The security forces of the Islamic Emirate’s three ministries (Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Interior and Intelligence) under the leadership of Deputy Minister of Defense, Alhaj Mullah Mohammad Fazil Mazloom, launched a large-scale clearing operation in Kabul and other nearby provinces.

The purpose of the operation is to catch and eliminate all kinds of robbers, kidnappers, evil elements and other criminals who have already been detected and monitored by the security forces.

No civilian persons or homes will be affected during the operation, all precautionary measures will be taken and people will be treated well.

We urge the residents of these provinces and regions to assist in providing information to their security forces, and not to feel intimidated by the operation, as it is aimed for better security, reassurance and satisfaction of the people and the citizens of Kabul, businessmen and other citizens.

If someone is not a criminal or has no connection with the criminals, they will have no problem, all the people should stay calm in their homes and places and help their security forces.

After the stooge enemy was exposed and suffered humiliating defeats across the country where thousands of soldiers defected and embraced the open arms of the Islamic Emirate, and nearly two hundred districts were cleansed from their malicious presence, the enemy has now reached for propaganda, fabrications and other futile tactics regarding which we clarify the following:

– Fake statements, documents, threats and other letters are recently being circulated on social media and even physically airdropped into some areas that impose restrictions on locals, threatens them, specifies gender laws, regulates lives, beards, movements and even contains baseless claims about marriage of daughters and other such issues.

– Similarly fake videos and footage of multi-year-old video scenes showing activities of Daesh militias are also passed off as recent actions committed by the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate.

– Moreover, spurious claims and propaganda is being conjured and handed over to media by the enemy about horrendous dealings by the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate with locals in the recently liberated districts.

– Unfounded reports about inflicting hundreds of casualties on the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate or retaking recently liberated districts are also being published by the enemy.

The Islamic Emirate rejects all above material and does not allow anyone to transgress against people anywhere, or to impose laws and regulations by themselves, or to circumscribe lives, and neither has there been any ill-treatment of women and men, nor is anyone allowed to do so.

All this propaganda by the enemy is aimed at controlling their fear and anxiety, to distract common thinking and to cover up their compounding failures.

We want all media outlets, activists and the general public to not fall victim to such propaganda and to rest assured about their Mujahideen brothers. All our publications will be distributed through our official and other channels through which we have communicated with outlets over the past twenty years. Any material published by any additional and novel channels should be ignored.

Canards are being published by media and from regions that the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate are imposing restrictions or even a complete ban on media, people and women in the newly liberated areas.

We reject such propaganda. The liberated areas are populated by members of this exact (Afghan) believing and Muslim nation, all of whom live within the framework of Islam and are not in need of imposition of restrictions or prohibitions from certain things.

All schools and educational institutes are fully open, the media is allowed to operate in a free and neutral manner within Islamic injunctions, clinics and health centers are able to work without any constraints, and NGOs along with other independent organizations are also able to operate freely.

Civil servants, journalists and workers of various service providers can also live and perform their duties without any fear or threats.

Moreover, all national traders, merchants, investors and businessmen across the country are being assured that they and their goods will be protected and none will face any obstructions or problems.

The Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate will cooperate and assist the aforementioned sectors to the best of its abilities and lend support in enhancing and boosting their services.

Creating fear, conducting propaganda and spreading canards in this regard is the work of enemy circles. Media and influential individuals must not fall victim to such rumors or be alarmed.

The United Nations Security Council released a report asserting that the Islamic Emirate has no interest in peace and that it has links with Al Qaeda organization.

We reject this report. Regrettably, it is compiled from false information provided by enemy circles and has exploited the position of the United Nations Security Council.

The policy of the Islamic Emirate remains that it will not allow anyone to use the soil of Afghanistan to threaten the security of anyone else.

Moreover, the representatives of the Islamic Emirate have made complete preparations for intra-Afghan negotiations so that progress can be made during talks and all clauses of the Doha agreement be implemented. But unfortunately, the other side has still failed to comply with this important accord, for example, not withdrawing all foreign forces from Afghanistan by May, not removing names of leaders of the Islamic Emirate from UN black and reward lists, obstructing progress in intra-Afghan negotiations, and not resolving  the issue of all prisoner release in three month period following the launch of intra-Afghan negotiations – all of which constitute violations of the Doha agreement.

It is evident from the above that the Islamic Emirate has acted in line with the Doha agreement but the opposite side has not fulfilled its commitments and violated them.

