New statement from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: “Regarding Irresponsible Treatment of Afghanistan’s National Assets in the United States”

US President Biden in defiance of all international norms initially frozen Afghanistan’s assets, which were deposited in his country’s banks, and now wants to use it irresponsibly.

The Islamic Emirate strongly condemns Biden’s unjustified actions as a violation of the rights of all Afghans.

The 9/11 attacks had nothing to do with Afghans.
Any tempering of the assets of the Afghan people under the pretext of 9/11 incident is a blatant abuse and injustice which is a clear violation of the agreement reached with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan as well as an attempt to cover up the 20 years of its crimes committed in Afghanistan.

The United States in order to avoid international reproach, and not to damage its relations with the Afghan people, it must relinquish its decision.

Unfreez the wealth of Afghans unconditionally and further refrain from any provocative actions that can lead to more mistrust.
If the United States does not deviate from its position and continue its provocative actions, the Islamic Emirate will also be forced to reconsider its policy towards its country.

New release from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: “Joint Statement of the One-day Meeting Between the Acting Government of Afghanistan and a Number of Afghan Personalities in the Kingdom of Norway”

Today, 23 January 2022, a one-day joint meeting was held between officials of the acting Afghan government and a number of personalities in Oslo, the capital of the Kingdom of Norway.

During the meeting, the participants listened patiently to each others’ opinions and exchanged views on the current situation in the country. They affirmed that Afghanistan is the shared home of all Afghans, and stressed that all Afghans need to work together for the political, economic and security prosperity of the country.

The participants of the meeting recognized that understanding and joint cooperation are the only solutions to all the problems of Afghanistan. All participants, with one voice, declared such meetings to be in the interest of the country.

At the end, the participants thanked Norway for providing such an opportunity.

New statement from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: “Message of Condolence To the Earthquake Victims of Badghis”

It is with great sadness that we learn that a severe earthquake has occurred in all districts of Badghis province, especially in Qadis, late yesterday, which has caused heavy corporeal and financial losses to our countrymen.

According to preliminary reports, 22 civilians lost their lives, 5 have been injured and up to 800 houses have been destroyed.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan extends its deepest sympathies to the bereaved countrymen, wishes paradise to the martyrs, speedy recovery to the wounded and condolences to their families and relatives.

Officials from the Islamic Emirate and all relevant agencies, including the Ministry of Disaster Management, are instructed to provide medical, food and logistical support to the area as soon as possible and take all the necessary measures to save the rest of the people and provide houses, tents and other related needs.

We also call on international aid and humanitarian agencies to assist victims of the disaster in Badghis province and cooperate with us in this tragic event.

We ask Allah Almighty to protect our poor people from any such calamities further and grant the victims of Badghis event great patience and adequate reward.

New statement from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: “Regarding the Soviet invasion On the 6th of Jaddi”

Forty two years ago on the 6th of Jaddi 1358 (Hijri Solar), former Soviet armies launched an invasion against Afghanistan.

The Afghan Muslim and Liberation loving Nation could not tolerate any occupation or aggression by any invader, so our brave and Mujahid nation started a great and comprehensive jihad against the Soviet invaders and defeated the then Soviet Union in ten years and forced the occupying forces out of our country.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, on behalf of its people, condemns the invasion of the former Soviet Union and commends jihad and struggle of the brave Afghan people against them.

Afghanistan does not interfere in internal affairs of any country and does not allow anyone to violate our rights and interfere in our internal affairs. Afghans as peace loving nation is willing to establish good and strong relations within the framework of international and Islamic principles, in which no one is likely to be harmed and the right of nations to freedom is protected.

Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan hopes that all countries of the region and world, will play a positive role in building and maintaining good and strong relations in order to take steps towards peace and prosperity in the region and the world. So that inconvenience, destruction and mistrust of the previous wars can be eradicated.
