New statement from Ḥarakat al-Shabāb al-Mujāhidīn: "The Successful Launch of Al-Katāi'b News Channel and Broadcasting the Video about the CIA Agent"

The Successful Trial Broadcast of Al-Kataa’ib News Channel and a Video of a CIA Agent
All praise be to Allah, the Lord of al that exists. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet, Muhammad, and upon all his family and companions. To proceed:
Al-Kataa’ib Media of the Mujahideen Youth Movement would like to give their glad tidings to Muslims everywhere of the successful trial broadcast of Al-Kataa’ib News Channel. This successful broadcast is a huge and innovative step in Mujahideen Media in general and in Somalia in specific. It can also be regarded as a huge defeat for the Sherif government, as they have no TV channel of their own. We present this good news to you after the channel has been successfully airing on a trial basis for five days, and all praise is due to Allah.
The first video to be aired on the channel was the latest release of Al-Kataa’ib Media, featuring the filmed confessions of one of the most dangerous spies in Somalia, known as Ahmed Kisi, who was executed earlier this week in Maslah Square in Huriwaa. Kisi had been working for the CIA since 2004 north of the Mogadishu capital. His execution was a huge strike against his recruitment activities in Djibouti, as he himself confessed. It should be mentioned that Ahmed Kisi was regarded as a key member of the group called Al-Itisam. Allah willing, the confessions of this spy will be soon be released on the internet.

تزف مؤسسة الكتائب التابعة لحركة الشباب المجاهدين إلى المسلمين في كل مكان بشرى نجاح بث قناة الكتائب الإخبارية الأرضي، ويمثل نجاح البث قفزة إعلامية متقدمة في المجال الإعلامي للمجاهدين عموما وخاصة في الصومال، كما يعد هزيمة إعلامية لحكومة شريف التي لا تمتلك تلفزيونا لها، ويأتي هذا البيان بعد دخول البث التجريبي يومه الخامس بنجاح باهر.
وكان أول فلم يتم بثه على القناة هو إصدار جديد لمؤسسة الكتائب، والفلم عبارة عن تسجيل اعترافات لأحد أخطر الجواسيس في الصومال وهو المدعو (أحمد كيسي) الذي تم إعدامه في أول هذا الأسبوع في ساحة “مصلح ” بمحافظة هروا شمال العاصمة مقديشو، ويعد إعدام كيسي ضربة قوية لـ CIA في الصومال، حيث كان كيسي يعمل لديهم منذ عام 2004 بعد تجنيده في جيبوتي كما اعترف هو بذلك، وجدير بالذكر أن أحمد كيسي يعتبر من الأعضاء البارزين في جماعة الاعتصام, وجدير بالذكر أنه سيتم لاحقاً بإذن الله نشر اعترافات الجاسوس على شبكة الإنترنت .

NOTE: It should be noted that this is not an official al-Qā’idah message, rather this is from a splinter group that disagreed with Ayman aẓ-Ẓawāhirī’s decision to merge his group with AQ.
This message was emailed to the al-Maqrīzī Center for Historical Studies by Thirwat Ṣaliḥ Shaḥātah. The Egyptian Islamic Jihād (EIJ) has its origins going back to the 70s and was originally called Tanẓīm al-Jihād. Tanẓīm al-Jihād was responsible for the assassination of former Egyptian President Anwar al-Sādāt. Following that there was a large crackdown and following some time in jail Ẓawāhirī reconstructed the group as the EIJ in the late 1980s. EIJ officially merged with al-Qā’idah Central in June 2001, but many members defected because they disagreed with the decision.
The below message states their solidarity with the uprising in Egypt. And that they understand the brutal nature of the regime due to their long time suffering in Egyptian prisons. EIJ calls on the military to take the side of freedom and turn their back on the regime to let the people be free. Interestingly, they do not call for jihād in Egypt, but rather this message deals more with solidarity. That said, to date there is no evidence that EIJ or AQ have had anything to do with these protests.

