New statement from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: "A Glance at the Jihadic Situation of Herāt"

Herat is one of Afghanistan’s western provinces and is counted as one of the largest and most important states. The provincial capital is Herat city, which is considered as one of the largest main 5 cities in Afghanistan and is a famous spot both regionally and globally. This province has borders with neighboring countries of Iran and Turkmenistan and as such is important historically, geopolitically and is a significant commercial crossing point. As a historical region, Herat city has always held an important role in shaping Afghanistan’s political theater.  This city saw one the first and most comprehensive popular uprising’s against the communist regime hence it came under their wrath which turned the province into a strong jihadic front, witnessing some of the fiercest battles take place for 14 years against the Russian occupation and the ruling communist party. After USA’s illegal attack on Afghanistan, the people of Herat once again became amongst the first to start popular resistance and jihad against the invading forces. This resistance was initially only limited to some rural areas, but soon gained momentum and spread to nearly all the districts and regions in the province. At this moment, Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate are operating in 15 districts of the province and have managed to clean many of the rural areas completely from the enemy menace. The northern districts of Herat, for example Rabat-e-Sangi, Kushk-e-Kohna and Tor Ghondi are completely under the control of Mujahideen. Due to this, the enemy supply line of Herat city-Tor Ghondi is under the watchful eyes of Mujahideen which has resulted in the diminished use by the enemy supply convoys because of constant attacks. Other districts like Pashtoon Zarghoon, Gazra, Awba, Shindand, Anjeel and Ard-e-Sang which were previously strong forts of Mujahideen, are still under the influence of Mujahideen, who control large swatches of territory. The enemy, taking advantage of the harsh winter, carried out operations in Pashton Zarghoon and Awba districts to extent its control over the region and weaken the strength of Mujahideen but retreated after a couple of days following the loss precious lives and material from the lethal Mujahideen blows, who on the other hand, did not sustain any significant damages or losses. Nearly all the roads, stretching across Herat, pass through Mujahideen control territories. Herat-Shindand main highway, which is the lifeline of enemy, is often closed by Mujahideen, forcing the enemy to use its airpower to escort its supply convoys so to replenish its airbase. Similarly, the enemy cannot re-supply its forces in many of the districts through land and Herat-Badghis highway, which passes through Band-e-Sabzak is no different due to Mujahideen setting up ambushes at crucial junctures. Another reality which is ignored by the mass media is that the common border between Herat and Turkmenistan has been subject to the control of Mujahideen for a long time after the enemy forces abandoned and fled from the border check posts as a result of successive Mujahideen attacks. Mujahideen have also recently stepped up their attacks in Herat city where they have assassinated many important enemy figures and have carried out a number of successful martyrdom attacks. Mujahideen officials have also been carrying out civil matters alongside with military as is happening in the rest of the country. Mujahideen have set up military commission and a council for scholars at a provincial level besides setting up judicial courts at district level. The people, who have lost confidence in the court system of the stooge regime due to corruption and bribery, have warmly embraced and welcomed this move. _____

ImāmTV presents: "Twelve years on guard of the Sharī'ah' – The biography of Amīr Ilman [of the Caucasus Emirate]"

