New statement from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: "Response Regarding Rumors Published by 'The Daily Beast'"

A couple of days earlier, a western newspaper ‘The Daily Beast’ published a fabricated and unfounded report in which it stated that may Allah forbid, that the esteemed Amir-ul-Mumineen (Commander of Faithful) has either died or is affected by some illness.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan strongly and categorically rejects these repeated rumors and propaganda attempts of the enemy and believes it to be from another one of their failed efforts. Such irresponsible talks and rumors will never negatively effect the morale of the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate and the muslim Afghan nation as is hoped by the enemy.
The esteemed Amir ul Muminee, with help of Almighty Allah and backing of his Momin nation, has been able to wage a courageous and successful Jihad against half a million soldiers of 49 invading nation and their puppets for the past eleven years. So naturally, the flailing enemy in going to exert even more efforts to raise the spirit of its morale-lacking troops and disappointed war generals but the Islamic Emirate wants to comfort its Mujahideen and nation and tells them to not worry about at all about the esteemed Amir-ul-Mumineen; All praise are due to Allah, he is in living freely and is in good health and regularly issues verbal and written orders to the officials of Islamic Emirate.
We believe that publishing such fabrications will only further damage the reputation of those controlled media outlets which repeatedly spread such baseless rumors and white lies and will only raise more questions about their partiality and freedom.

Unlike other actors in the current Syrian conflict, gaining access to Jihadists is fraught with security concerns on all sides.
Broadly, a “Jihadist” is a Sunni Muslim pan-Islamist who subscribes to a worldview that taking part in a violent, military holy war, or Jihad, in the name of Islam is the best means for bringing about the end to “apostate” regimes. The Jihadists then aim to replace these governments with ones that administer Islamic Shariah law based on their interpretation. While Jihadists have been most associated with al-Qaeda over the past decade, not all Jihadists are al-Qaeda and not all Jihadists agree with its global focus even if there is some ideological overlap.
For journalists and researchers, there is hesitation about coming into contact with Jihadists, due to the potential of kidnap or even execution. For Jihadists, concerns over operational security and the potential for infiltration and espionage has loomed large when meeting unknown outsiders.
But there is another way to understand them, and gain access to the Jihadist mindset, conversations and ideology: the Internet. Jihadists provide extensive information about themselves in online forums, on websites and social media platforms — information that can be used to better understand their ideological debates as well as the activities they are conducting on the ground.
The Syrian case is no different. The changes in focus and messaging over time helps one better understand how Jihadists entered the conflict and how far they have come in the past 19 months.

New statement from Ghorfah Minbar al-Anṣār: "On the Departure of the Commander and Scholar From the Flag of Jihād Mu'iz al-Gharsālawī al-Qayrawānī"

السّلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
بسم الله الرّحمن الرّحيم
قال تعالى : (وَلاَ تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ أَمْوَاتاً بَلْ أَحْيَاء عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ (169) فَرِحِينَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَيَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَلْحَقُواْ بِهِم مِّنْ خَلْفِهِمْ أَلاَّ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ (170) يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِنِعْمَةٍ مِّنَ اللّهِ وَفَضْلٍ وَأَنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (171))
كان له السبقُ في كلِّ خير ، عرفناه من خلف الكيبوردات ، غيوراً على دينه وعلى إسلامه مُحباً للجهاد والمجاهدين ، مُحَرِضاً لإخوانه ، لم يترك ساحةً إلا وعملَ بها ، فكم نصر إخوانه بنفسه وماله ، ثم قدّم نفسه رخيصةً في سبيل الله على ثُرى أفغانستان الطاهرة مُقبلاً غير مدبر، اغتالته أيدي جبانة حاقدة قصفاً مع زمرةٍ من صحبه وإخوانه ،
كانت لنا معه صحبةٌ وزمالةٌ في العمل الجهادي الإعلامي أذكره من خلالها فقد كان مشرفاً في غرفة منبر الأنصار منذ نشأتها الأولى وكانت له حوارات جميلة دافع فيها عن الجهاد وأهله ، ذبَّ من خلالها عن المجاهدين ، وتطورت معه الفكرة فأسس الشبكات الإعلامية الجهادية اذ كان مبرمجاً متقناً لعمله اضافةً لعضويته في الجبهة الاعلامية ، وكان من نتاج عمله منبر أهل السنة والجماعة – ذو اللوحة القرميدية الجميلة – تميز به حتى في منظره ، وكم كان له من جهود وخدمة لدين الله ولكنه تحمل تكاليف ذلك ، اذ اعتقلته السلطات السويسرية وصادرت أجهزته الحاسوبية وابتُليَ فترةً من الزمن . – كتب الله له أجرها وأجْزَلَهُ ثَوَابَها – .
ولم تكن هذه وحدها لمعز – تقبله الله – فقد كان من أول المستقبلين في بلجيكا للأخت مليكة العرود أم عبيدة – فك الله اسرها -على إثر ترحيلها بعد مقتل زوجها عبدالستار الدحمان الذي كان له السبق في اغتيال عدو الله وعدوّ الاسلام أحمد شاه مسعود –شوّهه الله في نار جهنم- . ووقف بجانبها في محنتها ثم تزوج منها وأنجب ، نسأل الله أن يحفظ أهله وذريته وأن يفك أسرَ زوجهُ فهي معتقلة في بلجيكا على اثر قضية تهريب الأخ نزار طرابلسي .
هذا هو الأسد معز القيرواني ، عُرف بهذا الاسم (القيرواني) أو (جند الخلافة ) إلا أن القيرواني أقدم في الشبكات الجهادية منذ نشأتها فلم يكتف بدور المجاهد الإعلامي ولا شك أنه على ثغر فعَلِمَ أن المطلوب منه أسمى من ذلك وأكبر فلبى النداء لساحات الجهاد وكان أميرا لجند الخلافة في ساحات العزة بأرض خراسان الأبية فعقد الكثير من الدورات الميدانية العسكرية ، فكانت حياته شعلةً من النشاط والحركة فلله رده من أسدٍ عامل .
إلا أن القيرواني عاش غريباً ومات غريباً فطوبى لغربةٍ كللتها الشهادة بعد حياة بالجهاد حافلةً عامرة ، لقد شهد له من عمل معه في الشبكات الاعلامية الجهادية أنه نِعْمَ الأخ ونعم الصديق ، وكان البعض يتحدث معه الساعات الطوال لِيُرشده على أمر أو يعلِّمه شيئاَ فلم يُعهد عليه أنه كلّ أو ملّ ، لا زلنا نذكره ونتصاغر أمام همته ، فما هو إلا كنجمٍ علا في الأفق واستمكن وأنار للسائرين دربهم .
أذكر مرةَ أن شين الشياطين – زين العابدين – أرسل زبانيته لاستجواب أبيه في تونس على إثر اعتقال معز في سويسرا عام (2005) ، فقلت له يومها : اذن لا رجعة الى تونس بعد اليوم ، فأجابني على الفور ، ومن قال أني سأعود ؟ وإن عُدتُ فلن أعود إلا على ظهر دبابة . هذه هيَ الهمم التي تسير نحو القمم ولا ترضى أن تعيش بين الغنم . فرحمك الله يا قيرواني وأعلا درجاتك في الجنان بصحبة النبيين والصديقيين ورفقة الحور الحسان . 

للقيرواني هذه الأبيات استنهض بها الهمم

نطق الشعر كالسنان بلسانِ ******** الباكـــي غير معقود
على القيرواني يوم علا المجد ******** وتعالى بفخرٍ مسوود
بِدمعٍ جودي يا عيــــــــــــنُ ********* لا فرحَ وكدٌّ مكـــدود
إنما فاتنا جــــــــهاده وسبقٌ******** وليس ما فات بمردود
وحال الصناديدِ للورى والأشجعُ******** أسبقٌ والغيرُ مـمـدود
وما شهدنا إلا بما علمنا يا معزُّ********* وإنك غائبٌ لك شهود
كنتَ خِلّي والنتُ شاهــــــــــــدٌ****** وعهداً أمسـى مفـقود
يا قيروانيُّ ما نحن إلا إلى ****** أجلٍ نغدو ونعــــــود
يا قيروانيُّ مقاديرٌ كنَّ على******** الأنام والرِّفدُ مرفــــود
يا قيروانيُّ أمسيت مع من ********* بذكراهم لاح فيحُ الخلود
عزامَ والزرقاوي وأسامة********** وتطول وليس حداً محدود
فأمريكا ربةُ الكفر والطغيانِ******* بأيديكم خارت فِعلاً محمود
وتوالت عليها الهزائم من كل********* صَوْبٍ فطاب لها القـعـود
كيف والأشاوس عليها احكموا******* الدرع بعقدٍ مع الله معقود
فلله درُّك يا قيرواني اذ كنت ******** من ثلةٍ بذكرها نشْرُ العود
ولِما تركت من خيــــــــــرٍ********* على الطريقِ برقاً ممدود
فحرُّ القلب يبكي شكايةَ الورى******* من فوات الشهد المشهود
ويفرحُ للقيرواني على ما نالَ********* من شهادةٍ لها الكل مهدود
إنّي لَبَاكٍ على عجزي ********* وتقصيرٍ فيما هو موعود
هل يَذْكُرُني القيرواني بشفاعةٍ******* يوم العرضِ الــمـــورود
وأُقسمُ أن لا أنفك عن عهدك************* غايةً وجِدّاً مــجــــــدود
ويا قومِ أقلوا من اللوم وجِداً******** لسدادِ ثغرٍ وحمىً مقصود
واغدوا على درب القيرواني ********* فالعهدُ بالسيرِ لا الوعـود
