NOTE: The Battalion of Abū ‘Abdullah al-Muhājir refers to the former military leader of the Palestinian global jihadist organization Jund Anṣār Allah. al-Muhājir was killed on August 14, 2009 during the battle at the Mosque of Ibn Taymīyyah following Jund Anṣār Allah’s amīr Abū Nūr al-Maqdisī proclamation of an Emirate in Gaza, which led to his death too at the hands of HAMAS. Twenty-four individuals died in total that day.
