According to credible news agencies of the world, the American president’s Special Envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan, Richard Holbrooke, died in George Washington’s University hospital at the age of 69. He had been suffering from a heart’s disease for the past days.
Appointed on 22nd January 2009, as special envoy for Afghanistan/ Pakistan, Holbrooke was keeping an eye on the Afghan issue. Some times ago, he told reporters that he had been passing through a difficult phase of his life, exerting crippling and sapping pressure on him. He passed out in his exclusive office for Afghanistan and regional affairs on Friday last, following his above-mentioned reveals and his life of toils and fatigues ended after admission into a hospital where he breathed his last yesterday.
The American rulers have not made any remarks about the cause of his sudden death in view of the sensitivity of the issue but rumors have it that this giant of the American politics and diplomacy became ill with a heart disease when his previous fame and credibility came under question after the unremitting failures of the mission of Afghanistan and his facing the difficult task. The protracted Afghan war and the descending trajectory of the Americans’ handling of the warfare in the country had had a lethal dent on Holbrook’s health as a high-ranking American official. He was grappling with a constant psychological stress.
Emergence of this untoward phenomenon as an off-shoot of the Afghan issue is not now a strange thing. The same was the case with the former Soviet Union as the crisis touched its climax. Former Soviet leaders Brezhnev, Konstantin Cherninkove and Vladimir Andropov had heart attacks in a short time distance before the coming to scene of Michael Gorbachove. They relieved themselves of the hard task of the Afghan mission by retreating into the lap of death.
The recent symptoms are indicating that an outbreak of the same epidemic diseases has started in the political and military echelons of America.
A few months ago, an American four stars general, general David Peteraeus, fainted during a senate hearing when he faced tough questions as regards the issue of Afghanistan. The end of Holbrooke, the fate of general Mc Crystal and the defense Secretary Robert Gate’s warning to step down show that the war of Afghanistan is heavily weighing down on the psyche of the American military and political high-ups. Some of them lighten their burden by simply going to the other world and others, while being still alive, choose to avoid shouldering the mission.
The sudden death of a high-ranking American diplomat happens in a time that American strategists under the chair of Obama have been reviewing the issue of Afghanistan for the past few days. They will expectedly announce their decision soon.
We believe Holbrooke’s timely death could have a didactic effect on the American strategists, teaching them many things to learn. In view of the American entanglement in the aggravating swamp of Afghanistan, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan calls on the American powers-that-be to abandon their dream of military domination and colonial sway in Afghanistan. Their formulation of new military strategies will never change the imminent defeat into a victory in the country. Still if they are bent on continuing with the status quo, they will face many unexpected events and imbroglios. Their political and military circles will have to grapple with constant crisis and untoward situations. Nothing more than that, they will achieve.

