Finally the American president Trump announced his strategy and has called for continued presence of occupying forces while labeling Afghanistan as a threat to America.

It seems America is not yet ready to end the longest war in its history. Instead of trying to understand ground realities, they still arrogantly believe in their force and might.
However the Afghans have been tested by the American forces over the past sixteen years. So long as a single American soldier remains in our homeland and American leaders continue treading the path of war, we shall also sustain our Jihad against them with lofty spirits, absolute determination and additional firmness.

Freeing the land of Afghanistan from the American occupation is our religious obligation and national duty. We shall remain true to this duty so long as souls remain in our bodies.
America should have thought about withdrawing their troops from Afghanistan instead of continuing the war.

As Trump stated ‘Americans are weary of the long war in Afghanistan’, we shall cast further worry into them and force American officials to accept realities. The Afghan Mujahid nation is neither tired nor will it ever get tired in pursuit of winning their freedom and establishing an Islamic system. If America does not withdraw its forces from Afghanistan, the day will not be far when Afghanistan shall transform into a graveyard for the American Empire and the American leaders can understand this concept.

Afghanistan is not a threat to anyone and neither has anyone been harmed from our soil. Baseless allegations and falling under the influence of propaganda by intelligence agencies is in itself the source of all misery and war.

UNAMA civilian casualty report is partial and in contrast with reality

The UNAMA office in Kabul has again published its mid-year report about civilian casualties and like before, it is collected and composed even more unjustly.

The content of this report says that 43% of civilian casualties over the past six months are caused by the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate, 5% by Daesh, 18% by American and Kabul regime troops and 19% are unattributed.

We once again strongly reject this report. The Islamic Emirate is a lot more sensitive to and vigilant about prevention of civilian casualties than any other side. The American invaders and their trained Kabul administration security and Arbaki (militia) forces on the other hand do not care much about the loss of life and property of anyone.

The nation is aware that the American invaders and their local hirelings like the ANA, police, Arbakis and others cause losses to defenseless civilians in their blind attacks on a daily basis. They bomb villages and homes, rain mortars and heavy artillery shells, carry out night raids, drone attacks and various other operations while the Arbakis – on top of killing civilians – continuously harass locals and harm their proud status with insults and humiliation.

And the reality about thousands of our youth and elders held captive in barbaric cages by the invaders for years without a trial or justification is also not lost on anyone. But in spite of all this, UNAMA has ruled that these criminals are only responsible for 18% of the crimes, which is an absolute partial and unjust verdict.

It can be seen that UNAMA has again given preference to politics in this humanitarian issue and has tried to acquit the invaders and their hirelings.
The Islamic Emirate loves its nation, struggles for supremacy of Islam and the emancipation and freedom of its people. Its members have thrown their personal lives in danger, embraced martyrdom, accepted displacement, imprisonment, force and every other harm so that their nation is freed, then how is it plausible they be so reckless with the lives of people which Islam has forbidden?

Not a single report of UNAMA has been collected from areas under the control of Islamic Emirate even though real death and destruction by the invaders is carried out there and is the place of battles.

To end we want UNAMA and all humanitarian organizations to treat the issue of civilian casualties in a true impartial manner and make their data precise, comprehensive and independent.

The subject of civilian casualties should not be used as propaganda material and neither should an international organization such as UNAMA which claims neutrality treat such issues in a biased manner because such an approach will only exacerbate this problem and encourage the real perpetrators to continue their crimes.

Yesterday the commander of US and NATO forces in Afghanistan, General Nicholson, made irresponsible comments following the martyrdom of Kunduz governor, Shaheed Mullah Abdul Salam Akhund, stating:

“Salam’s death is an opportunity for change. The people of Afghanistan want peace and the Government of Afghanistan is committed to achieving peace through reconciliation.”

The Islamic Emirate – as a representative of the Mujahid Afghan nation and martyrdom-loving people of Kunduz – in response to the irrational comments of General Nicholson declares that you do not have the capacity to talk to the Mujahideen because you are invaders and you understand well that the valiant Afghan nation has always treated invaders such that their brains are first put in order then forced them out of their country in humiliation.

Read the history of the Afghans. It was these same Afghans who forced the much stronger economic and military powers of British and Soviet from their country through Jihad and might of the sword. Can you see anything by the name of Great Britain and Soviet Union on the face of this planet anymore?

The Muslim Afghan nation views you Americans with the same eye as the invading English and Soviets and with the blessing of Jihad and help of Allah, will throw you out of their motherland in a similar fashion.

We do not view the martyrdom of Mullah Abdul Salam as failure or regret but as honor and victory which has intensified the thirst for revenge of the people of Kunduz and Afghanistan. It has revealed the truthfulness of the Mujahideen and has further increased the love for Mullah Abdul Salam and his companions in the community. Understand that we are a nation that loves martyrdom in the path of Allah as you love the short life of this fleeting world.

These are not our emotions or assumptions talking but are the realities which forced over one hundred and fifty thousand fully equipped troops to kneel.

If you do not end this occupation and accept the lawful demands of the valiant Afghan nation then this nation (Allah willing) will force you out of Afghanistan as the commander of US and NATO forces with all your might and technology just as this resistance broke, deranged and forced out your most celebrated commanders and experienced generals.

To Donald Trump, President of the United States of America!

Availing this opportunity of understanding arisen due to the presidential change of your country, I wish to share with you a few realities about the ongoing war in Afghanistan.

The war launched on Afghanistan by your troops has completed its fifteenth year, is the longest war in your history (still prolonging) and has caused human and material losses to both sides.

You, being chosen as the elected President of the United States and having to carry the burden of responsibility for all aspects of this war, must ask what is the end goal of this war? Everyone understands that wars are not waged for the sake of war but as a means to an end.

If your goal is the permanent occupation of Afghanistan, oppressing this nation, forcing a rule upon them then using the land, air space and other resources of this country for your own interests; then you must learn from past experiments and understand that such dreams can never materialize because to do so you must first guarantee stability for your soldiers and the servile regime before using the air and land for your vested interests. However historical experiences, the nature of this land and its people and most importantly, the past 15 years have proven that it is impossible to provide safety for foreign forces or quell the armed religious and national resistance against it.

Come let us unwaveringly accept that our nation has waged a historically successful struggle against a foreign invasion over the past 15 years. Our people did not have the material, military, logistical or even the official moral support of any nation.

Tens of countries allied in this occupation used military, political, propaganda and every other means available to breakdown our lawful resistance but as our Jihad and struggle was legitimate religiously, intellectually, nationally and conforming to all other lawful standards and because our nation believes in it to the extent of sacrosanctity, therefore the invaders failed to pacify this resistance despite having a lopsided military advantage. In the end, many officials of the countries allying with the occupation recognized that they are not fighting some rebellious group, rather they are at war with an entire nation. Hence they embraced this reality, opened channels of dialogue and understanding with the Islamic Emirate and slowly began pulling their troops out of this illegal, ineffective and aimless war.

Elected President of the United States!

The Afghans, as a nation ravaged by war for thirty eight long years, sincerely want to bring this war to an end however they know – despite whatever reasons for previous wars – that the principle cause for the ongoing conflict is the presence of foreign occupying forces in our independent country. To bring an end to this war feeding on the blood of your and our people, you must further understand the geography and nature of this war through the following clarifications.

First: As a nation of the Asian continent, Afghanistan boasts of regionally having the longest history of independence and freedom. That this nation has been invaded the most and has somehow emerged sound from these disasters while the dangers of occupation and disintegration have not harmed it, one of the reasons is because the independence of this nation, its territorial integrity and defense of national interests is dependent upon its people and not on individuals, groups and governments. This nation holds its sovereignty dear above any estimations and considers itself the true and undisputed owner of this geography.

