New statement from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: "Concerning Non-Participation By Delegates In the Upcoming QCG Meetings

On the one hand America is deploying fresh troops to Afghanistan, is carrying out airstrikes in various areas and partaking in night raids and on the other the Kabul administration has expanded operations in multiple provinces, displaced thousands of families from their homes in this cold winter and at the same time intensified propaganda about negotiations and Quadrilateral Coordination Group meetings. These two contradictory activities have begun as the Political Office of Islamic Emirate has not been kept informed about negotiations from the onset and neither have the requests of known Afghan personalities been paid any heed.
At the same time rumors are being circulated that delegates of Islamic Emirate will be participating in the upcoming meetings with the permission of the esteemed Amir ul Mumineen, Mullah Akhtar Muhammad Mansoor (may Allah safeguard him).
We reject all such rumors and unequivocally state that the esteemed leader of Islamic Emirate has not authorized anyone to participate in this meeting and neither has the Leadership Council of Islamic Emirate decided to partake in it. Just as the Islamic Emirate made clear during the Pugwash conference, it once again reiterates its policy that unless the occupation of Afghanistan is ended, black lists eliminated and innocent prisoners freed, such futile misleading negotiations will not bear any results. We also call on the media to avoid publishing baseless hollow reports and stop attributing news to the Islamic Emirate which has not been confirmed by the official spokespersons and Political Office of the Islamic Emirate.

New statement from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s Zabīh Allah Mujāhid: "Reports About Mujāhidīn Infighting and Arrest of Commanders are Fabricated"

The provincial officials of the stooge Kabul regime alongside their notorious intelligence agency have been claiming since yesterday of infighting between Mujahideen in Nawa or Maqur districts of Ghazni province as well as arresting a commander in Bermal district of Paktika province today.
We strongly reject this propaganda and state that no such incident has taken place in any of the areas and neither has aMujahideen commander been detained anywhere.
The enemy wants to boost the morale of its dispirited troops who are facing a trashing at the hands of Mujahideen everywhere and at the same time seeks to instigate worry among the Mujahideen and masses with such propaganda.
We assure our nation that such rumors are mere fabrications and they should not lend an ear to or worry when such propaganda is disseminated from the enemy address.

New statement from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan's Zabīh Allah Mujāhid: "Report by Human Right Watch Concerning Recruitment of Child Soldiers in the Ranks of the Islamic Emirate is Baseless"

Today Human Right Watch (HRW) organization published a report in which it alleged that the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate recruit child soldiers which is clear propaganda against the Mujahideen due to lack of any evidence for their allegations.
We categorically reject this report. The recruitment of children in the ranks of Islamic Emirate is strictly prohibited. We have published statements in this regard previously and have practically prevented children from being used in fighting. Similarly the use and recruitment of children for work in the highly sensitive explosives department is also prohibited.
Article 69 of the Jihadi Layha (Code of Conduct booklet) of the Islamic Emirate clearly states:
“It is prohibited for minors (those without beards due to small age) to be allowed in military camps, be used in Jihadi work or to stay with the Mujahideen.”
The above explicit order prohibits the recruitment of children in the ranks of Islamic Emirate therefore showing anxiety and publishing reports in this regard are pointless. Such reports only erode the confidence of people on international organizations and generates doubts of there being powerful intelligence agencies operating behind them.

New statement from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: "Regarding the 27th Anniversary of the Soviet Defeat"

27 years ago today on the 26th of Dalwa 1367 (15th February 1989) the Soviet invading forces in our country [Afghanistan] were completely defeated and a new chapter of valor and heroism was written in the proud history of the Afghans.
After a decade of tyranny and barbarism in Afghanistan, the defeat and withdrawal of the Soviet occupiers in spite of having the most advanced military equipment was a clear example of Falsehood succumbing in the face of Truth.
The enemies of our nation and religion have constantly tried to bring us misery, promote irreligiosity, occupy our country and break our determination but all praise is due to Allah, they have failed and taken their dreams with them to their graves.
Unfortunately after the Soviet Union the remaining arrogant international powers not only failed to take heed from the Soviet defeat in Afghanistan but began treading the latter’s footsteps and transgressed against the honor, pride, land, religion and culture of this poor miserable nation.
The humiliating defeat of the Soviet and withdrawal of over a hundred thousand soldiers proves that none can subdue this nation or become an impediment in front of their faith and lofty goals. Whoever seeks to subjugate them should await the same fate as that of the Soviets.
Today’s American invaders are also standing on the edge of overt defeat and have failed at achieving anything during the 14 year occupation. They have been forced to kneel in front of Faith and Afghan valor and it is not far that we shall add the date of American defeat to our calendar just as that of the Soviets.
The Islamic Emirate acknowledges the heroism of the its valiant Mujahid nation on the anniversary of the defeat of the Soviet Union’s Red Army and asks Allah Almighty to reward those who have sacrificed in this path.
At the same time it is determined that just as the Soviet Union, Allah willing, the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate will also completely defeat the American invaders, emancipate our nation from their oppression and will continue waging Jihad as its religious obligation so long as a single American invader is present on our soil and is an impediment in front of an Islamic government.