One of the Caucasus Mujahideen who was martyred, Insha’Allah, during the large-scale operation carried out by the infidels and the apostates – using aircraft and artillery – in the river Fortanga gorge, at approximately 20 kilometers from Upper Alkun (TsIecha Akhka) in the Sunzha district of Wilayah Ghalghaycho (Ingushetia), is Amir Ilman (Ilman Estamirov). Ilman Estamirov was born on August 24, 1977 in the village of Kirov-Yurt, in the Vedeno district of the Chechen-Ingush Republic ASSR USSR (now the village of Tevzana – Vedeno district of the Wilayah Nokhchicho – Caucasus Emirate). There, he graduated from high school. Amir Ilman Tevzaninsky (from Tevzana) was one of the most experienced and talented Chechen commanders of middle rank, who left to Jihad in the summer of 1999 when fighting broke out in the territory of Dagestan and was proclaimed the Islamic call, throughout the Caucasus. Since then, he had to his credit dozens of fierce battles and daring operations in various regions of the north Caucasus (now the Caucasus Emirate). Ilman fought under the leadership of renowned Amirs – Adam Umalatov (1), Supyan Abdullayev and Hussein Gakayev. In Autumn 2006, he was appointed Amir of the Tevzana Jamaat, in the Vedeno district, within the structure of the Shali Sector of the Eastern Front of the ChRI Armed Forces. After the proclamation – in the fall of 2007 – of the Caucasus Emirate, he became the deputy commander of the mountainous Shali sector of the Eastern Front of the W. Nokhchicho, CE.
Amir Ilman Estamirov (ra)
The Mujahid and Amir Ilman was fierce and implacable with the enemies of Islam, gentle and kind whith his brothers in arms. In his frequent speeches and appeals from the front, some of which were displayed on the Internet (see here for example – .WMV – 75 MB), he always spoke frankly and openly, without hiding his face behind a mask. Therefore Ilman was feared by the infidels and the apostates and loved and respected  by the Mujahideen. He was a fearless soldier of Allah, who had a strong Iman and a high reputation among the Mujahideen. The confirmation of the above, is a post-mortem photo of Amir Ilman took by the infidels, in which he’s immortalized with a raised forefinger, testifying the Monotheism (see here). And in another post-mortem photo of the Mujahideen from the Alkun base, [you can see] a smile fixed on the face of Amir Supyan Khattuninsky (1). Is this not a proof that our brothers have succeeded in this life? And is this not a sign of Allah? A distinctive feature of the current stage of the Jihad in the Caucasus is that young Muslims join the ranks of the Mujahideen with their families. And this, in particular, brothers and sisters such as the Avdorhanov, Akhmadov, Barayev, Basayev, Vagabov, Dzhappuev, Yevloyev, Zakaryaev, Gakayev, Muskiev, Tsagaraev, Shakhbievy and others, many of whom were martyred in the way of Allah and became shining examples to follow for the younger generation of the Ummah, in the Caucasus.

In this regard, the Estamirov family – from the foothill Chechen village of Tevzana (whose glory increased in the last two wars, because of its glorious and courageous sons and daughters, who joined the ranks of the Army of Allah), on the right bank of the river Bass, in the Vedeno district – was no exception. So, during the two days of fierce fighting which took place on July 14-15, 2009, between the villages of Tevzana and Makhkety, the younger brother of Ilman Estamirov – Rizvan, 21-year-old aka ‘Mu’min’, who joined the Jihad in Spring 2006, when he was 18 years old – became Shaheed, Insha’Allah … At the basis of the Chechen name ‘Ilman’, there is the Arabic word “Ilm”, which translated into english means “the science and knowledge.” In the worldly life, Ilman was not destined to study in prestigious universities and other educational establishments, in the walls of which are acquired expertise on various specialties. He simply did not have time for this, because he spent more than a third of his life (12 years!) in the harsh conditions of Jihad. However, during these 12 years, Ilman diligently studied at an university of another profile – the University of the Islamic Jihad, where he learned the science of defeating the enemies of Allah and establishing the Sharia law in the land, and the reward for the acquisition of this knowledge and for putting it in practice, is paradise, Insha’Allah. In this field, Amir Ilman was recognized as an expert, so to speak, “a professor of Jihad.” We ask Allah that He accept the Shahada of our brothers – the Amirs Supyan,  Ilman and the other Mujahideen of the Alkun base – and grant them the highest degree of Jannah – al-Firdaws. :: تعليقاتٌ مهمةٌ على حادثةِ غزة ::
” بخصوص قتل المتضامن الإيطالي”


الحمد لله رب العالمين، هازم الكافرين المستكبرين ومذل الطغاة المتجبرين، والصلاة والسلام على إمام المجاهدين وقائد الغر المحجلين … وبعد:
لقد تناهى إلى مسامعنا خبر قتل الصحفي الإيطالي المتضامن، وما أثار ذلك من تصريحات بالحق تارة وبالباطل تارة، وكيف ثار الجدل بالعلم والجهل في هكذا حدث، ونحن من جهتنا نردها للشرع الحنيف غير متجاوزين قيد أنملة، فقطعاً للنزاع وسداً لثغرات الشقاق نقول وبالله التوفيق :

