New statement from the Islamic Emirate of Aghanistan’s Zabīh Allah Mujāhid: “Remarks Regarding Report Published By UNAMA”

Today UNAMA published a report in Kabul highlighting civilian casualties in the first six months of this year.

Even thought UNAMA did point out that a large portion of civilian casualties have been caused by American airstrikes and night raids in the first half of this year however they failed to publish the true extent of casualties.

Similarly, the percentage of civilian casualties attributed to the Islamic Emirate is also of full glaring holes and rejected by us.

An active department for the prevention of civilian casualties is operating on behalf of the Islamic Emirate that thoroughly investigates every civilian casualty incident and prevents its reoccurrence. Moreover, no attack has been deliberately or specifically carried out against a civilian target.

Yet the report by UNAMA has still falsely attributed 38% of all civilian casualties to the Islamic Emirate.

UNAMA report has attributed attacks to the Islamic Emirate that have been rejected by us at the time of occurrence.

Additionally, individuals that are working in enemy ranks and actively supporting the enemy in military and intelligence departments have been given a civilian status.

On the other hand, the invaders responsible for 80% of civilian casualties and directly involved in or playing a supporting role in every civilian casualty incident, have only been blamed for 18% of total losses which is clear injustice as witnessed by our entire nation.

The Islamic Emirate advises all humanitarian and right organizations including UNAMA that effective steps for the prevention of civilian casualties can only be taken when a thorough investigation is carried out about each incident, real perpetrators as requirements demand are highlighted and a humanitarian issue such as civilian casualties is kept separate from politics.

This afternoon, the Islamic Emirate delegation led by the Political Deputy of the Islamic Emirate, Mullah Baradar Akhund, attended a joint conference with a number of scholars and experts at the headquarters of the Majlis-e-Ulema of Indonesia.

The conference was held at the Majlis-e-Ulema conference hall in Jakarta, where respected Mullah Barader Akhund and his colleagues highlighted the current situation of Afghanistan, policy and achievements of the Islamic Emirate.

The leaders of the Indonesian Ulema Council and other prominent leaders of the country appreciated the sacrifices of the Islamic Emirate and the Afghan Mujahideen, offered their views and suggestions and also prayed for further success. Later the delegation of the Islamic Emirate attended a lunch prepared by the Majlis-e-Ulema.

Reports have been published by the media citing the Federal Investigation Agency of Pakistan that the former leader of the Islamic Emirate – the martyr Mullah Akhtar Muhammad Mansoor (may Allah have mercy on him) – was busy with real estate business in Pakistan.

Despite the fact that the names published are of other persons and the trade mentioned is a lawful undertaking however Shaheed Mansoor Sahib neither had time for such a trade nor did conduct such a business.

We do not understand the purpose behind such reports but can confidently say that such sketchy reports about the esteemed leaders of the Islamic Emirate are neither beneficial for anyone nor can it harm the lofty character of Shaheed Mansoor Sahib (may Allah have mercy on him).

Those who seek to assist peace in Afghanistan must refrain from smearing the character of our honorable leaders under whatever name and title.

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, while sitting with the Pakistani Prime Minister remarked that he could win the war in Afghanistan by killing ten million Afghans and other such comments.

Trump’s policy that he does not want to play the role of a police officer in Afghanistan and that this war against an entire nation cannot be won so long as they are alive is something positive however his claim that he can wipe out Afghanistan, kill ten million Afghans and win this war through such a method is irresponsible and we condemn it in the strongest terms.

This dream was taken to the grave by Genghis, British and the former Soviet leaders. On the contrary, their Empires were wiped off the face of this earth but the Afghan nation proudly endured and will continue to endure, live and remain proud, Allah willing.

America has never shown restraint in killing the Afghans over the past 18 years and has used all weapons of mass destruction including the Mother Of All Bombs. Yet the 18 years of force proved that the policy of aggression and tyranny is fruitless and demonstrates ignorance regarding why Afghanistan is called the Graveyard of Empires.

We believe that Trump should pay close attention to the actual cause of the problem instead of irresponsible comments and take practical steps towards finding a solution instead of failed policies and impractical hubris.

The believing Afghan nation has upright customs and a clear policy regarding healthy interactions and positive relations therefore it would be wise to focus on finding a peaceful and rational solution and advantage taken of the peaceful negotiation plan offered by the Islamic Emirate that is backed by the entire nation, as acknowledged by yourself.

In the continuing series of war crimes and deliberate killing of common people, American invaders accompanied by Kabul administration troops carried out an overnight raid on Tangi Sayedano clinic and Goda village of Chak district, Maidan Wardak province.
This major crime resulted in the destruction of Tangi Sayedano clinic while 4 civilians (clinic administrator, on-duty doctor, a nurse and a patient) were ruthlessly murdered.
This crime happened on the same night as the occupying and puppet enemy bombed the home of villager (Ismail) located in Kutb Khelo village of Puli Khumri city’s PD2, Baghlan province, from which the house was destroyed, a woman and 5 children martyred and Ismail himself wounded.
Some 4 days earlier Haji Nadir village in Dand-e-Shahabuddin was also bombed, leaving an innocent woman martyred and 5 children wounded.
Moreover, bombings were carried out six times against civilians over the past 5 days in Bakhtabad, Aliabad and Karez Denak areas of Shindand district, Herat province, from which a mosque was destroyed and 4 civilians martyred, 3 wounded in Bakhtabad area, 2 civilians were martyred and 3 wounded in Aliabad area, a white-bearded shop owner was also martyred while 2 more civilians were martyred in Karez Denak area.
The Islamic Emirate strongly condemns all these deliberate murders and war crimes, calls on international human right organizations to question the American invaders about these war crimes and genocide and prevent such crimes from continuing.

The US commander of central command in Afghanistan – General Frank Mckenzie – in a statement with media in Germany, claimed that Daesh is a major threat in Afghanistan that threatens United States.
The statement comes while the so-called Daesh mischief that has been supported by America since first day of its emergence is not a great force that can be labeled a threat.
Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate and Afghan Nation have strongly resisted Daesh and purged many parts of the county from this miscreant, however with aerial support of American invaders and intelligence assistance of Kabul administration a small group of Daesh still exists in some parts of eastern Afghanistan.
Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate have just launched operations against Daesh in Nangarhar province to rescue the oppressed people from the evil of Daesh, but American invaders and their local puppets bomb Mujahideen military lines from time to time and carry out raids to create opposition to prevent full eradication of Daesh evildoers and provide it an opportunity of taking breath.
If American generals really fear from Daesh, then why they are avoiding its elimination and are creating hurdles against Mujahideen operations.
Statements of American generals are opposite of their actions. Their occupation is practically providing Daesh a ground in Afghanistan and they are using its name and existence as an instrument.