Pinning blame on the Islamic Emirate by the UNSC in such circumstances is injustice. They must not cater to the mood of one party, must verify their data, must candidly share their concerns with representatives of the Islamic Emirate and not confound the situation by publishing false information.

Release of such partisan reports calls into question the impartiality of UNSC and damages its international credibility.

The Islamic Emirate is committed to the peace process, but, if anyone wants to impose their agendas on the Afghans from abroad or take a stand against the sovereignty of Afghanistan, then we will stand up to them and consider defending our right as our legal prerogative.

Representatives of a number of European and other countries have baselessly asserted through a statement that the Islamic Emirate is continuing a senseless war, is killing civilians, is destroying public infrastructure and is involved in assassinations.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan rejects all such allegations.

All charges which they have leveled are unsubstantiated. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has absolutely no hand in civilian killings and neither is it involved in the destruction of public infrastructure, rather it considers safeguarding and securing public infrastructure its own responsibility.

The policy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan from the very outset has been to resolve issues through dialogue.

The principle and leading cause for the ongoing crisis in Afghanistan is foreign occupation from which the Afghans have died for a full two decades, which has imposed on our people an impotent administration and which is still continuing to lend support to this corrupt regime.

Unfortunately, most countries including the European Union are either directly or indirectly involved in the tragedies, destruction, bombings, killings and various other crimes being experienced by our people for the past twenty years, and some are still exerting efforts to extend the presence of foreign occupation forces in Afghanistan and to prolong the ongoing conflict.

The Islamic Emirate has a legal right to free its homeland from the presence of occupying forces with every lawful means necessary.

If the Doha agreement is implemented, it will prove beneficial and in the interest of America along with other involved countries as well as the Afghans. However, if some discard the Doha accord and keep searching for excuses to continue the war and protract the occupation, then history has proven that the Afghan Mujahid nation can valiantly defend its values, soil, homeland and rights.

Our proclamations about negotiations and dialogue must not be exploited nor mistaken for a weakness.

We have the backing of a proud and free nation that is willing to take a stand against all plots and foreign conspiracies, Allah willing.

A recent report by the US Treasury Department states that Al Qaeda organization retains presence in Afghanistan and is gaining strength.

We strongly reject this report. The report has been compiled by partisan and warmongering circles based on false information.

In the year 2001 when a large-scale war broke out in Afghanistan and the subsequent uprisings in parts of the Arab world, members of Al Qaeda and other foreign nationals that had previously sought refuge in Afghanistan returned back to their homelands.

Currently, there are no Al Qaeda operatives present in Afghanistan and neither does there remain a need for any foreign national to live in Afghanistan.

Unfortunately, some circles are seeking the extension of this imposed war on the Afghan nation in pursuit of their interests and malicious objectives, are thus seeking to corrupt minds and create unwarranted fears with propaganda, and are sourcing information from warmongering individuals and parties before forwarding it to other departments.

We consider the full implementation of the Doha agreement a logical solution to the ongoing problem, and also in the interest of both the American and Afghan people.

The Islamic Emirate once again declares that it shall remain committed to all clauses of the Doha agreement, not allow anyone to pose a threat to the security of the United States and its allies from the soil of Afghanistan or build bases here.

The Islamic Emirate maintains that all concerned parties must remain committed to the Doha agreement and their stated responsibilities.

A number of religious scholars, journalists and political figures have recently lost their lives in targeted attacks in different parts of the country.

The Islamic Emirate has rejected such killings each time and labeled it detrimental for the country. It once again proclaims to both our compatriots and the world that such people are not included in our military target lists.

The Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate solely target enemy that is actively engaged in fighting or carrying out espionage activities.

Barring this, lethal action against other people is neither an objective nor in the interest of the future of our homeland.

The Islamic Emirate has had specific targets from the outset of its struggle and unfailingly accepted responsibility for those actions. The Islamic Emirate has never attacked non-military and unarmed personnel over the past two decades, hence allegations by the Kabul administration of baselessly implicating the Islamic Emirate in such attacks are unsubstantiated.

The Islamic Emirate calls on its fellow citizens and the world to identify elements and circles that are engaging in these activities at this critical juncture in order to muddy water and catch fish.

We believe these attacks are perpetrated by those whom oppose the establishment of peace and Islamic system in our homeland. They want to besmirch Mujahideen with such attacks and lay groundwork for the prolongation of occupation of the country.
