New statement from the Muslim Youth Center: "On Abū Manṣūr al-Amrīkī"

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Korogwe (14/09/2013) – MYC in Kenya, Tanzania and Somalia have been following the recent reports in the media regarding the fate of Abu Mansoor Al-Amriki. On immediately hearing the reports, MYC contacted a senior Kenyan Mujahid in Somalia to confirm the accuracy of the reports.  On 13 September 2013, we received a response that strongly suggests the reports of Al-Amriki’s fate are accurate.
For over two years MYC has been a strong critic of Al-Amriki. In this time, we have campaigned for appropriate and swift action against him in his relentless attempt to divide Al-Shabaab and malign our beloved Amir Sheikh Abu Zubeyr (May Allah protect him for the Mujahideen in East Africa).
While many Mujahideen in East Africa will hold strong reservations regarding the reported fate of Al-Amriki, we urge those Mujahideen to fear Allah and honestly reflect on who Al-Amriki was and who he regrettably became during his final days as a member of the “Muhaajireen”. For those that need reminding:
There can be no doubt that Al-Amriki took Hijra to Somalia to carry out Allah’s work in defense of a land under siege by feral Kuffars supported by their apostates helpers. Over the years, with Allah’s blessings he continued to grow in stature amongst the Mujahideen in East Africa and beyond. But with stature comes humility, a virtue that Al-Amriki obviously struggled with until his sad end. Rather than show humility, he embarked on a journey of self-promotion coupled with arrogance that led to insubordination in Al-Shabaab.
At a time when our beloved Amir Sheikh Abu Zubeyr expected members of the Muhaajireen to unite under their shared conviction of defeating the Kuffar in Somalia, Al-Amriki consciously opted to sow discord within the Muhaajireen. Under the pretext of raising concerns over Al-Shabaab’s battle strategy and its overall direction of Jihad in East Africa, Al-Amriki began a personal, bitter and slanderous campaign against the beloved Amir of Al-Shabaab. With slanders to the right of him and unfound allegations to the left of him by Al-Amriki our beloved Amir Sheikh Abu Zubeyr blessed by Allah with patience and wisdom remained silent, composed and focused on Allah’s work of defeating the crusaders in Somalia.
In true Al-Amriki fashion to maintain his public presence, he sent out protests in various forms to the Mujahideen in AQAP and Al Qaeda with one objective: to discredit our humble Amir Abu Zubeyr and thus proving the “protests” and “concerns” were nothing but personal. Not content with the response and counsel from the wise Amirs in AQAP and Al Qaeda, Al-Amriki took to Twitter to entertain Kuffars and apostates alike with rumours and “reports” about “internal discussions” within Al-Shabaab. In an act of desperation, attempts were also made to influence the Mujahideen in East Africa with falsehoods about the situation in Somalia and the Amir of Al-Shabaab.
In the end, Al-Amriki’s road to self-destruction was culminated with him reportedly saying he had severed all links with Al-Shabaab and Al-Qaeda. Such an audacious statement was akin to declaring he intended to betray the Mujahideen in Somalia. Ultimately, betrayal has a price.
In our tweets and official statements we have repeatedly stated that no Mujahid is bigger than Jihad. Regrettably, Al-Amriki was deluded enough to believe his fame, and the respect he commanded would be suffice to make him indispensible when it came to Jihad in Somalia. It came down to Jihad in Somalia or Al-Amriki.
We ask Allah to forgive Abu Mansoor Al-Amriki for his misguidedness and judge him accordingly.

New statement from Ḥarakat al-Shabāb al-Mujāhidīn: "Director of CIA Operations in East Africa Severely Wounded in Martyrdom Operation"

The Mujahideen yesterday carried out a Martyrdom operation targeting a convoy of African Crusaders that was escorting senior US intelligence officials from the airport. The main target of the operation, HSM intelligence department has confirmed, was Gary Schroen, director of CIA operations in East Africa and who was severely wounded in the attack.
Schroen has a long history of waging war against the Mujahideen; he worked as a field officer in Afghanistan and Pakistan before being deployed to Nairobi, Kenya, where he was in charge of coordinating and directing all CIA operations in East Africa, with a particular focus on Somalia. From their office in Mogadishu, Schroen’s unit employed dozens of operatives, conducted surveillance operations and provided intelligence to the African Crusaders.
Schroen was on the radar of the Mujahideen intelligence teams ever since his deployment last year, after his predecessor was also severely wounded in an operation carried out by the Mujahideen in December 2012. The Mujahideen have since then spared no effort to track him down during his stay in Mogadishu and travels to and from Nairobi.
The Martyrdom operation took place shortly after Schroen and his entourage left the airport under heavy security, travelling in a Ugandan convoy of armored personnel carriers. The results of the operation are as follows:
• Four senior Ugandan officers, including the deputy commander of UPDF forces in Somalia, were killed in the attack.
• One of Schroen’s security staff, a US intelligence official, was also killed.
• Three US officials, including Schroen, and one Ugandan officer were seriously wounded.
We ask Allah to accept our brother who carried out this operation and grant him the highest levels of Jannah. On their part, the Mujahideen have renewed their resolve to hunt down all US intelligence teams in Somalia and will continue to send wave upon wave of Martyrdom seekers until the Crusaders and their allies are completely vanquished and the Law off Allah prevails over the land

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله ، أود توضيح بعض الأمور حول تغريداتي الأخيرة بخصوص نصرة الإخوة في حركة الشباب المجاهدين في الصومال.