أولاً: إن هذا الحدث نرفضه شرعاً وسياسة منبثقةً عنه، فلقد حرم شرعنا الحنيف الغدر بالمستأمنين والمعاهدين ويكفي في ذلك حديث النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : “من قتل معاهداً لم يرح رائحة الجنة وإن ريحها ليوجد من مسيرة أربعين عاما”، ويجدُر الإشارة إلى أنَّ عقد الأمان يجوز أن يعطيه آحادُ المسلمين بخلاف عقد الذمة فهو للإمام، قال عليه الصلاة والسلام : ” وذمة المسلمين واحدة فمن أخفر مسلماً فعليه لعنة الله والملائكة والناس أجمعين ” . رواه البخاري ومسلم
قال الحافظ في الفتح: ( ذمة المسلمين واحدة: أي أمانهم صحيح، فإذا أمن الكافرَ واحدٌ منهم حرم على غيره التعرض له). 

ثانياً: تناهى إلى مسامعنا مطالب الكثيرين بإعدام الفاعلين، لذا نقول بالرغم من الوعيد الكبير الذي توعد به الشرع قاتل المستأمن بغير حق وعده من الكبائر إلا أنه لا يجوز بحالٍ قتل القاتل لورود النص النبوي الصريح الصحيح بذلك فقال عليه الصلاة والسلام : “ألا لا يُقتل مؤمنٌ بكافرٍ ولا ذو عهد في عهده” رواه أحمد.
ثالثاً: نؤكد على أن هذه الفعلة جاءت بشكل فردي ولا تعبر عن منهج أي من السلفيين الجهاديين وسلوكنا على الأرض خيرُ دليل على ذلك وكذا تصريحاتنا، بالإضافة إلى أن الجماعات المتهمة سارعت بنفي مسؤوليتها، والمسلم عدلٌ وقوله عن نفسه مقدم على قول غيره عليه إلا بدليل شرعي وبيِّنة كما قال أهل العلم . 
رابعاً: نرفض كيل الاتهامات الجزافية والمتعمدة من قبل حماس وحكومتها لنا بالرغم من علمهم بالفاعلين وانتماءاتهم السياسية وأن جلهم من أفراد حكومتها؛ وذلك لتشويه صورتنا والتنقص لجهادنا، وندين الحملة المسعورة للاعتقالات التي تقوم بها حماس وأجهزتها للإخوة السلفيين ومداهمة البيوت وترويع الآمنين، فكما أنكم حريصون على أمن المتضامنين فلا تكونوا أقل حرصاً على أمن المسلمين والمجاهدين . 
خامساً : كان الأولى بحماسٍ أن تقوم بحملتها لاعتقال أبناء المتعة الروافض الذين بدأ مدهم ينتشر في غزة وفلسطين قلعة أهل السنة، والذي تتحمل حماس وحلفاؤها مسئولية إدخال هذا الدين المبتدع لفلسطين وبتستر واضح والتي لم يدخلها الرفض طيلة التاريخ الإسلامي، ونتحدى أي واحد أن يثبت اعتقال أي منهم فهم لهم كل الحرية في نشر باطلهم بخلاف الموحدين، هذا ومما حذا بأحد رافضة غزة أن يصرح قبل أيام أن الشيعة منتشرون وأن المرحلة القادمة لا مكان فيها لأهل السنة! ، ألهذا الحد أثمر فيكم الثدي الرافضي؟!! 
سادساً: نؤكد على أن مثل هذه الأفعال جاءت كنتاج متوقع لأفعال حماس ضد الإخوة السلفيين من تعذيب واعتقال ومطاردة، وندعوها لتغليب صوت العقل والحكمة لتجنيب الساحة ما لا تحمد عقباه وقبل أن يضيع صوت الحكمة وسط ضجيج الفعل ورد الفعل وحينها لن نجد نحن ولا أنتم حكيماً نستمع إليه، وكما قيل فإن النار تأتي من مستصغر الشرر، فنسأل الله السلامة .
سابعاً: تناقلت وسائل الإعلام تصريحاً للمدعو “أبو البراء المصري” بصفته قائداً من قيادات السلفية قال فيه إن ثلاثة من الإخوة ينتمون للتوحيد والجهاد، وهذا باطل، ونؤكد من هنا أن المذكور لا نعرفه ولا يوجد شخص من قيادات الجماعات السلفية بهذا الاسم فالإخوة -في الجماعات- جميعاً معروفين لدينا، فهو لا يمثل إلا نفسه، ونؤكد على ضرورة أخذ بيانات الإخوة في الجماعات من مصادرها المعروفة، والحذر من تلك البيانات المشبوهة .
أخيراً: ندعو حماس لتحكيم شرع الله وسنكون لها عوناً وسندا، وإطلاق سراح أسرانا في سجونها وعلى رأسهم الشيخ أبي الوليد ثبته الله، وأن يكفوا أيدهم عن المجاهدين والدعاة وأن يخلوا بيننا وبين يهود.

