New statement from the Islamic State of Iraq: "Congratulations on the Occasion of ‘Īd al 'Aḍḥā"

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

All praise is due to Allah, and may peace and blessings be upon the Leader of the Mujahideen, our Prophet Muhammad, and upon all his family and companions. To proceed:

Allah Most High said:

{ُوَلِتُكْمِلُواْ الْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُواْ اللّهَ عَلَى مَا هَدَاكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ}

“..for you to complete the fixed time period, and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful.” [Al-Baqarah: 185]

الله أكبر الله أكبر الله أكبر لا إله إلا الله والله أكبر الله أكبر ولله الحمد

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Laa ilaaha ill-Allah. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa lillah-il-hamd.
Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, there is no true deity besides Allah. Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, to Allah is all praise.
Our precious Ummah!
We see that time has passed so quickly, and the blessed day of Eid-ul-Adha has arrived, a day which Allah has made one of celebration for those Muslims who have made pilgrimage to the House of Allah, those who have magnified his symbols, and those who have worshipped him as He deserves. We ask Allah to make it a day of empowerment and manifest victory, and an inauguration for liberation from slavery of the criminal tawagheet to the servitude of Allah, from the various systems of darkness and the deviation of manmade laws to the best Sharia sent to mankind. The person who truly celebrates Eid is he who aids his religion where needed, and he in whom Allah sees goodness and thus liberates him by His Grace from Hellfire, admitting him with his Mercy to lofty gardens of Paradise.
Greetings to Muslims everywhere, especially those who have taken to the lands of Jihad, both Muhajireen and Ansar, as well as all those who are confronting the tawagheet with their selves, their wealth, and their tongues in defence of their religion and seeking empowerment of Islam and the governance of His Sharia. Indeed it is they who are the beloved slaves of Allah who hold on to hot coals in a time of strangeness. Congratulations to them for their sacrifices. May Allah accept from both us and from you all righteous works.
O Allah! Empower the Mujahideen and the weak and oppressed Muslims on Earth! O Allah! Empower their state in which Your Sharia is implemented, in which Your Word is the Highest; a state in which Muslims are honored and infidels and hypocrites are humiliated.
O Allah! Strengthen them! Be with them in their loneliness, and be their support and helper. Indeed their strength is in You alone, and they have only left in defence of Your religion, O Lord of all that exists!
O Allah! Strike the tawagheet with Your punishment which is not lifted from the wrongdoers! O Allah! Punish them through Your Own Hands or the hands of your beloved slaves! O Allah! Rip apart their sovereignty and make them stories of the past!
O Allah! Punish the leaders of un-Islamic calls, the worshippers of nationalism and the religion of democracy, as well as all who conspire with them, aided their falsehood, altered your religion, and misguided your slaves.
O Allah, foil the plots of all those who conspire against the Muslim Ummah, expose their secrets, humiliate them before You take them, and make them lessons for others.
And Allah is the Greatest.

وَ لِلّه العِزَّةُ وَ لِرَسُوله وَ لِلمؤُمِنِینَ وَلکِنَّ المُنَفِقِینَ لَایَعلَمُونَ

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيمالحمد لله ربّ العالمين، والصلاة والسلام على إمام المجاهدين نبيّنا محمّد، وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين… وبعد:قال الله تعالى: {ُوَلِتُكْمِلُواْ الْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُواْ اللّهَ عَلَى مَا هَدَاكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ} [البقرة : 185] الله أكبر الله أكبر الله أكبر لا إله إلا الله والله أكبر الله أكبر ولله الحمد أمّتنا الحبيبة: ها هي الأيام تنصرم سراعاً وقد هلّ علينا يوم الأضحى المبارك، يومٌ شرعه الله عيداً للمسلمين ممّن حجّ بيته وعظّم شعائره وعبده حقّ عبادته، فنسأله تعالى أنْ يعيده علينا بتمكينٍ ونصرٍ مبين، وأن يجعله فاتحةً للانعتاق من عبوديّة الطّواغيت المجرمين لعبادة ربّ العبيد، ومن شِرعة الظلام وتيه الأحكام الوضعيّة إلى خير شريعة أرسلت للأنام، فالسعيد من النّاس بالعيد من نصر دينه في موطن النّصرة، ورأى الله منه خيراً فأعتقه بفضله من النيران، وأسكنه برحمته عالي الجنان. فهنيئاً للمسلمين في كلّ مكانٍ، ونخصّ بالذّكر منهم النّافرين في سوح الجهاد مهاجرينَ وأنصاراً، وكذا كلّ من خرجَ مقارعاً للطواغيت بنفسه وماله ولسانه نُصرةً لدينه وإعلاءً لكلمة ربّه وتحكيماً لشرعه، فهؤلاء هم أولياء الله القابضون على الجمر في زمن الغُربة، فهنيئاً لهم ما قدّموا، وتقبّل الله منّا ومنهم صالح الأعمال.. اللهم مكّن للمجاهدين والمستضعفين في الأرض، اللهمّ مكّن لدولتهم التي يُحكم فيها بشرعك وتكون كلمتك فيها هي العليا، دولةً يُعزّ فيها المسلم، ويُذلّ فيها الكافر والمنافق، اللهمّ قوِّ شوكتهم وآنس وحشتهم، وكن لهم العون والنّصير، فهم أقوياء بك وما خرجوا إلا نُصرةً لدينك يا ربّ العالمين.. اللهمّ أنزل بالطّواغيت بأسك الذي لا يُردّ عن القوم الظالمين، اللهمّ عذبهم بعذاب من عندك أو بأيدي أوليائك، اللهم مزّق مُلكهم واجعلهم في الأرض أحاديث.. اللهمّ عليك بأرباب الدعوات الجاهلية وعُبّاد “الوطنية” ودين “الديمقراطيّة” وكلّ من تواطأ معهم وزيّن باطلهم فحرّف دينك وأضلّ عبادك، اللهم كلّ من تآمر على أمّة الإسلام فرُدّ كيده في نحره وافضح سريرته واخزه قبل قبضه واجعله عبرة لغيره.. والله أكبر {وَلِلَّهِ الْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَكِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لا يَعْلَمُونَ} وزارةُ الإعلام/ دولةُ العراقِ الإسلاميّة المصدر : ( مركز الفجر للإعلام )