Second: The Afghan nation considers the independence of their country as their lawful right and firmly believes it can safeguard and manage its own homeland. History does not recall a time when the security and interests of others were threatened from the land and airspace of this country. Our country remained neutral in both the First and Second World Wars and did not aid or ally with any side. Our country also remained a member of non-aligned nations during the Cold War.

This fear of people viewing our country being used as a potential strategic theater by rivals or being involved in a great game is unfounded. We want to take a breath of serenity in our country after long wars and heal the wounds of our nation. Our nation will not accept the military presence of western colonialists just as it refused the military presence of eastern colonialists.

Third: Just as our people do not hold the intention of harming others, they reciprocally will not accept harm by others. You understand that our country is the poorest from amongst the so-called third world countries. The only asset that our persecuted nation holds is a free and independent country retained through the ages with a lot of blood and sacrifice. Our nation is ready for every sacrifice in defense of this asset and values its preservation above every estimation. We fought against the English for more than half a century from the end of the 19th century and beginning of 20th century for this exact aim (acquiring independence). In defense of our country, we offered over 1.5 million martyrs against the Soviet invasion.

Looking at the above, it would be naive for someone to think that they can force our nation to accept their invasion and rule or that they can exhaust our nation by prolonging this war. Our nation considers fighting for its rights as a great honor and the pinnacle of heroism and they do not see dying in this path as death, but as eternal life.

Fourth: Your previous administrations have tried to portray the armed resistance against occupation in Afghanistan as mere rebellion, being led by a few supposed ‘terrorists’ who do not have the backing of the people. However after witnessing fifteen years of realities and the ever expanding resistance, there should be no doubts left that this war is the unified uprising of all ethnicities across Afghanistan and not the work of a small group or a few individuals. The leadership of this uprising, as a governing system, is in the hands of the Islamic Emirate. The Islamic Emirate is not some unsupported terror spreading fighting group, rather it is an orderly and well-grounded movement of the people which carries with itself a rational and understandable agenda for its warfare, politics and lawful cause.

The Islamic Emirate has justification and rationale for its every action and reaction. That is why it is gaining international political legitimacy every day and on top of regional countries, maintains relations with various countries around the world including with the United Nations and various other bodies. The Islamic Emirate – as a governing body – is the only movement among the current political sides of Afghanistan to have popular and countrywide support of the people. It has deep roots in all the ethnic communities of Afghanistan, currently rules over fifty percent of Afghanistan, influences a further thirty percent and can threaten the enemy rule established by your troops and Kabul regime in the remaining twenty percent at any given moment.

It is due to this reason that many countries regionally and globally have arrived at a conclusion that it is this nationally supported political-military power (Islamic Emirate) which they should interact and come to an understanding with as a responsible future entity of this country because the other groups and individuals have risen only through foreign support and do not have any foundations among the people.

Fifth: The people serving in the current regime under your support calling themselves the government of Afghanistan, can never represent this nation and neither do the people have any trust in them. These people, who earn the dishonor of most corrupt regime in the world annually, are not loyal to anything except their own material interests.

An illustration of their disloyalty towards their country and people is the saga of Kabul Bank where the savings of the poor workers, teachers, laborers and working class were siphoned off by the high-ranking officials of this very regime that built their accounts and businesses with it overseas.

On top of embezzling international aid, these corrupt officials have also looted the wealth of their own people, having usurped thousands of hectares of land, and are embroiled in theft, banditry, administrative corruption, immorality and organized crimes. Therefore they are not trusted by the people and neither can you impose them upon the nation any longer through threat of force and violence.

Sixth: There is a consensus in the country, regionally and even internationally that the war in Afghanistan is not in the interest of anyone. We, as a party of the conflict on whom this war has been imposed and whose country has come under direct military invasion, consider it our responsibility to deliver our persecuted and oppressed nation from the flames of war. It is on these basis that we send you our message to control this war of occupation launched by your military. Do not exert any further efforts into turning Afghans and the children of America into sacrificial animals for an unwinnable war.

