhammad Hanif, Mr. Muhammad Sohail Shaheen, Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa, Mawlawi Muhammad Nabi Omari, Mullah Noorullah Noori and Mawlawi Muhammad Hassan.

On 5th of February 2019, a conference will be held about Afghanistan in the city of Moscow, Russia.
The Islamic Emirate was also invited to this conference and a ten-man delegation led by the respected Sher Muhammad Abbas Stanekzai will be participating in it.
The agenda of this conference is holding discussions about the issue of Afghanistan, declaration of policies and opening channels to reaching an understanding with non-government Afghan political groups.
The Islamic Emirate wants to appropriately utilize this opportunity to clarify its Shariah-based and ethical stance to various parties and explain its policy and mechanism about future Afghanistan vis-à-vis end of occupation, enduring peace in homeland and establishment of an intra-Afghan Islamic system of governance.

Thirty nine years ago today, the red army of the former Soviet Union launched the ruthless invasion of Afghanistan.
At the time of invasion of Afghanistan by the Red Army, the then Soviet Union had grand designs of subduing the world just as the United States harbors those dreams today.
Following the takeover of Eastern Europe, they wanted to reach South Asia and specifically the warm Indian waters via Afghanistan. But before they could reach those waters, they were engulfed by storms created by the blood of the Afghan resistance such that they even managed to lose control over the occupied central Asian states close to Moscow herself.
Today the Afghan Mujahid nation is denouncing the 39th year of invasion of the defeated Soviet Union in a state that with the blessing of their seventeen-year Jihad and resistance, the occupying American invaders are facing the exact same fate as the former Soviet Union as their military might is dissolved and they are facing humiliation on both media and political fields as well as being caught in a dilemma about staying course or abandoning the longest war in their history.
In reality that the 39th anniversary of the ruthless Soviet invasion of Afghanistan is lesson for American officials to learn a great deal from. Take heed from the Soviet defeat in Afghanistan and abandon thoughts of testing the mettle of the already proven Afghans.
The Islamic Emirate – while condemning the savagery of the Red Army perpetrated against the Afghans in the strongest of terms – praises and feels pride in the Jihad and resistance of its Muslim Mujahid nation.
And on this same occasion it advises the American invaders to adopt rational and understanding by withdrawing from Afghanistan and maintaining any future relations based on sound diplomatic and economic principles instead of testing might.