al-Katāi’b Media presents a new statement from Ḥarakat al-Shabāb al-Mujāhidīn: "Kenya Planning a Full-Scale Invasion of Somalia"

The statement by the Kenyan government that two planes carrying weapons for Al-Shabaab have landed in Baidoa is a mere propaganda that is intended to sanction the mass murder of innocent civilians in Somalia.
At a time when the people of Somalia are recuperating from the severe droughts that have hit the regions of Southern Somalia and began sowing the seeds of their future, the Kenyan government declared war against them, conducting well-coordinated disinformation campaigns and disseminating propaganda in an attempt to legitimize the invasion of their country.
Kenyan fighter jets have already bombed several Somali cities and killed dozens of innocent civilians in the process. The latest strafing of Khaybar Refugee camp in Jilib by the Kenyan military claimed the lives of more than 10 innocent refugees and injured 53 all of them women and children. The systematic killing of innocent civilians and the plan to arbitrarily bomb 10 cities in Southern Somalia not only highlights the barbarity of the Kenyan invasion but also further illustrates the vicious nature of the Kenyan war against the entire people of Somalia.
And as the much-hyped ‘Operation Linda Nchi’ gains momentum, it becomes apparent that the operation is not simply an attempt to defend Kenya’s territorial boundary as they claimed but rather a clever camouflage for the full-scale invasion of Somalia. This is a war not against Al-Shabaab, but against the people of Somalia.
Harakat Al-Shabaab Al Mujahideen has already warned both the Kenyan government as well as its public against the aggressive incursion into Somali territory and hereby emphasizes, once more, that the continued Kenyan invasion and the callous disregard for civilian lives will have some cataclysmic consequences.

قبيلة “العير” تُعلن البيعة لحركة الشباب المجاهدين 5/12/1432 

الحمدُ لله ربّ العالمين والصّلاة والسّلام على نبيّنا محمّد و على آله وصحبه أجمعين أما بعد:

أقيم اليوم بمديرية لفولي التابعة لولاية شبيلى السفلى الإسلامية إحتفالا بمناسبة إعلان قبيلة “العير” إحدى القبائل الصومالية المسلمة البيعة لحركة الشباب المجاهدين، وقد حضر الحفل زعماء وسلاطين وتجار من قبيلة العير وقيادات من حركة الشباب المجاهدين منهم الشيخ علي محمود راجي والشيخ أبو عبد الرحمن والي ولاية بنادر الإسلامية، والشيخ حسن طاهر أويس القيادي في حركة الشباب المجاهدين، والشيخ حسين علي فيدو مسؤول مكتب السياسة والولايات بحركة الشباب المجاهدين، وقد قرأ أحد سلاطين القبيلة بيانا يحتوي على البنود التي توافقت حركة الشباب المجاهدين وقبيلة العير عليها أهمها تطبيق الشريعة الإسلامية والدفاع عن الدين والأرض ضد أي إعتداء صليبي خارجي.
وقد وقع عن القبيلة 19 من زعماء القبيلة ووقع عن حركة الشباب المجاهدين الشيخ حسين علي فيدو مسؤول مكتب السياسة والولايات، وفي حديثه أكد الشيخ حسين علي فيدو على أن كل الخلافات يمكن حلها إذا رُدت إلى كتاب الله وسنة رسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم، وأن هذه البيعة حطمت كل مخططات الأعداء في التفريق بين المجاهدين وبين قبيلة العير، وحث القبائل الصومالية على التنافس في الدفاع عن دين الله عز وجل، وشكر القبيلة على مواقفها الطيبة في نصرة الدين، جدير بالذكر أن هذه البيعة ماهي إلا تأكيد من القبيلة على مواقفها السابقة في نصرة المجاهدين والدفاع الدين والأرض والعرض.

