NOTE: Below is a statement fron the Global Islamic Media Front, which is a transnational media organization that releases videos, audio, and statements from the major global jihadist groups. Below GIMF is seeking more money and using the  occasion of the Islamic new year (Rā’s al-Sannah al-Hijrīyyah), which is today, to do so. Toward the end of the statement GIMF gave instructions for how to donate money, but I decided to redact that information for obvious reasons.

All praise be to Allah, the Lord of all that exists, who has said in His Wise Book: يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُطْفِؤُواْ نُورَ اللّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَيَأْبَى اللّهُ إِلاَّ أَن يُتِمَّ نُورَهُ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ “They wish to extinguish Allah’s Light with their mouths, but Allah will not allow except that His Light should be perfected, even though the infidels hate it.” (At-Tawbah: 32)He also said: ادْعُ إِلِى سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ وَجَادِلْهُم بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُهْتَدِينَ “Invite to the Way of your Lord with wisdom and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided.” (An-Nahl: 125)And may peace and blessing be upon the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad, the son of Abdullah, who said: “Wage Jihad against the idolators with your wealth, your lives, and your words.” (Ahmed, Abu Dawud) The influence Jihadi media has had on the enemy and their agents in this vicious attack on Islam and Muslims is now clear to all, due to the efforts made in exposing the lies and plans of the enemies. Due to this, they now lay in wait of the Jihadi media with various plots and plans, gathering all their weapons in order to combat it. They have gathered huge amounts of money, as well as media and technical experts along with the latest technology to combat a foe small in number with limited resources, who rely only upon themselves after Allah for funding. However, all their efforts to have been rendered fruitless, despite the total cooperation give to them by the intelligence agencies all over the world, Arab and non-Arab. Allah foiled their plans in totality. And why not, when the basis of their work was Allah’s saying: ادْعُ إِلِى سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ وَجَادِلْهُم بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُهْتَدِينَ “Invite to the Way of your Lord with wisdom and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided.” (An-Nahl: 125)One of the first priorities of the Jihadi media was to expose the lies of the enemy, as well as to encourage the Muslim Ummah to rise and fulfill the forgotten obligation required by the most vicious Christian Crusade against Islam. Another priority was to ******** Jihadi operations, as we saw that many those which took place in the past, such as in Bosnia, Chechnya, the Afghan Jihad against the Soviets, the Christian slaughter of the Muslims in Indonesia and the events of East Turkistan, were buried and never to be seen, as Jihadi Media as we understand today was close to non-existent. Due to this fact, many enemy crimes remained hidden, as were the victories and heroic deeds of the Mujahideen. The Global Islamic Media front was one of the vanguards of the media centers which took to this responsibility, working to defend and support Islam in general and the Mujahideen in the various battlefields in specific after America and its allies declared their war against the Muslims in Afghanistan and Iraq. Thus, the enemy started to plot against us in hopes of ending this defense and support which was built upon the wails of prisoners and martyrs, in pursuit, while individuals who do not have even the provisions of one day dedicated almost all their time to join the ranks of the Mujahideen against the most vicious Christian crusade history has witnessed. On this occasion, we would like to request our Muslim brothers all over the world to financially support the advancement of Jihadi media as required by the coming times, which will be no less than previous times. We remind the Muslim masses and the Jihadi supporters in specific that if they were unable to participate in Jihad physically, they still have wealth in their position. If they were not able to send money to the battlefields, that there are still families of the martyrs, prisoners or migrants in Allah’s Path. We remind them of this great obligation which Allah has placed over them, in His saying: انْفِرُوا خِفَافاً وَثِقَالاً وَجَاهِدُوا بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنْفُسِكُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ “March forth, whether you are light (being healthy, young and wealthy) or heavy (being ill, old and poor), and strive hard with your wealth and your lives in the Cause of Allah. This is better for you, if you but knew.” (At-Tawbah: 41)Allah’s Messenger (sallallahu