For the past few days, the military slave media has been trying to give the nation the impression that the TTP is being funded by India by presenting fabricated reports.
We categorically deny all these reports.
The purpose of such fabricated press conferences is nothing but to cover up the army’s failures. Like the censorship of the events in Neelum Valley, instead of responding to the Indian aggression there, fake reports and dramatic press conferences were held against TTP to distract the nation.
In reality, it is the habit of Pakistani Army to bomb the tribal areas and Baloch population and conduct military operations there with direct US and other foreign fundings.
Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan by responding to the religious obligation, has demanded the establishment of an Islamic system in Pakistan (which is the sole purpose behind creation of this country). All the difficulties and necessities which arose along the way have been addressed by the Mujahideen on their own and thanks to the sincere support of the zealous Pakistani public. For this cause thousands of religious scholars, students, leaders and members have given countless sacrifices and this process remains on going till this day.
The demand for the implementation of Sharia on the territory of Pakistan and the political and armed struggle for it is one of the primary objectives of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and it is our religious and political right. We are committed to remove all obstacles in our away to fulfill this goal.
We urge the public not to listen to the words of the army. Through such fake reports it hopes to stop the struggle for legitimate demands in the country and to make the public become disillusioned from Mujahideen. Instead we urge the public to investigate the ground realities and take lessons from the past events. Try to understand how much false propaganda the army has been using for the last two or three years to cover up its political and military failures.
Muhammad Khurasani
Central Spokesman of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan
