As-Saḥāb Media presents a new audio message from Ayman aẓ-Ẓawāhirī: "First Installment of a Message of Hope and Glad Tidings to Our People in Egypt"

UPDATE 2/19 10:23 AM: Here is an English translation of the entire audio message below. There is no indication that Ẓawāhirī even mentioned anything about the protests, let alone that Mubarak resigned. Interestingly, too, Ẓawāhirī mentions something along the lines of: I also discussed this more in the second copy of Knights Under the Prophets Banner. The second edition was released on November 27, 2010.

New article from Shaykh Abū Basīr al-Ṭarṭūsī: "Lessons Learned Through the Fall of the Pharaoh of Egypt"

NOTE: Shaykh Abū Basīr al-Ṭarṭūsī has been one of the busiest writing about the Arab uprisings. For more of what he has written recently see:

al-Ṭarṭūsī is a Syrian Islamist who lives in London. al-Ṭarṭūsī is considered one of the most influential jihādī theorists. For instance, as highlighted by Vahid Brown on Jihadica, al-Ṭarṭūsī has 200 works in the jihādītext collection “A Mujāhid’s Bookbag.” Also, in the past al-Ṭarṭūsī has condemned Dr. Fadl for his revisionsand Yūsuf al-Qaraḍāwī for a variety of what al-Ṭarṭūsī views as problematic rulings.

New message from Abū Adam al-'Almānī of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan: "To His Brothers in Germany"

NOTE: This message from Abū Adam al-‘Almānī comes on the heels of a recent statement from his brother Abū Ibrāhīm al-’Almānī that detailed how they traveled from Germany to Yemen, where they met Anwar al ’Awlaqī, and then went to Pakistan to join up with al-Qā’idah, but later joined the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan instead. The below statement describes the various military operations the IMU has conducted over the past year.