alaihi wa salam) said: “Wage Jihad against the idolators with your wealth, your lives, and your words.” (Ahmed, Abu Dawud) Imam As-Shawkani in Nail al-Awtar (8/29) said: “In this verse is a proof for the obligation of waging Jihad against the infidels with one’s wealth, one’s hands, and one’s tongue. The Quran has commanded that one make Jihad with one’s body and wealth in various places, and it is apparent that this command is an obligation.” Sheikh-ul-Islam ibn Taimiyyah said: “Whoever is unable to make Jihad with their bodies and is able to make Jihad with their wealth, it becomes an obligation. It is an obligation for those who are not in a tight situation to spend in Allah’s Cause. Thus, it is an obligation to make Jihad with one’s wealth if it is required if there is any excess, even women and children, just like Zakaah. As for when the enemy attacks, there is no room for difference, as defending the religion, lives, and inviolabilities of the Muslims from their harm is an obligation by Ijmaa’.” It is now well known that Jihadi media is in the forefront of the battle with the forces of global infidelity. This is a fact attested to by many analysts, even the enemy themselves. As the enemy’s media which they use to misguide the masses and distort the facts is one of their most important tools in their war against Islam, the Jihadi media which reveals the truth and conveys the true realities of the current situation of the Muslims is also one of the main weapons we have in our Jihad against the enemies of Islam. We fight them with weapons as they fight us with weapons, and we fight them through the media and they fight us through the media. We both have our good and bad days, but our Lord and Protector is Allah, while they have none. Thus, we emphasize that the Jihadi Media is no less important that Jihad on the battlefield. Today, the news and victories of the Mujahideen from all over the world reaches you, from Somalia, Chechnya, Afghanistan, Iraq, Turkistan, Palestine and other Muslim lands, all by Allah’s Grace, and then the efforts of the brothers who have dedicated all their time and effort to convey the news of the Mujahideen to you, all with limited resources. With the approach of Muharram, we remind our brothers of the obligation to spend in Allah’s Cause to support the Jihadi media. The Mujahideen in many areas, especially Afghanistan, Somalia are at the doorsteps of victory. Come to the defense and support O slaves of Allah! Allah Most High has said, “لا يَسْتَوِي الْقَاعِدُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ غَيْرُ أُولِي الضَّرَرِ وَالْمُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ فَضَّلَ اللَّهُ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ عَلَى الْقَاعِدِينَ دَرَجَةً وَكُلّاً وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الْحُسْنَى وَفَضَّلَ اللَّهُ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ عَلَى الْقَاعِدِينَ أَجْراً عَظِيما ً” “Not equal are those of the believers who sit (at home), except those who are disabled (by injury or are blind or lame), and those who strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives. Allah has preferred in grades those who strive hard and fight with their wealth and their lives above those who sit (at home). Unto each, Allah has promised good (Paradise), but Allah has preferred those who strive hard and fight, above those who sit (at home) by a huge reward.” (Al-Nisa: 95)Allah also said: الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَهَاجَرُوا وَجَاهَدُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ أَعْظَمُ دَرَجَةً عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْفَائِزُونَ “Those who believed (in the Oneness of Allah – Islamic Monotheism) and emigrated and strove hard and fought in Allah’s Cause with their wealth and their lives are far higher in degree with Allah. They are the successful.” (At-Tawbah:20)Allah also said: وَمَا لَكُمْ أَلَّا تُنْفِقُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَلِلَّهِ مِيرَاثُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ لَا يَسْتَوِي مِنْكُمْ مَنْ أَنْفَقَ مِنْ قَبْلِ الْفَتْحِ وَقَاتَلَ أُولَئِكَ أَعْظَمُ دَرَجَةً مِنَ الَّذِينَ أَنْفَقُوا مِنْ بَعْدُ وَقَاتَلُوا وَكُلًّا وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الْحُسْنَى وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ (10) مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يُقْرِضُ اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا فَيُضَاعِفَهُ لَهُ وَلَهُ أَجْرٌ كَرِيمٌ “And what is the matter with you that you spend not in the Cause of Allah? And to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. Not equal among you are those who spent and fought before the conquering (of Makkah, with those among you who did so later). Such are higher in degree than those who spent and fought afterwards. But to all Allah has promised the best (reward). And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.” (Al-Hadeed:11)On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him:nAllah’s Messenger (sallallahu alaihi wa salam) said, “No person awakens in the morning except that two angels descend upon him. One of them says, ‘O Allah replace those who spend,” and the other says “O Allah, do away with that what the misers do not spend.