al-Katāi'b Media presents a new statement from Ḥarakat al-Shabāb al-Mujāhidīn: "London Conference Aimed at Carving Up the Somalia Nation"

Mogadishu 23/02/2012 – Somalis have a long history of repelling invasion of all kinds and the London conference is not in any way different from the various other conferences aimed at bolstering the invading African forces that are prolonging the instability in Somalia.
The Muslims of Somalia must understand that the signatories to the London Conference do not hold the keys to the future or the stability of Somalia and should, therefore, categorically all mandates and constitutions prepared in foreign countries under the deceptive notion of restoring lasting peace.
With more than a dozen Christian nations mounting a concerted Crusade against the Muslims of Somalia, we, the leaders of Harakat Al-Shabaab Al Mujahideen, hereby reaffirm our position that we will not under any circumstances allow any form of foreign intervention to be used as an instrument to subjugate the Muslims of Somalia and that we will confront and counter, by any means possible, all the outcomes of the London Conference.
Britain already provides military advice and training to the African invaders and now with the increased support from Britain in the form of logistical support as well as financial aid, we will see to it that the’ coordinated approach’ proposed by Britain does not succeed under the current conditions in Somalia and the delusory attempts aimed at carving up the Somali nation do not materialize.
We now stand more defiant, more stronger and more determined in the face of this imperialistic campaign. We will not, at any point in time, compromise on our beliefs and our goals of establishing governance according to Islamic Shari’ah in our country in preparation for the imminent Islamic Khilaafa and we will wage war against the Western crusade until the Truth of Tawheed emerges triumphant over the falsehood of the Christian-Zionist Crusade.

As-Sahab Media have conveyed a few days ago a glad tiding to the Islamic Ummah, which the glad tiding of Harakat Al-Shabaab Al-Mujahideen giving Bayaa to Qaedat Al-Jihad, to declare after that that the mujahidin in Somalia have joined their brothers in Qaedat Al-Jihad organization to be one army that fights for the sake of Allah, and to make the word of Allah the highest. The prophet peace and blessings of Allah be upon him said: ‘The one who fights so that Word of Allah be exalted, is the one who fights in the Cause of Allah’.
The Bayaa have come in a time when the Islamic Ummah is in desperate need for unity, community and unification of the forces for the sake of rising in the face of the enemies of Allah who have united in their goal and are lurking towards Islam from all directions.
And since unity is a required matter and Islam have encouraged it and made it from the reasons that make Allah loves the slave, the Almighty says: (Surely Allah loves those who fight in His way in ranks as if they were a firm and compact wall) 4 Surah As-Saff. Your brothers in Harakat Al-Shabaab Al-Mujahideen raced to this image which is loved by Allah for the believers and is hated by the Kuffar, for the sake of strengthening the power of the Muslims and to hold their ranks together and liberate the occupied lands and retrieve the plundered rights and the establishment of a righteous Islamic Khilafah on the approach of the prophecy.
We in this place send special thanks to our Amir, sheikh Dr. Aymen Al-Zawahiri may Allah preserve him, for his efforts in uniting the armies of the Ummah under one banner, so may Allah reward him for the Ummah of Islam all the goodness, and write the reward for him, and give him victory over his enemies, and bless for him and his brothers the mujahidin in everywhere this Bayaa, and ask Allah for this year to be the year of the community for all the other mujahid groups to fight in the army of the Ummah under one banner.
Here are with the grace of Allah Almighty ten Islamic Wilayat with its people, Amirs, soldiers and all its civil and military institutions which extend on most of southern Somalia under one Emirate of our sheikh Dr. Aymen Al-Zawahiri may Allah preserve him and pave the way for the blessed Khilafah.
So congratulations to you O’ Ummah of Islam and have glad tiding of a new dawn, when your sons will unit and fight for the sake of Allah everywhere like a firm and compact wall, and be prepared because the time of oppression will go and it will be replaced by light, goodness and justice, though the unbelievers may be averse.
Also we cannot fail to remind the sons of our beloved Islamic Ummah, that the only way of salvation from the enemies of Allah and their control and oppression in our time is by jihad for the sake of Allah, it is the most profitable trade and the shortest way to Jannah, it’s the way of pride and success, so the ranks have united and it has been called for ‘Come to jihad’, so why stay behind, the Almighty says: (not alike among you are those who spent before the victory and fought (and those who did not): they are more exalted in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards; and Allah has promised good to all; and Allah is Aware of what you do) 10 Surah Al-Hadid.
The stage which the Ummah is passing through now require from every Muslim individual to be aware of its essence and realize his role in its consistency and steadfast, and work hard to support the Jihadi work and spend his money and soul until this believing group triumphs and the word of Allah the highest.
And we say to our brothers the mujahidin in Qaedat Al-Jihad wherever they are and where they exist, (O you who believe! be patient and excel in patience and remain steadfast, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, that you may be successful) 200 Surah Aal-e-Imran, and we are continuing with you on the pledge until Allah gives us victory and wipe out the Kuffar.
As for you enemies of Islam, the sword is between us and you so wait from us what you hate and breaks your hopes, return to our glorious history maybe you get a lesson from it, Allah Almighty says: (Allah has promised to those of you who believe and do good that He will most certainly make them rulers in the earth as He made rulers those before them, and that He will most certainly establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them, and that He will most certainly, after their fear, give them security in exchange; they shall serve Me, not associating aught with Me; and whoever is ungrateful after this, these it is who are the. Transgressors) 55 Surah An-Noor.

