New statement from Hay’at Taḥrīr al-Shām: “Clarification on the Reasons For the Release of Tawqīr Sharīf (Abū Ḥusām al-Brīṭānī)”

وجاء في البيان الذي نشره المكتب :”قرر القضاء مساء اليوم الأربعاء الإفراج عن “توقير شريف”، جاء ذلك بعد توقيفه للمرة الثانية بعد الإخلال بشروط الكفالة، حيث مثل أمام القضاء خلال الفترة السابقة وتم الحكم عليه بمدة 6 أشهر بعد إدانته بالتهم بالموجهة إليه”.
وأضاف :”وبعد صدور الحكم وانقضاء نصف المدة طالب مجموعة من الوجهاء بالشفاعة والإفراج عنه بكفالة، وبعد نظر القضاء قرر الحكم بإطلاق سراحه بشروط”.
وبين أن الشروط تتلخص في عدم الخوض في قضايا الخلاف الداخلي بين مكونات الثورة بمختلف تخصصاتها والابتعاد عنها سلبا وإيجابا، بالإضافة لعدم استخدام أموال الإغاثة والعمل الإنساني في أجندات شخصية, أو التواصل مع شخصيات مطلوبة للقضاء أو للأمن.
