There are a number of reasons why Tunisians joined the Islamic State in Iraq, Syria, and Libya. One underappreciated aspect of this is the way Ansar al-Sharia in Tunisia’s (AST) messaging primed members of the group and others in society that were exposed to, attended, or followed online AST activities and events. In my new book, Your Sons Are At Your Service: Tunisia’s Missionaries of Jihad, I describe this process, which I will examine in brief here. In particular, I will explore AST’s motivational framing, which “functions as prods to action.” The major themes AST crafted in its narrative was related to brotherhood, the defense of Islam, the creation of an Islamic state, and remaining as an entity.

مرت الثورة السورية بمراحل عديدة، وتحالفات، واندماجات وغرف عمليات كثيرة، ولكن يجمع كل من عاش مراحل الثورة السورية؛ بأن جيش فتح؛ كان أنجح المشاريع التي قامت في الثورة السورية..

سواء من حيث الإنجاز والتنظيم..
أو من حيث المناطق التي فتح الله سبحانه وتعالى عليه..
أو من حيث التلاحم ونحو ذلك..

واليوم نحن نمر في مرحلة هي من أشد المراحل، وأصعب المراحل التي مرت بها الثورة السورية؛ فقد خسرنا عشرات المناطق المهمة والغالية على قلوبنا جميعًا، على رأسها: سراقب، معرة النعمان، جرجناز، الريف الغربي، وحيرتان، وعندان وغيرها من مناطق كثيرة؛

ترتفع اليوم النداءات لتقول:
“أعيدوا جيش الفتح”.
فهل الحل اليوم هو بإعادة جيش الفتح؟!!

عند التأمل في واقعنا الذي نعيشه اليوم؛ نجد أن جيش الفتح كان عبارةً عن مجلس عسكري منظم، بقلوب صافية صادقة مع الله سبحانه وتعالى، وتآخي كبير جدًّا، وتغليب لمصلحة الساحة على غيرها؛ مما أدى إلى هذه النتائج الكبيرة.

ولكن في نفس الوقت كان هناك فصائل لديها جيوش قوية، ولديها إمكانات كبيرة، وعدو مشتت بمناطق شاسعة!!

أما اليوم فلم يعد للفصائل تلك الإمكانيات القديمة، ولم تعد تلك الروح من التآخي والتصافي موجودة، لذلك أعتقد أن عودة جيش الفتح، بمعنى غرفة عمليات عسكرية؛ ليس هو الحل الكافي، وإلا فغرفة “الفتح المبين” شبيهة جدًا بجيش الفتح بكثير من مقوماتها، ولكن نحن اليوم بحاجة إلى ما هو أكبر من جيش الفتح.

نحن اليوم بحاجة إلى انصهار واندماج حقيقي وذوبان في جسم واحد، لا مانع من أن يسمى هذا الجسم “جيش الفتح” أو غير جيش الفتح، أو يسمى بـ”جيش الاعتصام” أو “جيش الثورة” أو غير ذلك.

نحن اليوم بحاجة ماسة لأن يتقي الله سبحانه وتعالى القادة جميعا ويقفوا مع أنفسهم وقفةً جادةً فيتنازل الجميع، ويتم الالتفاف حول رجل من رجالات هذه الثورة المباركة، صاحب كفاءة ودين، ويلتف الجميع حوله وتذوب الأسماء، ويجتمع المشايخ وطلاب العلم والقادة حول هذا الرجل، وتوضع كل إمكانات المحرر تحت هذا الرجل؛ لنستعيد القرار، ولنملك قرار السلم والحرب،وننفخ الروح في جسد الثورة من جديد!! فالثورة تمرض ولكن لاتموت بإذن الله..

وصدقوني: حينها سيتفاجئ الجميع بآلاف الشباب المتعطشين للقتال يلتقون بالجهات وسيتفاجئ الجميع بانقلاب الحال من دفاع إلى هجوم ومن خسائر مناطق إلى تحرير مدن!!

نحن اليوم في مهلة قصيرة لا نعرف متى سيغدر الروس، وأظن أن غدرتهم قريبة جدًّا؛ فنصيحتي للقادة -أكررها ثانيةً وثالثةً-: البدار البدار لخطوات جريئة حاسمة؛ لإنقاذ هذه الثورة المباركة، التي قُدِّمَ فيها آلاف الشهداء من الصادقين..
