New statement from Ḥarakat al-Shabāb al-Mujāhidīn: "Extradition of Abū Qatādah is a Travesty of Justice"

NOTE: This is the third statement from al-Qā’idah on Abū Qatādah’s potential extradition. The first two were from al-Qā’idah in Pakistan and al-Qā’idah in Iraq.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم 
الحمد لله وحده أعز جنده ونصر عبده وهزم الأحزاب وحده والصلاة والسلام على من لا نبي بعده أما بعد:Mogadishu (16/04/2012) – The decision taken by the British government to extradite Sheikh Abu Qatada, May Allah protect him, to Jordan – a country notorious for its deplorable treatment of prisoners and use of torture chambers for interrogation – is a travesty of justice and epitomises the iniquities of the western justice system.After years of limiting his freedom of movement and the right to freely express his opinions or conduct sermons, the British government remains determined to hand over the Sheikh to the Jordanian authorities, in an action that appallingly endorses the injustices and inhumane treatment of prisoners of that apostate regime. The Sheikh, though not charged with anything, has been imprisoned and subjected to punitive control orders for simply exercising his freedom of speech by a government that hypocritically denunciates other nations for restricting freedom of speech whilst itself violating the very values it claims to promote. If unable to tolerate the truth honestly articulated by Sheikh Abu Qatada in his speeches, the British government must allow the Sheikh to relocate to any other destination of his preference, particularly now with the emergence of a host of Arab Spring nations. Harakat Al-Shabaab Al Mujahideen hereby warns the British government that it will be held accountable for the consequences of its actions should Britain – under any justification – proceed with the extradition of Sheik Abu Qatada to Jordan. The British public is also forewarned that it will be the British government, as a result of its imprudence, that shall be liable for any disaster that befalls them, or their national interests. اللهم منزل الكتاب مجري السحاب هازم الأحزاب، اهزم الصليبيين ومن حالفهم من المرتدين.
اللهم اجعلهم وعتادهم غنيمة للمسلمين.
اللهم دمّرهم و زلزلهم.
اللهم أنت عضدنا وأنت نصيرنا،اللهم بك نصول وبك نجول وبك نقاتل.