اللهم منزل الكتاب مجري السحاب هازم الأحزاب، اهزم الصليبيين ومن حالفهم من المرتدين.
اللهم اجعلهم وعتادهم غنيمة للمسلمين.
اللهم دمّرهم و زلزلهم.

Destroying Three of the Military Vehicles of the Kenyan Forces in an Ambush Near Dhobley:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم تدمير ثلاثة سيارات عسكرية للقوات الكينية في كمين قرب دوبلي 5/12/1432  الحمدُ لله ربّ العالمين والصّلاة والسّلام على نبيّنا محمّد و على آله وصحبه أجمعين أما بعد:
بلغت أنباء لكتائب المجاهدين بولاية جوبا الإسلامية عن تحركات للقوات العسكرية بين “تابتو” و “قوقاني” قام المجاهدون بنصب كمين لتلك القوات التي تتكون من 20 آليه عسكرية متنوعة، وبعد وصول القوات الكينية في العصر إلى قرية “قنديس” على بعد حوالي 35 كيلو مترا من مدينة دوبلي وقعوا في الكمين، وتم إحراق 3 سيارات عسكرية استهدفت بقذائف الآر بي جي، ولم تتأخر الكينية في الفرار وتبعهم المجاهدون لعدة كيلو مترات ومن ثم غادر المجاهدون المكان سالمين غانمين والحمد لله رب العالمين. اللهم منزل الكتاب مجري السحاب هازم الأحزاب، اهزم الصليبيين ومن حالفهم من المرتدين.

Banādar Distributes Aid to Those Affected in the Directorate of Daynile:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم  ولاية بنادر توزع مساعدات على المتضررين في مديرية دينيلى 3/12/1432 
الحمدُ لله ربّ العالمين والصّلاة والسّلام على نبيّنا محمّد و على آله وصحبه أجمعين أما بعد: أدت الاعتداءات الأخيرة على مديرية دينيلى من قبل قوات الصليبيين الأفارقة إلى نزوح الآلاف من سكان المنطقة إلى المناطق المجاورة، وقد قامت ولاية بنادر الإسلامية اليوم بتوزيع مساعدات على 2000 من المتضررين، والمساعدات عبارة عن 300 خيمة، وكمية من المواد الغذائية حصل منها كل فرد على 25 كيلو أرز، و25 كيلو من البُر ، و10 كيلو سكر، و 6 لتر زيت، و12 كيلو تمر.

والي ولاية جوبا الإسلامية يتفقد جرحى القصف الكيني على مدينة جلب 4/12/1432 
الحمدُ لله ربّ العالمين والصّلاة والسّلام على نبيّنا محمّد و على آله وصحبه أجمعين أما بعد: قام الشيخ أبو بكر على آدم والي ولاية جوبا الإسلامية بزيارة تفقدية إلى مستشفى ” مريري ” الذي يعالج فيه جرحى القصف الكيني على مدينة جلب، وكانت طائرات تابعة للجيش الكيني قد شنت هجوماً جباناً على مخيم خيبر للنازحين الذي أقامته الولاية للمتضررين من الجفاف، وأدى القصف إلى مقتل خمسة من أهالي المعسكر وجرح 53 جراح بعضهم خطيرة، وقد قدم الشيخ أبو بكر مبالغ مالية لأهالي الجرحى وواساهم على المصيبة التي ألمت بهم.
اللهم منزل الكتاب مجري السحاب هازم الأحزاب، اهزم الصليبيين ومن حالفهم من المرتدين.

One of the biggest questions and worries the past year in Western counterterrorism circles has been about how the MENA uprisings would affect al-Qa’ida. Many pointed to the uprisings as evidence that the citizens of the MENA were not only shedding off the yoke of tyranny, but also discrediting al-Qa’ida. On the other side of the debate were those that believed that it would provide the impetus for jihadis to take over. Throughout the past ten months I have maintained that one would see something more in between these two visions and that one should focus on the internal dynamics of each country. The three countries that have worried me the most are Yemen, Syria, and Libya. Gregory Johnsen has done a great job keeping everyone updated on al-Qa’ida in the Arabian Peninsula’s evolution and advances in Yemen. Additionally, I have a forthcoming post at al-Wasat about the potential for jihadi penetration in the Syrian theater if the country does indeed devolve into a civil war. This post will therefore only focus on Libya and al-Qa’ida in the Islamic Maghrib’s (AQIM) outreach to Libyans since the beginning of the Libyan uprising in February.