اللَّهم جنبنا الفتن ما ظهر منها وما بطن
اللَّهم كن مع عبادك المجاهدين
اللَّهم فرج كرب المأسورين

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم 

الحمد لله نحمده ونستعينه ونؤمن به ونتوكل عليه ونشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له وأن محمدا عبده ورسوله أرسله بالهدى ودين الحق ليظهره على الدين كله ولو كره الكافرون، أما بعد :
إن الرسول صلوات الله وسلامه عليه في يوم الأحزاب بعدما هاجم المشركون المدينة ورجعوا خائبين بشر الصحابة أن المشركين لن يعزو المدينة بعد اليوم وأن المسلمين هم من سيغزو (اليوم نغزوهم ولا يغزونا)، نعلم أن الكفار غزوا العالم الإسلامي حلفا واحدا بأسماء متعددة، وخاصة العراق وأفغانستان والصومال، واليوم يتضح أن هذا التحالف قد هزم، وقد أعلنوا أنهم سيخرجون من العراق وأفغانستان، الله سبحانه وتعالى يقول {وَرَدَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِغَيْظِهِمْ لَمْ يَنَالُوا خَيْرًا}، الله عز وجل يصف لنا هنا حال الأحزاب التي هزمت والفشل الذي لحقهم، والإنسحاب الذي أصاب تحالف الكفر اليوم يؤكده انهيار أنظمتهم في العالم الإسلامي.

إن من البشارات التي بشر بها النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أمته ما رواه الإمام أحمد وأبو يعلى والطبراني وابن أبي حاتم عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال (يخرج من عدن أبين اثنا عشر ألفا ينصرون الله ورسوله هم خير من بيني وبينهم)، يخبر البني صلى الله عليه وسلم في هذا الحديث أن 12 ألفا سيخرجون من عدن أبين ينصرون الله والنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم هم خير الناس ما بينه صلى الله عليه وسلم وبينهم، وفي حديث آخر سؤل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم عن مدينتي القسطنطينية ورومية أيهما ستفتح أولا، فأجاب صلى الله عليه وسلم أن مدينة هرقل ستفتح أولا يقصد القسطنطينية، وقد روى هذا الحديث الإمام أحمد وابن أبي شيبة والدارمي، وإن شاء الله ستفتح مدينة روما.

وإذا نظرنا إلى التحالف الذي يقوده العدو ضد الولايات الإسلامية فإن العدو لم يهدأ باله وهو يرى الأمة الإسلامية تلتف حول شريعة الله وتنعم بالأمن والأمان، والحملات التي يشنونها تهدف إلى النقاط التالية:

أولا: أن يعطلوا تطبيق شرع الله في الولايات الإسلامية ويزعزعوا استقرارها.
ثانيا: تهجير المسلمين من الأماكن التي يغزونها.