الحمد لله وحده أعز جنده ونصر عبده وهزم الأحزاب وحده والصلاة والسلام على من لا نبي بعده أما بعد:في منتصف الليلة الماضية شنت كتيبة تابعة لجيش العسرة في ولاية بنادر الإسلامية عملية نوعية على مركز عسكري للمرتدين في سوق “بكاره”، وأسفرت هذه العملية النوعية عن مقتل 6 من المرتدين على الأقل، ويقع تقاطع “بار أوبح” عند سوق بكاره- وهو الموقع الذي وقع فيه الهجوم – خلف خطوط القتال للعدو، وبعد العملية أختفى المجاهدون وتواروا عن الأنظار ولم يجد لهم الكفار أي أثر، وقد أصابت هذه العملية العدو بنوع من التوتر فمع الصباح بدأ المرتدون في حملة اعتقالات في المناطق القريبة من التقاطع واعتقلوا قرابة المائة من الشباب، وتأتي هذه العملية تأكيدا على أن المجاهدين لم ينسحبوا من مقديشو. اللهم منزل الكتاب مجري السحاب هازم الأحزاب، اهزم الصليبيين ومن حالفهم من المرتدين.

Detonation of a Car Bomb Within the Rapporteur Affiliated to the Council Investigation for the Police of Apostasy:

A Consultative Meeting with the Traders in the States of Banaadir and Lower Shabelle:

الحمد لله وحده أعز جنده ونصر عبده وهزم الأحزاب وحده والصلاة والسلام على من لا نبي بعده أما بعد: عقدت حركة الشباب المجاهدين لقاءاً تشاوريا مع تجار ولاية بنادر الإسلامية وولاية شبيلى السفلى الإسلامية، وتم اللقاء بحضور مسؤولين من الحركة وجمع من العلماء والتجار، وقد تناول اللقاء كيفية تطوير التجارة في الصومال وحمايتها من مخططات العدو الخارجية والداخلية، وقد تطرق الشيخ علي محمود راجي أثناء حديثه للحضور عن الحرب التجارية الجديدة بعد فشل مشروع الهيئات، وتحدث الشيخ أيضا عن الدور والمخطط التركي الجديد في الصومال حيث تسعى الحكومة التركية إلى السيطرة على التجارة والموارد في الصومال واستثمار الأموال التي جمعت لمساعدة الشعب الصومالي، وخاصة في جانب المواشي حيث تسعى الحكومة التركية لاحتكار تجارة المواشي، ويأتي حديث الشيخ علي ديري عن الدور التركي في الصومال بعدما قامت الحكومة التركية بإغراق الصومال بالمساعدات الغذائية منتهية الصلاحية في الأشهر الماضية. اللهم منزل الكتاب مجري السحاب هازم الأحزاب، اهزم الصليبيين ومن حالفهم من المرتدين.