The famous Commander Mullah Dhia al-Deen, governor and military official for Jihadist Affairs in Faryab province was Martyred during a bloody clash that occurred between the Mujahideen of the Emirate and foreign forces in the village of Qurak Wadaq in the Dawlat Abad district of Faryab province, in the southwest of Afghanistan. Commander Dhia al-Deen was consider one of the most successful military officials and had played a tangible role in confronting Crusader forces and their lackeys in the west of the country.
The Martyr Mullah Qari Dhia al-Deen, also famous by the name of “Farooq”, was born in 1403 AH in the house of Hajj Abdul Baqi in the village of Tub Khana Qala in the environs of Dawlat Abad district of Faryab province.
Brother Dhia was an Uzbek national of the Bek tribe, one of the famous ethnic groups in Afghanistan. His family was characterized by their love for Jihad, religion and people of ‘Ilm.
He memorized the Qur’an in his youth and he, may Allah have mercy on him, loved Shari’ah learning since his early childhood. He was a student of many of the Shari’ah scholars in his area, but his involvement in the Jihad against the Crusader infidels and their lackeys prevented him from continuing his studies.
After the unjust Crusader forces entered the country with oppression and aggression and committed the most despicable crimes against the Muslim Afghan people, brother Farooq was not able to sit safe and secure seeking knowledge while his brothers and his people were being slaughtered at the hands of the occupation. So he gathered some of his comrades and began the holy, armed Jihad.
Despite his youth, he became famous for his surpassing bravery and rare military chivalry among his peers and throughout the entire province. He made the Crusaders taste the evil of defeats and through his surpassing chivalry was able to minimize losses within the ranks of the Mujahideen, while maximizing losses on the other side. He conducted many operations against the enemy until terror of him was struck in the hearts of the Crusader enemies of Allah and their lackeys so that they were in awe and fear of him and would not enter any battle that required confronting him directly.
In the beginning, the Mujahideen and his comrades chose him as their commander in their region, but his fame, bravery and excessive chivalry made the Officials of the Islamic Emirate take notice of him, and they entrusted him with responsibility
for an entire province, and he became the General Military Official for Faryab province.
After his appointment to this high and sought-after position, he undertook the proper organization of the ranks of the Mujahideen in accordance with the current Jihadist situation in his province at that time. He also strongly linked together the Mujahideen operations, which were somewhat characterized by their arbitrariness.
Among the most important of his accomplishments was initiating tasks for calling to Jihad the people of Faryab province who had begun to be influenced by the media of the Crusader enemy and their helpers. He built various FM transmitters and began to transmit their ideas and alarms to the local residents around the clock. Through the grace of Allah subhanahu wa ta’alaand his great sincerity he was able to lead away hundreds of young men and administrators from the ranks of the lackeys and attract and join them to the ranks of the Mujahideen or obtain their protection and assistance.
His military program had a great impact in absorbing the impact of Crusader forces and their helpers upon the province. He likewise expanded the radius of liberated land in the province and expanded along with it the influence of the Emirate as well as won the hearts of the people of the province and inclined them towards the side of the Islamic Emirate to provide protection and assistance as well as food, weapons and security.
After brother Farooq was appointed to the position of province military official, he remained in that post until his Martyrdom. He would spend all of his time courageously and sincerely with the Mujahideen in the front lines of the battle. He was a commander of the Mujahideen and their servant. He was proof of the words of Allah’s Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: The Master of the People is their Servant. He won by bearing the hardships of Jihad, the fatigue and wounds. All of that, however, did not deter him from continuing his difficult work and he never lost his firm determination.
 
Finally, he achieved what he desired. He desired Martyrdom and he obtained it, when the Crusader forces launched a cowardly night-time raid on the 4thday of October in the current year 2010, six kilometers away from Dawlet Abad district in the area of Qurak Wadaq in Faryab province. With four of his comrades, he resisted the Crusader forces until his dying breath. He did not surrender to the Crusader forces that surrounded him on every side rather he fought with courage and inflicted great losses on the Crusaders forces until he was Martyred with his four zealous comrades. We beseech Allah subhanahu wa ta’alato accept him and let him abide in Paradise and to gather us with him as Martyrs in Paradise. O Allah, Ameen.
His character and personality:

The Martyr Dhia al-Deen Farooq, may Allah accept him and have mercy on him, was handsome of face and of medium height. He smiled much and was of mild disposition. He was highly commended and of great stature among his people, his peers and his brothers. He was known among the Mujahideen for his effectiveness, patience, sincerity and service. He would deal with the people of his village and province with great wisdom and perspicacity. Because of his great sincerity, he won the love of all in the province except his enemies who feared him and were in dread of him because he was so hard upon them on the battlefield. He was a gentle counselor in the villages and mosques. He was strictly obedient to the orders of the Islamic Emirate and would carry them out without hesitation or opposition. He was characterized by his mildness. He had memorized the Qur’an and would lead the Mujahideen in prayer.
His Successors:

The Shaheed Farooq was a family man. In addition to his wife, he left three children behind him, a son and two daughters. He also left behind three brothers. The family of brother Farooq is famed for Jihad and sacrifice. Two of his uncles have been Martyred before him and 7 members of his family have been imprisoned by the foreign occupation forces.
May Allah have mercy on our martyr and make Paradise his abode. And may Allah free all the Muslim prisoners.