New statement from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: "Destruction of Trees Will Not Turn American Defeat into Victory"

Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the fake and phony parliament on 26th January, Karzai, the Head of the Kabul stooge Administration brazenly defended American drive of cutting down thousands of trees in Ghazni province. This he said besides his other pro-American sycophant remarks. According to him, the Taliban have to be blamed for the destruction of the trees not the Americans because they ambush the Americans from there, firing at them.
The Americans had no way except resorting to bombardment or cutting down trees and orchards. In short, Karzai was trying to convince that the Taliban and the Afghans should keep away from any action that harms the Americans. In another word, according to Karzai, the Americans have right to kill the Afghans in their own country, huts, fields and destroy their plantations.
If Karzai had reached the corridors of the presidential palace on the mandate of the Afghan people or if his parliament had been composed of pious and patriotic representatives, enjoying votes of the majority of the Afghans, then Karzai would not have delivered such a speech being fraught with anti-patriotic wordings and void of any qualms. Nor the members of the parliament would ever have listened to his imbalanced and partial address.
It is obvious that Karzai was installed by the same elements whose every crime and atrocity he defends today, ironically in a broad day light. He acquiesces in giving right to his Master ( the Americans) to destroy fields, orchards and plantations of the Afghans so that the Americans are not attacked or fired at, allegedly from behind them. Members of the Kabul parliament do not dare put up protest or raise voice against the anti-Afghan assertions of Karzai because they themselves reached the parliament after American consent and scrutiny, with provisions that they would never come in the way of American interests, nor oppose American occupation of Afghanistan and presence of their troops there.
Could there be any other proof clearer than this that Karzai was pointing to the parliamentarian elections as being marred by fraud and rigging just hours before the inauguration of the parliament. He had constituted a special court to carry out investigation into the elections’ fraud and assured about 300 failed candidates that he was not going to open the new parliament until and unless the special court unveils its findings and pass decisions thereabout. But when American ambassador in Kabul, Eikenberry, and American commander, Petreous decided that there should not be any more delay in the opening of the parliament, then Karzai left the failed candidates in Salam Khana mansion at the presidential palace. He promptly reverted from his previous stand, hurriedly racing to open the parliament.
In the eye of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Karzai’s endeavor to entitle the foreign invading troops to cut down trees and instead, level the blame against the Mujahideen, only contributes to displaying his boot-licking mentality and of his parliament. Apart from this, it doesn’t deliver any message!
The Afghans know, the invading troops do wipe out whole villages and localities with impunity on mere allegations and pretexts whenever they intent to do so. They kill old men, children, women and old women. In their eyes, destruction of orchards, fields and standing plantations is not a crime!
If Karzai think that he will terrorize the Afghan people by inculcating into their minds that the Americans would destroy orchards and fields unless you do not abandon support of the Taliban. We think this devilish ploy by Karzai and the Americans will only lead to creating more hatred and resentments among the Afghans against the invaders and their supporters. Nothing else it will yield, apart from this. The Afghans are ready to defend their country and religious values even at the price of their lives, let alone sacrificing their properties and wealth.

A’ûdhu Billah min Ash-Shaytân Ar-Rajîm. Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim, Al-hamdu lillahi rabbil ‘alamin, wa Salat wa Salam ala Nabiyina Muhammad, wa ala Ahlihi wa Sahabihi Ajma’in ! I seek refuge in Allah, from Satan the accursed. In the name of Allah, the Merciful, Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and compagnons.
“If you’re Muslim, you must understand that winning or losing depends only from Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, the Creator of all things, the Mighty, the Wise!”
Allah is the Creator of heaven and earth, to Him belongs the dominion, He gives life and death, only Him is worthy to be feared! He created man, granted him reason, He submitted to him the mountains, seas, oceans, and he is happy with it. He granted him subsistence, enriched the earth with various fruits and man loves the sweetnesses of this life! He gave a heart that feels joy, sorrow, love and man saw no sense in living without these feelings. Nobody knows man better than his Creator, He said: «Verily my mercy overcomes my anger!» (Hadith from Sahih Bukhari Volume 9, Book 93, Number 501). He did not missed anything, He gave everything man needed for this life! And suddenly we see him ungrateful, arguing about the signs of Allah, a stubborn man who rejected his Lord, using the benefits of this life against his own Creator. But Allah said «Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity […]». (Surat Al-Baqarah : 286) And He said: «O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous. [He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allah equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him]. And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah , if you should be truthful. But if you do not – and you will never be able to – then fear the Fire, whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers». (Surat Al-Baqarah : 21-24) The desire to acquire wealth and the fear of the enemy are two characteristics which are the reasons why the people stray from the straight path. As for those who are dazzled by the wealth of worldly life, Allah said: «And present to them the example of the life of this world, [its being] like rain which We send down from the sky, and the vegetation of the earth mingles with it and [then] it becomes dry remnants, scattered by the winds. And Allah is ever, over all things, Perfect in Ability». (Surat Al-Kahf : 45)
 A man who believes in Allah, performs Namaz (prayer), but when Allah is testing him to see his sincerity by enemies (1), who began to fight against him, [then] because of his fear, he is ready to submit to the giaours (the infidels). If he sees that the believers prevail, he says: I’m with you believers, I’m with you. What is the position of this man before Allah? Allah said: «And of the people are some who say, “We believe in Allah ,” but when one [of them] is harmed for [the cause of] Allah , they consider the trial of the people as [if it were] the punishment of Allah . But if victory comes from your Lord, they say, “Indeed, We were with you.” Is not Allah most knowing of what is within the breasts of all creatures?» (Surat Al-`Ankabūt : 10)
 There is no doubt that fear is experienced by all people. Fear is a feeling that Allah has bestowed upon mankind, so people are afraid of Him alone, and [so they] do not transgress the laws which He established on this earth. However the people also use their fear [as an excuse] before those who have only a temporary authority, before the negligible people who are not afraid of their Lord and who decided to replace His laws, by their laws, and called it the “world order”. For what reasons the laws of Russia are established in our land?! We are fighting against them because they decided that they were “smarter” than the Creator of heaven and earth, because they overthrew his laws, and established defective and fictional laws invented by fools who decided that they could remain unpunished for such acts. They fight against us, saying that they fight against wickedness and to establish order, but Allah said: «And when it is said to them, “Do not cause corruption on the earth,” they say, “We are but reformers.” Unquestionably, it is they who are the corrupters, but they perceive [it] not. And when it is said to them, “Believe as the people have believed,” they say, “Should we believe as the foolish have believed?” Unquestionably, it is they who are the foolish, but they know [it] not.» (Surat Al-Baqarah : 11-13) O Muslims, o our brothers and sisters, o people who consider yourselves as a part of the Ummah of Muhammad, peace be upon him, we are from among you! Here, there are people who are ready to defend you, by their blood! Why do you turn away from the people among you, who have not recognized fear, and who go to die for the sake of truth, to defend the honor of the Islamic Ummah in violent battles with the disbelievers?! Are you not you tired to invent reasons to blame us, only to protect yourselves from the evil of the giaours? How many lives they’ve [already] ruined! What they yet must inflict on you, so that you change your minds? You are wasting irreplaceable moments of this life in empty speeches, watching TV shows and movies. You are afraid of the giaours and you want to protect yourselves and your families from their evil, but they already killed you! Their propaganda has [already] subjugated your hearts! You seek the favors of the disbelievers through (2) the wrath of Allah, and Allah will give you something which you aspire. But is fear will be an excuse to justify yourselves [of your submission to the disbelievers], before Allah on the Day of Jugement? Allah said: «Indeed, those whom the angels take [in death] while wronging themselves – [the angels] will say, “In what [condition] were you?” They will say, “We were oppressed in the land.” The angels will say, “Was not the earth of Allah spacious [enough] for you to emigrate therein?” For those, their refuge is Hell – and evil it is as a destination.» (Surat An-Nisā’ : 97) Yes, we are few, and it is one of the reasons of your fear. The enemies are many and they are everywhere, but if Allah was not on our side, then there would be no Mujahideen – whose aim is to seek His favors. How many times in the Muslim history, numerically small groups of Mujahideen defeated the giaours armies?! If you are Muslim, you must understand that winning or losing depends only from Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, the Creator of all things, the Mighty, the Wise! Know that the worldly life is just like a glow, it sparkles like a ring. In contact with the sunlight there is a flash and then it goes out. A glow and then it goes out. It’s very quick, isn’t it? This moment (this life) will pass and we will bear [our deeds] on our shoulders, and only imperishable good deeds will be beneficial before our Lord! So, invoke Allah, by saying:“O Allah, Lord of Jibril, Mika’il, and Israfil, Bringer of the heavens and the earth into being, Knower of the unseen and visible, it is You who judges between Your slaves concerning the things about which they disagree. Guide us to the truth in respect of the things about which there is disagreement by Your permission. You guide whomever You will to a straight path.” A qulu qauli Hada, wa astaghfiru wa Aley wa Lyakum, fa staghfiruhu atubu ileyk, innahu hu al-Ghafur ur-Rahim! Al-hamdu lillahi rabbil ‘alamin!