Attack on Several Military Sites of the Apostates North of the Capital Mogadishu:

الحمد لله وحده أعز جنده ونصر عبده وهزم الأحزاب وحده والصلاة والسلام على من لا نبي بعده أما بعد: شنت كتائب المجاهدين في ولاية بنادر الإسلامية هجمات متفرقة على عدة مراكز عسكرية للمرتدين شمال مقديشو منها تقاطع “فقح” ومركز مديرية “ياخشيد” ومواقع أخرى، وقد أكد شهود عيان وقوع 4 قتلى من المرتدين في مديرية “ياخشيد”، وقد نجى مسؤول المديرية من العملية بأعجوبة وقتل بعض من حراسه، وأثناء الهجوم قتل مسؤول المخابرات في حي ياخشيد (عبدِ أتوري) داخل منزله، وكان هذا المرتد معروفا بأذيته للمسلمين في هذه المنطقة، وبعد انسحاب المجاهدين من المنطقة وصل ضباط من الاتحاد الأفريقي للبحث حول كيفية وصول المجاهدين إلى وسط المديرية. اللهم منزل الكتاب مجري السحاب هازم الأحزاب، اهزم الصليبيين ومن حالفهم من المرتدين.

This past Thursday, on February 16, a group of around twenty individuals claiming to be part of the Free Syrian Army (FSA), released a video message to YouTube announcing the formation of a new battalion named the al-Bara’ ibn Malik Martyrs Brigade. It should be noted that during the Iraq war, al-Qa’ida in Iraq (AQI) also named one of their battalions the al-Bara’ ibn Malik Martyrs Brigade. There is no definitive proof that the new battalion established by the FSA is connected with the old al-Qa’ida in Iraq networks. That said, one should be cognizant of the expansive facilitation networks there were for foreign fighters attempting to join the Iraq jihad in Syria.

There are many layers to unpack from the video itself as well as the name chosen for the martyr brigade and its potential illusions.
With the recent revelations that al-Qa’ida was allegedly behind a series of suicide bombings in Syria over the past few months, along with Ayman al-Zawahiri’s recent video giving support to the Syrian “mujahidin;” much worry has risen over the specter of al-Qa’ida influencing and/or hijacking the opposition movement in Syria that hopes to topple Bashar al-Asad and his current regime.

al-Katāi’b Media presents a new statement from Ḥarakat al-Shabāb al-Mujāhidīn: “Celebrations in the City of Kismayo on the Joy of Joining al-Qā’idah”

NOTE: al-Shabāb previously released two statements over the past few days about celebrations of the the Bay’at to al-Qā’idah in the State of Lower Shabelle and the City of Baydhabo.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم  احتفالات في مدينة كسمايو فرحاً بالانضمام إلى تنظيم القاعدة (الخميس 24 ربيع الأول 1433)  الحمد لله وحده أعز جنده ونصر عبده وهزم الأحزاب وحده والصلاة والسلام على من لا نبي بعده أما بعد: كما هو المشهد في كل الولايات الإسلامية خرجت احتفالات ضخمة في مدينة كسمايو عاصمة ولاية جوبا الإسلامية فرحاً بانضمام حركة الشباب المجاهدين إلى تنظيم قاعدة الجهاد، وقد خرج الآلاف في شوارع المدينة تأييدا لهذه البيعة المباركة ومن ثم تجمعوا في إحدى الحدائق بوسط المدينة وهي “حديقة الشريعة” وقد أطلق عليها هذا الاسم – الإسلام – لأنها تطبق فيها حدود الله، وتحدث في الاحتفال جمع من أعيان المدينة وعدد من مسؤولي حركة الشباب المجاهدين منهم الشيخ حسين علي فيدو مسؤول مكتب السياسة والولايات، والشيخ حسن يعقوب مسؤول مديرية كسمايو.

اللهم منزل الكتاب مجري السحاب هازم الأحزاب، اهزم الصليبيين ومن حالفهم من المرتدين.
اللهم اجعلهم وعتادهم غنيمة للمسلمين.
اللهم دمّرهم و زلزلهم.
اللهم أنت عضدنا وأنت نصيرنا،اللهم بك نصول وبك نجول وبك نقاتل.
والله أكبر
