We held productive negotiations with the US negotiation team and finalized an agreement. The American team seemed content with the progress up until yesterday as we ended our talks in good atmosphere and both sides began making preparations for the announcement and signing of the agreement.
Intra-Afghan negotiations were scheduled for the 23rd of September following the announcement and signing of the agreement
Regional and international countries and organizations had also shown support for this process.
Now, as President of the United States has announced suspension of negotiations with the Islamic Emirate, this will harm America more than anyone else. It will damage its reputation, unmask its anti-peace policy to the world even more, increase its loss of life and treasure and present its political interactions as erratic.
The Islamic Emirate proved to the world through continuing negotiations that this war has been imposed upon us by others and if talks are given precedence over war, we will follow it through till the end.
Such a reaction towards a single attack just before the signing of an agreement displays lack of composure and experience. This even as attacks by the US and their domestic supporters prior martyred hundreds of Afghans and destroyed their assets.
Invitation of a visit to the United States by President Trump was extended by Dr. Zalmay Khalilzad at the end of August and we had put it off until signing of the agreement.
The Islamic Emirate has a solid and unwavering policy. We called for dialogue twenty years earlier and maintain the same stance today and believe America shall return to this position also.
Our previous eighteen-year resistance should have proven to America that we will accept nothing less than the complete end of occupation and allowing Afghans to decide their own fate. And we shall continue our Jihad for this great cause and maintain our strong belief in ultimate victory, Allah willing.

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, while sitting with the Pakistani Prime Minister remarked that he could win the war in Afghanistan by killing ten million Afghans and other such comments.
Trump’s policy that he does not want to play the role of a police officer in Afghanistan and that this war against an entire nation cannot be won so long as they are alive is something positive however his claim that he can wipe out Afghanistan, kill ten million Afghans and win this war through such a method is irresponsible and we condemn it in the strongest terms.
This dream was taken to the grave by Genghis, British and the former Soviet leaders. On the contrary, their Empires were wiped off the face of this earth but the Afghan nation proudly endured and will continue to endure, live and remain proud, Allah willing.
America has never shown restraint in killing the Afghans over the past 18 years and has used all weapons of mass destruction including the Mother Of All Bombs. Yet the 18 years of force proved that the policy of aggression and tyranny is fruitless and demonstrates ignorance regarding why Afghanistan is called the Graveyard of Empires.
We believe that Trump should pay close attention to the actual cause of the problem instead of irresponsible comments and take practical steps towards finding a solution instead of failed policies and impractical hubris.
The believing Afghan nation has upright customs and a clear policy regarding healthy interactions and positive relations therefore it would be wise to focus on finding a peaceful and rational solution and advantage taken of the peaceful negotiation plan offered by the Islamic Emirate that is backed by the entire nation, as acknowledged by yourself.

Over the past few days the American invaders and their domestic allied troops have intensified airstrikes and raids on hospitals and health centers across the country which have resulted in the destruction of multiple clinics as well as martyrdom, injury and detention of many health workers including reputable doctors.
– On Tuesday, combined US and local troops carried out a raid on a vital health clinic that provided services to many people in Tangi valley of Chak district, Maidan Wardak province, during which they martyred 4 individuals including 2 doctors and abducted another.
– A similar raid was carried out on a clinic in Bakwa district center, Farah province, resulting in large part of the facility damaged, all doors and windows broken and all medicine and essentials destroyed.
– A raid was carried out on CHC health clinic in Kajaki district of Helmand province during which the facility was heavily damaged and 2 doctors abducted.
– An ambulance of Babaji clinic in Helmand provincial capital was destroyed with an airstrike.
– Manager (Doctor Gul Ahmad) of Shilgar district Emergency Clinic, Ghazni province, along with another doctor were martyred by a US airstrike.
Moreover, a campaign by Americans and their domestic supporters of systematically targeting hospitals and health clinics is underway in other parts of the country as well.
Health Commission of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan strongly condemns such reckless attacks and deliberate targeting of health centers and considers such actions a war crime and violation of all humanitarian norms.
It calls upon the World Health Organization, humanitarian institutions, right groups and other advocacy agencies to condemn these brutal US actions against health centers in Afghanistan, to launch a comprehensive investigation and prevent such war crimes from reoccurring.

Special Representative of the US State Department and head of negotiation team Khalilzad met with the Political Deputy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and head of the Political Office, the respected Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar.
Views were exchanged about key aspects for a peaceful resolution of the Afghan issue. The Political Deputy of the Islamic Emirate remarked:
It is absolutely vital that the two key agenda points of the previous meeting (full withdrawal of foreign forces from Afghanistan and preventing Afghanistan from harming others) be finalized. This will open the way for resolving other aspects of the issue and we cannot enter into other topics before this. It was affirmed in the meeting that talks shall resume today (Wednesday) and the mentioned points shall be extensively discussed so that an agreement can be reached regarding all issues including the withdrawal of foreign forces.
