New release from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: “Statement By the Health Commission Regarding Airstrikes and Raids on Hospitals and Clinics”

Over the past few days the American invaders and their domestic allied troops have intensified airstrikes and raids on hospitals and health centers across the country which have resulted in the destruction of multiple clinics as well as martyrdom, injury and detention of many health workers including reputable doctors.
– On Tuesday, combined US and local troops carried out a raid on a vital health clinic that provided services to many people in Tangi valley of Chak district, Maidan Wardak province, during which they martyred 4 individuals including 2 doctors and abducted another.
– A similar raid was carried out on a clinic in Bakwa district center, Farah province, resulting in large part of the facility damaged, all doors and windows broken and all medicine and essentials destroyed.
– A raid was carried out on CHC health clinic in Kajaki district of Helmand province during which the facility was heavily damaged and 2 doctors abducted.
– An ambulance of Babaji clinic in Helmand provincial capital was destroyed with an airstrike.
– Manager (Doctor Gul Ahmad) of Shilgar district Emergency Clinic, Ghazni province, along with another doctor were martyred by a US airstrike.
Moreover, a campaign by Americans and their domestic supporters of systematically targeting hospitals and health clinics is underway in other parts of the country as well.
Health Commission of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan strongly condemns such reckless attacks and deliberate targeting of health centers and considers such actions a war crime and violation of all humanitarian norms.
It calls upon the World Health Organization, humanitarian institutions, right groups and other advocacy agencies to condemn these brutal US actions against health centers in Afghanistan, to launch a comprehensive investigation and prevent such war crimes from reoccurring.

Special Representative of the US State Department and head of negotiation team Khalilzad met with the Political Deputy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and head of the Political Office, the respected Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar.

Views were exchanged about key aspects for a peaceful resolution of the Afghan issue. The Political Deputy of the Islamic Emirate remarked:

It is absolutely vital that the two key agenda points of the previous meeting (full withdrawal of foreign forces from Afghanistan and preventing Afghanistan from harming others) be finalized. This will open the way for resolving other aspects of the issue and we cannot enter into other topics before this. It was affirmed in the meeting that talks shall resume today (Wednesday) and the mentioned points shall be extensively discussed so that an agreement can be reached regarding all issues including the withdrawal of foreign forces.

Amid the unrelenting cycle of war crimes and savagery, American invaders carried out six drone strikes on civilians in Garhoch area of Badpash district, Laghman province.
All six drone strikes were indiscriminate and aimed at civilian targets from which 11 innocent civilian countrymen including 5 women were martyred.
In another criminal act, the American invaders and their domestic mercenaries carried out an overnight raid on Gandomak area of Sherzad district, Nangarhar province.
The enemy forced their way inside homes by destroying gates with explosives and stole valuables from homes.
They enemy later bombed the area as well which resulted in 5 homes destroyed and 2 villagers martyred.
This barbarity and crime is taking place a day after the enemy attacked and destroyed tens of civilian homes in various areas of Faryab province’s Gurzewan district, displacing and destroying the shelter of our innocent oppressed countrymen in this bitterly cold season.

The head of United States Central Command General Joseph Votel, while talking to the media yesterday made propaganda claims that Daesh in Afghanistan is a major threat and has acquired the capability of directly attacking America from Afghanistan.

Exaggerating threat of Daesh miscreants and utilizing it for media propaganda in order to prolong the invasion of Afghanistan is the duty of many American generals. Instead of assessing the real nature of dispute of Afghanistan, they continue to repeat their previous mistakes of classifying Afghanistan as a major threat to America.

American generals, despite their failure in numerous war tactics during past eighteen years and bringing international and historical shame upon America, still emphasizes on extension of war through use of such rumors to protect the interests of their war mafias and to continue selling weapons.

The Islamic Emirate categorically rejects claims of the American general. Afghanistan neither poses threat to any one nor will the Afghan nation allow such doings. Daesh militant group is restricted to a small area of Afghanistan in spite of full support of American air force, is under the siege and attacks of Muajhideen and will soon be eradicated.

American invaders have consistently supported Daesh by bombarding the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate, providing air escort to under siege personnel of Daesh and by raiding prisons of Islamic Emirate to free Daesh captives.

American generals, by exaggerating the threat of Daesh miscreants, seek to stoke anxieties of regional countries and spread fear in the American public that are against the US presence in Afghanistan and want to see its end.

The meetings taking place for the past six consecutive days in the Qatari capital of Doha between the negotiation team of Islamic Emirate and the United States finally came to an end today.

In accordance with the agenda, this round of negotiations revolving around the withdrawal of foreign troops from Afghanistan and other vital issues saw progress; but since issues are of critical nature and need comprehensive discussions therefore it was decided that talks about unsolved matters will resume in similar future meetings in order to find an appropriate and effective solution and also to share details of the meetings and receive guidance from their respective leaderships.

The policy of the Islamic Emirate during talks was very clear – until the issue of withdrawal of foreign forces from Afghanistan is agreed upon, progress in other issues is impossible.

In the end the delegation of the Islamic Emirate thanked Qatar for their facilitation role.

Reports by some media outlets about agreement on a ceasefire and talks with the Kabul administration are not true.

American invaders and their hirelings carried out a raid last night on a compound where Mujahideen were holding Daesh detainees located in Panj Buz area of Jwand district, Badghis province.

The combined enemy martyred 2 guards and took away 40 Daesh detainees. It seems that the American invaders and the Kabul administration stooges carried out the raid to rescue Daesh prisoners.

Every time the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate have engaged Daesh gunmen in battle, the American invaders have aided Daesh and bombed Mujahideen positions.

Just as Daesh was being uprooted by Mujahideen in Darzab district of Jowzjan province and were on the brink of complete annihilation, the American invaders and Kabul administration jointly rescued over 200 Daeshis via helicopters.

The overnight raid is the latest attempt of rescuing Daesh as both America and the Kabul administration have a hand in it and are trying to revive and broaden the reach of this phenomenon.