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) Also, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him: Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said, “Charity does not reduce one’s wealth.” In regards to the verse: {وَأَنْفِقُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَلاَ تُلْقُوا بِأَيْدِيكُمْ إِلَى التَّهْلُكَةِ} “And spend in the Cause of Allah (i.e. Jihad of all kinds) and do not throw yourselves into destruction (by not spending your wealth in the Cause of Allah), and do good. Truly, Allah loves Al-Muhsinun (the good-doers).” (Al-Baqarah: 195)Hudhaifah, said, “It was revealed in regards to charity.” (Al-Bukhari) The truly happy are those prefer the Hereafter to this life, and the successful are those who have a share in bringing victory to this religion. Allah says: وَأَنْفِقُوا مِنْ مَا رَزَقْنَاكُمْ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَا أَخَّرْتَنِي إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُنْ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ (10) وَلَنْ يُؤَخِّرَ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهَا وَاللَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ (11) ) سورة المنافقون “And spend (in charity) of that with which We have provided you before death comes to one of you, and he says: “My Lord! If only You would give me respite for a little while (i.e. return to the worldly life), then I should give Sadaqah (i.e. Zakat ) of my wealth, and be among the righteous [i.e. perform Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) and other good deeds]. And Allah grants respite to none when his appointed time (death) comes. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.” (Al-Munafiqoon: 10-11)He also says: هَا أَنْتُمْ هَؤُلَاءِ تُدْعَوْنَ لِتُنْفِقُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَمِنْكُمْ مَنْ يَبْخَلُ وَمَنْ يَبْخَلْ فَإِنَّمَا يَبْخَلُ عَنْ نَفْسِهِ وَاللَّهُ الْغَنِيُّ وَأَنْتُمُ الْفُقَرَاءُ وَإِنْ تَتَوَلَّوْا يَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُونُوا أَمْثَالَكُمْ “Behold! You are those who are called to spend in the Cause of Allah, yet among you are some who are niggardly. And whoever is niggardly, it is only at the expense of his ownself. But Allah is Rich (Free of all needs), and you (mankind) are poor. And if you turn away (from Islam and the obedience to Allah), He will exchange you for some other people and they will not be your likes.” (Muhammad: 38)On the authority of Abdullah b. Masood, may Allah be please with him, who said that the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa salam) be upon him said: “Who amongst you loves the wealth of his inheritors to his own?” They said, “All of us prefer our own.” He said, “His money is what he gives, and the money of his inheritors is that which he does not.” So take the initiative my brother Muslim and be from the helpers and supporters of Allah’s Cause. Take part in this blessed Jihad. Give a loan to He who when He gives, he does so freely, and who awards with increase. Spend your money and enter a trade with Allah, and be certain of profits, for none lose in a trade with the Most Merciful. Allah says: إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَتْلُونَ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَنْفَقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً يَرْجُونَ تِجَارَةً لَنْ تَبُورَ. لِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ أُجُورَهُمْ وَيَزِيدَهُمْ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ إِنَّهُ غَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ “Verily, those who recite the Book of Allah (this Qur’an), and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and spend (in charity) out of what We have provided for them, secretly and openly, they hope for a (sure) trade-gain that will never perish. That He may pay them their wages in full, and give them (even) more, out of His Grace. Verily He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Ready to appreciate (good deeds and to recompense).” (Al-Fatir: 29-30)Be from those who race to Paradise and embrace the beautiful hoors. If you give from your wealth graciously, be certain of a good reward from Allah. Does Allah award goodness with other than goodness? Allah says: وَسَارِعُوا إِلَى مَغْفِرَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ أُعِدَّتْ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ (133) الَّذِينَ يُنْفِقُونَ فِي السَّرَّاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ وَالْكَاظِمِينَ الْغَيْظَ وَالْعَافِينَ عَنِ النَّاسِ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ (134))آل عمران.

“And