In recent times all international research and analysis institutes agree that the American military mission in Afghanistan has reached a slowly deteriorating stalemate. If the American forces insist on continuing the occupation of our country and preventing us from living an honorable and free life then obviously, war is our necessity and at the same time our lawful right. But perhaps this futile war is not your necessity. In such a state it is the responsibility of American officials, as the initiators of war, to bring an end to this tragedy. We call it a tragedy because it is due to your soldiers and your sponsored militias that our sinless children, women and innocent youth are killed daily throughout the country and they continue to lose their homes, businesses, hospitals and farms. It is due to the barbaric airstrikes of your army that whole villages are turned into graveyards like in the case of Kunduz and the Afghan people endure their lives in a climate of fear and terror due to your night raids and bombings.

Just as this war has proven fruitless for you both militarily and politically, it has also morphed into a mark of shame for you morally and ethically where it is either your own soldiers or armed gangs under your patronage that are regularly implicated in war crimes.

President of America!

Perhaps some contents of this letter will prove bitter for your taste. But since they are realities and tangible facts, they must be accepted and treated as bitter medicine that is taken by patients out of fear of seeing their condition deteriorate.

The intelligence networks of the Kabul administration have recently circulated forged letters in multiple provinces and regions of the country with the aim of spurring confusion among the general masses.

A few days earlier a letter full of fallacy was disseminated under the name of Sheikhul Hadith Mawlawi Abdul Hakim Sahib, the Chief of Islamic Emirate’s Judiciary and member of the Leadership Council. Then another letter surfaced in some parts of Paktia, Khost, Paktika and Logar provinces which was also the work of enemy intelligence circles containing propaganda against the leadership of the Islamic Emirate. Moreover the intelligence apparatus of the Kabul administration has printed out threats, night letters, warning and various other letters in multiple provinces and tasked their agents to circulate these letters and propaganda among the masses in the guise of Mujahideen.

Similarly several university lecturers and other influential individuals were threatened the other day via telephone in Kabul with the caller identifying himself as member of the Islamic Emirate.

The Islamic Emirate rejects all such spurious attempts. We neither warn nor threaten anyone in secrecy. If the need for such a step arises, we perform it through our spokesmen, official website and other official publication channels. Aside from these methods, all circulation of threatening night letters, dissemination of written messages and sowing confusion among the masses is the work of Kabul administration intelligence. They want to recompense their failure on the battlefield with such pathetic and spineless actions.

We ask the entire nation, influential personalities and threatened individuals to not pay any heed to these falsehoods. And we specifically call upon media outlets to not become instruments for intelligence objectives and strongly desist from publishing propaganda taken from the mouth of enemy.

A Russian news outlet Sputnik published a report a while back stating that the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate have clashed with Tajikistan border forces in the country’s northern Kunduz province.

Our report in this regard – following an investigation – revealed that about 15 days ago, a group of smugglers tried to move banned substances into Tajikistan border via Kunduz but were engaged by Tajik border troops.

This incident has no ties with the Islamic Emirate and neither are the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate allowed to create problems with border troops of neighboring countries. We strongly reject these reports delivered by whatever source and assure all our neighboring countries that the Islamic Emirate does not have any intention of harming its neighboring nations.

However the border area between Kunduz and Tajikistan is very dense and can be misused by smugglers. The Islamic Emirate will try its utmost to fulfill its obligation in preventing illegal trafficking in the area.

The other night, several martyrdom seekers of Islamic Emirate targeted an important secret intelligence center of Kabul administration and foreign invaders in Shahr-e-Naw area of Kabul city inflicting heavy losses on the enemy.

Following the attack, Amnesty International labelled this attack a war crime and published a statement suiting the fancy of the US embassy.

We strongly condemn the unjust verdict and misuse of the impartial status of Amnesty International by its Asia Branch.