أولاً أشهد الله وملائكتك وعباده الصادقين أني لا ولم اتحيز في حياتي وكتاباتي إلا للحق منذ بدأت أكتب وأنصر هذا الدين،فلا انتماء لي لجماعة أو طائفة إلا لجماعات الحق أينما وجدت 

لا اتحيز إلا للحق ولا اتعصب إلا له ولنصرة دين الله عز وجل،وأنا ناصر ومؤيد لكل من يحمل هم نصرة دين الله دون الأشخاص والشارات والمناهج. 

العبد الضعيف منتمي لكل جماعة تنصر دين الله وتسعى لتجسيده عملاً على أرض الواقع قبل أن تتحدث به علماً ومنهجاً ومبدءاً.

وعليه فإن كل المؤمنين الموحدين المجاهدين بأيديهم وألسنتهم إخواني وأدين الله بحبهم والتقرب إلى الله بخدمتهم ونصرتهم.

أما بشأن التغريدات الأخيرة لنصرة الشباب المجاهدين في الصومال،فلم يكن يدور في خلدي الإشارة إلى اشخاص معينين أو طائفة محددة والله يشهد بهذا 

كانت تغريداتي عامة وعبارة عن توجيهات ونصائح وما ادين الله به بخصوص شروط وتبعات العمل الجماعي منضبطا بالشرع الحنيف

كان كلامي نصحاً وتحذيرا من شق الصف المجاهد خاصة خلال مرحلة الجهاد،فنحن في جبهة قتالية ولا يجوز التفرق وإحداث الفتنة في الصف

حذرت ايضا من مغبة عصيان الأمير خلال فترة الجهاد، وتغليب مصلحة الجماعة وضرورة مواصلة الجهاد والقتال على المصالح الأخرى ما لم تكن منكرا

الشدة على من يشهر بأخطاء الجماعة وقادتها على العلن،لأن هذا من شأنه أن يضعف الصف المجاهد ويرجح كفة الأعداء علينا

اضافة إلى زرع الفتنة بين الجنود وما يترتب على ذلك من مفاسد كثيرة وكبيرة أقلها زعزعة ثقة الجند بقادتهم وتحريضهم على العصيان ثم ترك الصف. 

بقدر ما أيدت قيادة الشباب المجاهدين على ضرورة الحفاظ على الصف والشدة مع من يصر على شق الصف، بقدر ما دعوتهم الى تقوى الله

ودعوتهم الى تحري الشرع والوقوف عنده في معالجة الأمور، فلا ينبغي ان يفهم كلامي على أنه دعوة إلى سفك دم المخالف

سفك دم المخالف ليست من شيم القادة الصادقين،ولكن حينما يتعلق الأمر بمن يريد الفتنة ويسعى الى أضعاف الصف فالأمر يختلف

الجماعة لديها مجلس شورى من العلماء وأهل الرأي،ويرجع اليهم الأمير في الفصل في أمر التعامل مع كل انواع المخالفين

مصلحة الجهاد والحفاظ على لحمة التجمع هي المصلحة الأرجح التي ينبغي تحقيقها ما لم يتحقق ذلك بمخالفة الشرع،واللجوء الى القوة في فصل الخلاف هو الحل الأخير 

حينما اتحدث عن تصفية الصف المجاهد ممن لا يصلح أو يسعى الى التثبيط أو تأخير مسيرة الجهاد فإني لا اقصد سفك الدماء بل ابعادهم عن مواقع المسئولية وان اقتضت الضرورة طردهم من الصف

هناك بعض العناصر الذين لا خلاق لهم ويأبون إلا أن يزرعوا الفتن بين المؤمنين حتى لو كان لهم ماض جهادي يُذكر فإنه لا يشفع لهم ما داموا مصرين على افساد ذات البين، وهؤلاء من وصفت كلامهم بالنباح.

أما كلام الذين يخالفون القيادة ولم يسعوا أو يساهموا في زرع الفتنة وشق الصف فإن كلامهم يرد عليه بكلام موازي ومدعم بالأدلة الشرعية لعلهم يرجعون، وأذكر ان القيادة ليست مطلوبة بأن تكشف كل ما خفي على هؤلاء

هناك اسرار وأمور خاصة يدخرها الأمير لنفسه ولمجلس الشورى المقرب أو لمن هم أهل لذلك أو من هو موكل بتلك الأمور وليس من حق أحد طلب الاطلاع عليها

ما زلت أدعو وآمل أن تطرح المشاكل والخلافات بين الإخوة داخل الصف، وما لم تُشهر خارجه فإن حلها يظل سهلاً وفي المتناول، بخلاف إذا انتشرت بسبب تشهير المخالفين لها

وأملي أن تجد هذه الكلمات طريقا لها الى قلوب إخواننا ليسارعوا إلى حل الخلافات وإيجاد الحلول التي تخدم الصف المجاهد،ولا ينسوا أنهم على ثغور القتال 

اقول ما تسمعون واستغفر الله لما أخطأت فيه أو زللت فيه بسبب نفسي القاصرة أو الشيطان أو ما فهمه البعض خطأ أو ما لم أوفق لبيانه بسبب ضعفي وتقصيري.