من أجل هذا لم يتخلف المسلمون عن مواجهة العدو الذي يستهدف أهلهم ودينهم، وعلى المسلمين خاصة الذين يعيشون في ولايات قيذو وجوبا وباي وبكول وهيران وقلقدود، نقول لهم أنتم خط الدفاع الأول عن الولايات الإسلامية ولا يؤتين الإسلام من قبلكم تسابقوا في الخير والجهاد.

جدير بالذكر الدور الذي قام به أهل مقديشو فقد قدموا أنفسهم وأموالهم للجهاد في سبيل الله، وصبرهم يسحق أن يكون مثالا لكل المسلمين، وإن شاء الله ستكون أميصوم آخر تحالف يغزو مقديشو.

ومؤامرة الكفار اليوم خلصت إلى تقسيم البلاد إلى أقاليم يقودها من ربوهم خلال العشرين عاما الماضية، وهؤلاء يشبهوننا في أجسادهم ويتبعون الكفار في مبادئهم ودينهم.

يجب أخذ العبرة والعظة من تعامل الكفار السيء مع عملائهم بعد انتهاء مهمتهم {كَمَثَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِذْ قَالَ لِلْإِنْسَانِ اكْفُرْ فَلَمَّا كَفَرَ قَالَ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِنْكَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ اللَّهَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ}، ضرب الله مثلا بشياطين الإنس والجن عندما يقودون الإنسان إلى الكفر ثم يتبرؤون منه بعد ذلك.

أخيرا أقول للمجاهدين خذوا في حسابكم أن الجهاد الذي أنتم فيه هو ذروة سنام الإسلام، الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول (فإن مقام أحدكم في سبيل الله أفضل من صلاته في بيته سبعين عاما ألا تحبون أن يغفر الله لكم ويدخلكم الجنة أغزو في سبيل الله من قاتل في سبيل الله فواق ناقة وجبت له الجنة) رواه الترمذي.

ربنا أعنا ولا تعن علينا، وانصرنا ولا تنصر علينا، وامكر لنا ولا تمكر علينا، واهدنا ويسر الهدى لنا، وانصرنا على من بغى علينا، ربنا اجعلنا لك شكارين، لك ذكارين، لك رهابين، لك مطواعين، إليك مخبتين أواهين منيبين، ربنا تقبل توبتنا، واغسل حوبتنا، وأجب دعوتنا، وثبت حجتنا، واهد قلوبنا، وسدد ألسنتنا، واسلل سخيمة قلوبنا.

وآخر دعوانا أن الحمد لله رب العالمين

English translation of Abū Ḥasan al-Ḥaḍramī's “The Scholars of Evil” from Issue #14 of al-Qā’idah in the Arabian Peninsula’s Ṣadā al-Malāḥim Magazine