Zilhajj 13, 1431 A.H, Saturday, November 20, 2010
The White House has determined July 2011 as the deadline to begin withdrawing their defeated invader forces from Afghanistan. It is therefore necessary for them to justify this withdrawal in front of their civilians and the world at large by achieving some meaningful or tangible gain in Afghanistan.
To this end they have stationed over 150,000 foreign troops in Afghanistan along with all the military technology they can muster. The Americans have chosen Kandahar as their battleground both for its sentimental and strategic importance.
For the past nine months the Americans have been attempting their utmost to achieve some sort of military or political gain in Afghanistan. They employed all the propaganda tools at their disposal to turn the people away from the Mujahideen. However, failing to win the support of the people, the invaders resorted to the indiscriminate carpet bombings of the people’s lands and the mass murders of the innocent civilians. All this has caused the displacement of thousands of families from their lands and villages. However, despite all their trickeries and force, the battle for Kandahar has settled steadily in the Mujahideen’s favour.
The Mujahideen were, from the start of these operations, to carry out precise Commando-led operations against the nerve centres of the foreign forces and their puppet partners, thus seizing the initiative from the foreign occupiers. Not only did the Mujahideen conduct these operations in Kandahar city, but also extending to surrounding areas such as the airport, Dand, Arghandab, Zhiri, Panjwaee, and Maiwand districts. The head of the foreign barbarian forces, Nick Carter, last month, could not give any information on these operations to the media. This is mostly because the enemy neither knows the military strength of the Mujahideen nor their main bases. The Mujahideen, profiting from the Dagger and Marjah operations, were able to introduce several new tactics that have completely demoralised the invader forces. These tactics are the main reason why the Mujahideen have not abated their operations in the area in the winter season. These new tactics have placed the foreign invaders under significant military and domestic pressure.
Their failure in the Kandahar operations was also the main reason behind Obama’s supporters, the Democrats, defeat in the mid-term elections. Also due to their failures in the Kandahar operations, Obama’s approval ratings in America have sunk to 46% while the myth of America’s military superiority globally has been shattered. This Friday’s NATO meeting in Portugal will also address how the foreigners can prevent the escalating death toll of their soldiers in Afghanistan.
Though the eleventh month in Afghanistan is generally very cold and naturally impedes any military undertakings, the Mujahideen have been so active in Afghanistan that midway through the month, the invaders (who hide 90% of their real casualties in Afghanistan) by their own count have lost over 23 soldiers in this month. In summary it has become clear that after nine years of occupation, the invaders are doomed towards the same fate as those that tread this path before them. Their troop surges, their new strategies, their new generals, their new negotiations, and their new propagandas have been of no avail.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan opines that the Americans have exhausted themselves in Afghanistan over the last nine years, and now will not stay long in our beloved country. What they could not gain in the last few months with their, then, fresh troops, they will not be able to gain in Kandahar, with their, now, demoralised and fearful troops. It is becoming manifest that the Americans will not be able to conceal their defeat in Afghanistan for too long. Therefore, the White House, instead of counting their mounting casualties in Afghanistan, would be better advised to formulate a withdrawal plan, to at least save those troops, which are still alive.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
On 20.11.2010 ended the meeting of 28 NATO member countries which had been held in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. Participants of the meeting passed some decisions about Afghanistan. In response, the Islamic Emirate issue its stance concerning the decision as follows:
1. Seeing that the USA failed to get additional military assistance of the NATO member countries in Lisbon Meeting for prolongation of the war in Afghanistan despite her all-out efforts or at least get commitment to ensure long-term continuation of the present military power of the NATO member countries in Afghanistan, therefore, it is a good news for the Afghans and all freedom-loving people of the world and it is a sign of failure for the American government. In the past nine years, the invaders could not establish any system of governance in Kabul and they will never be able to do so in future.
2. The real solution of the Afghan issue lies in withdrawal of the foreign forces. Hence the NATO decision to start withdrawal of military forces from Afghanistan in 2014 is an irrational decision because until then, various untoward and tragic events and battles will take place as a result of this meaningless, imposed and unwinning war. The bottom line for them is to immediately implement what they would ultimately have to implement though after colossal casualties. They should not postpone withdrawal of their forces even be it for one day.
3. As far as the Mujahid people of Afghanistan are concerned, they are not ready to tolerate foreign invasion and occupation of their country even if it is for one day because of their firm determination. Nor they feel exhausted in the way of the sacred Jihad and the struggle of independence. So they will not remain silent even for a single night until and unless the goal of complete freedom and formation of an independent government is achieved. They will not wait for the time of implementation of a given decision or timetable of withdrawal.
4. Seeing that the invading forces which have come here from far-flung places, thousands of kilometers away, and want to set a timetable for withdrawal but still want to continue presence of their forces at the regional countries, therefore, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan calls on the neighboring and regional countries to take drastic measures for a bright future of Afghanistan, the Afghans, and all the region, for good relationship and reconstruction of Afghanistan.
5. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has formulated comprehensive policy for the future Afghanistan, for efficient governance, security, Islamic justice, education, economic advancement, national unity, and a foreign policy that will ensure protection of the country against any harm of others and convince the world that the future Afghanistan will not harm them. The Islamic Emirate wants to take strong step in collaboration with all countries and in the framework of mutual respect to maintain bilateral corporation with all countries; ensure economic progress and bright future.
We consider the whole region as our home against colonialism and as a responsible force, want to play a role for peace and stability of the region in future.