Out attack was against a military-intelligence center handled by the former head of intelligence of the Kabul administration and containing a branch of Intel sharing by foreign invaders.

That there was a NGO – CARE International – located on a street across this military zone then this has nothing to do with the plan of operation. The target of this operation was not CARE International and this has also been affirmed by CARE International in its statement describing the target as a compound close to their office.

It is astonishing that CARE International does not consider this attack as an attack on its office however the Asia Branch of Amnesty International is forcing it upon them.

We have always declared at launch of our spring operations that civilians and civilian compounds must keep their distance from the military and intelligence centers of foreign invaders and their stooges so that they are not harmed during attacks. Therefore it is not our responsibility that such NGOs brush aside our warnings.

This is not the first time Amnesty International has unjustly ruled against us rather they also accused us of wrongdoings during the conquest of Kunduz last year in accordance with the guidelines of invaders and intelligence circles.

Yesterday the Asia Branch of this supposed impartial third party organization (Amnesty International) also advised the American intelligence (CIA) to make use of new technology in preventing further Mujahideen attacks, and thus prevent the attacks of independence seeking Afghans.

Such remarks and unfounded reports by Amnesty International show that this society is not a Human Right organization but is greatly influenced by the intelligence agencies of western invading countries. That is why it carries out suspicious activities to attain malicious goals which will further bring her impartial status under the spotlight and raise doubts in the minds of common people.

Historically the people of Afghanistan have not proved detrimental to nor interfered in the internal affairs of others and they seek a reciprocal treatment towards the Afghans from other countries.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan – as a representative of its people – is waging a war against the American occupation. Those waging war against us are either foreign invading countries – who toppled our established government, are killing our people, destroying our homes and have snatched freedom from our nation – or the warlords and incompetent and corrupt individuals of the Kabul administration who have been forced upon our people by America. They do not have the popular support and backing of our people and only work for their own interests by spending their short political lives under the wings of American aircraft.

Reports circulating in the media state that India will be providing military aid to the Kabul administration in form of aircrafts and other equipment. This is the severalth time that India is giving the stooge Kabul administration military aid and it is an obvious fact that such weapons will be used to kill our people, oppress our nation and destroy our homes and public welfare structures, a good example of which is Puli Alchin bridge in Kunduz recently destroyed by regime helicopters that were provided by the Indian government.

Providing the Kabul administration with such deadly weapons cannot be interpreted as friendship with the people of our country but as support for a criminal foreign backed group and clear hostility towards our people. The Islamic Emirate condemns this action with the strongest of terms. Such acts will create distrust between the people of both countries and become a reason for further deterioration of relationship.

We call on India to stop exporting items of killing and destruction to Afghanistan and to stop efforts of prolonging the lifespan of this corrupt regime with its military aid.

If anyone wishes to strengthen the Kabul stooge administration with military aid during occupation, this cannot be interpreted as anything other than enmity with the Afghans and shall arouse hatred of the people of Afghanistan.

Yesterday the defense secretary of the invading country US made an unannounced visit to Kabul where he exaggerated to his troops, granted new powers to commander Nicholson and talked about keeping 400 extra precautionary troops in region close to our homeland.

Such repetitive and futile statements can never heal the wounds of America because many of her generals have exhausted themselves here, many troops have been killed, maimed and developed mental illnesses, and she has used vast powers and made many boastful speeches.

American leaders should accept the realities instead of giving empty talk, end the occupation and save yourselves from international shame through use of reason and logic.

Our struggle against the invaders shall continue until the complete independence of our country and establishment of pathway for an Islamic system. No threat can ever stop our struggle in this path.

American leaders including the defense secretary should have learnt much from their predecessors. Many plans have been aborted here and many generals and armies handed defeat and disappointment.

Keeping a few hundreds troops in a far region and giving greater powers to your commander to kill and terrorize would have only worked if we had already not witnessed your savagery of 2001, Guantanamo, Bagram, night raids and wholesale destruction of villages and cities through your bombardments.