NOTE: You can read all of issue fourteen of Ṣadā al-Malāḥim here. There are only two types of scholars and no other: Scholars of the Hereafter and scholars of Evil. He who is not one of the scholars of the Hereafter is among the scholars of wickedness, enamored of the vanities of this world and heedless of the Hereafter and its felicities. The scholar of evil: He is the scholar who conceals the truth and cloaks it in falsehood. He dissuades (people) from the Deen of Allâh. If he is included in the name of scholar at all, then it is not permissible to call him by the appellation of ‘Alim unless it is said that he is a scholar of wickedness or misguided. They are scholars in appearance, but Allâh does not render their knowledge of any benefit to them, because they sought knowledge in order to obtain worldly possessions, dine with the wealthy, and associate with kings and the sons of kings. They ascribe themselves to the party of the scholars, but their morality is the morality of the people of ignorance and harshness. They tempt the infatuated. Their tongue is the tongue of a scholar and their deeds are the deeds of the foolhardy. Abu ‘Umar al-Saif, may Allâh accept him, said: “There is no significance in memorizing texts or studying knowledge, rather the important thing for knowledge to be beneficial is purity and piety of the one receiving the knowledge. If the heart is pure, then knowledge is beneficial and, Allâh permitting, Muslims will benefit from this knowledge.  “But if the heart receiving this knowledge is hypocritical or sick then its owner will perforce suppress the truth, slander Allâh with lies and dissuade (people) from the cause of Allâh. His words and fatwas become a cover for lackey governments to cover their crimes against Islam and the Muslims.”  Ibn Qayyim, may Allâh have mercy on him, said: All among the people of knowledge who prefer and desire the world must undoubtedly speak untruths about Allâh in their fatwas and judgments , in their decisions and edicts. Because the judgments of the Lord Almighty often are at odds with the desires of the people, especially those in power. Those who follow their longings cannot attain their desires except by often violating and repudiating the truth. The scholar or the ruler who loves power and follows his desires will not achieve either except by resisting the truth that opposes him, especially if a shubhah (doubtful area) was established for him. Theshubhah and the desire will be in agreement and passion will be stirred up. What is proper will be hidden and the face of truth will be obliterated. If the truth is obvious and there is no hiding it and no ambiguity about it, he purposely violates it, saying: “I have a way out through repentance.” About them and those like them, the Almighty said, {Then, there has succeeded them a posterity who have given up As-Salât (the prayers) [ie. made their Salât (prayers) to be lost, either by not offering them or by not offering them perfectly or by not offering them in their proper fixed times] and have followed lusts…} [Sûrah19. Maryam (Mary) Ayât. 59] Of them the Almighty also said, {Then after them succeeded an (evil) generation which inherited the Book, but they chose (for themselves) the goods of this low life (evil pleasures of this world) saying (as an excuse): “(Everything) will be forgiven us.” And if (again) the offer of the like (evil pleasures of this world) came their way, they would (again) seize them (would commit those sins). Was not the covenant of the Book taken from them that they would not say about Allâh anything but the truth? And they have studied what is in it (the Book). And the home of the hereafter is better for those who are Al-Muttaqûn (the pious, righteous etc.) Will not you then understand?} [Sûrah 7. Al-‘A`rāf (The Heights or The Wall with Elevations) Ayât. 169]. The Almighty explains that they took the lowliest goal although they knew this was forbidden to them, while saying “this will be forgiven us”. When they were given another chance (to pursue this desire) they took it, because they were insistent upon that and this prompted them to speak falsehoods of Allâh. So they said “this is His judgment, His law and His religion”, although they knew that His judgment, His law and His religion were contrary to that. Or did they not know this was His judgment, His law and His religion? Sometimes they spoke against Allâh without knowing and sometimes they spoke against him words they knew were false. Those undoubtedly innovate in religion while conducting immoral acts and these two things combine within them. Following desires makes the eyes of the heart blind, so that they do not distinguish between tradition and innovation, or they turn matters upside down so that they see tradition as innovation and innovation as tradition. This is the plague of the scholars, when they prefer this world and pursue power and desires. The verses apply to them, {And recite (O Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) to them the story of him to whom We gave Our Ayât (proof, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), but he threw them away; so Shaitân (Satan) followed him up, and he became of those who went astray. And had We willed, We would surely have elevated him therewith, but he clung to the earth and followed his own vain desire. So his parable is the parable of a dog: if you drive him away, he lolls his tongue out, or if you leave him alone, he (still) lolls his tongue out.} [Sûrah7. Al-‘A`rāf (The Heights or The Wall with Elevations) Ayât.175-176]
Contemplate the censure (of the scholar) contained in these verses, for the following reasons:

First: 
He strayed after (acquiring) knowledge, and chose infidelity purposely and not out of ignorance. 
Second:
 He has irreversibly separated himself from belief, for he has abandoned Allâh’s Signs, like a snake shedding its skin. If anything of it had remained with him, he would not have abandoned it.
Third:
 Satan pursued him, caught him, possessed and ravished him. On this He said, {Shaitân (Satan) followed him up}. He did not just say “followed him”. The meaning is followed him up, pursued and caught him. And this is more serious is word and meaning than “followed him”.
Fourth:
 He went astray after receiving guidance. And the verb “go astray” means erring in knowledge and intention, specifically pertaining to corruption in intention and deed. Likewise, “erring” means corruption of knowledge and belief. If one is mentioned alone it implies the other but if they are mentioned together then the difference is as mentioned above.
Fifth:
 The Almighty did not wish to elevate (such a scholar) with his knowledge, so it was the cause of his destruction. Because he was not elevated by it, it became a curse to him. If he had not become a scholar, it would have been better and less a punishment for him.
Sixth:
 The Almighty exposed the vileness of (the scholar’s) intentions and that he has chosen lowliness over honor.
Seventh:
 His choice of lowliness was not intentional or cheerfully expected, but he was disposed towards the earth and wholly inclined to what is there. And “disposed” (means) a persistent clinging. As if it is said: he persisted in clinging to the earth. From here it is said: So-and-so was inclined to such a place, if he clung to abiding there. He expressed his inclination to the world through his disposition towards the earth. Because the world is the earth and what pleasure and adornment may be derived from it.
Eighth:
 He spurned (Divine) guidance and followed his desires. Thus he placed his whims before him as a leader, was guided by them and followed them.
Ninth:
 He is likened to dogs which are the basest of animals in desire, of the meanest spirit, the stingiest; most rabid. He is thus named a dog.
Tenth:
 His panting after the world, his impatience for it, anxiety about losing it and eagerness to obtain it is like the panting of a dog who pants whether left along or is driven away. If he is left alone, he pants after the earth. If he is lectured or admonished, he is still like that. His panting is no different from the panting of a dog. Ibn Qutaybah said: “Everything pants sometimes, whether from fatigue or thirst, except for the dog which always pants, whether fatigued or resting, hydrated or thirsty. Allâh has afflicted him like the infidel and said: If you advised him, he strayed. If you leave him, he strayed. If you leave him, he strayed like a dog. If you kick him out, he pants like a dog, if you leave him be, he pants like a dog. This example does not apply to all dogs, just the panting dog, which is the basest and vilest of creatures. This is like the scholar who prefers this world over the Hereafter”. End abridged quote. Imam al-Zahabi[1], explaining the state of one of the scholars of wickedness who supported the ‘Ubaydi state, whose situation is similar to that of contemporary rulers, said: The heretic scholar, Qadi of the ‘Ubaydi state Abu Hunaifa, al-Nu’man bin Muhammad bin Mansour al-Maghrebi, was a Maliki who reverted to the school of al-Batiniyah. He compiled his book ‘Uss al-Dawah’ and cast Religion behind him. He wrote about (human) virtues and flaws. He refuted the Imams of Religion and abandoned Islam. To hell with him! He dissembled for the state and then even agreed with them. He was a partisan of al-Mu’iz Abu Tamim, the founder of Cairo. He was influential in the sciences, jurisprudence and disputation and devoted to research. But his knowledge was a curse to him in the end. He wrote books, refuting Abu Hunaifa in jurisprudence, as well as Malik and Shafa’i. He stood up for the juristic creed of the Ahl al-Bayt, and wrote a book about the differences of the scholars. He was revered and respected. Among his sons were judges and eminent men.”  His knowledge and research did not benefit him when he stood in the rank of the enemies of Shari’ah. Rather his knowledge was a curse to him.
The disposition of a scholar as a scholar of evil is due to the following characteristics:

First: 
He does not act in accordance with his knowledge. If you add to that his work that is contrary to his knowledge, he becomes a source of great dissension and imminent evil because the masses will imitate the evil.
Second:
 Concealment of what Allâh made a covenant to reveal. The Almighty said, {(And remember) when Allâh took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) to make it (the news of the coming of Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam and the religious knowledge) known and clear to mankind, and not hide it, but they threw it away behind their backs, and purchased with it some miserable gain! And indeed worst is that which they bought.} [Sûrah3. Al-‘Imran (The Family of ImranAyât.187]. There are other verses in this vein. Concealment takes the form of weakening an authentic Hadith and to eliminate advancing (an argument) by it. Concealment may also take the form of issuing fatwas based on deviant opinions or minority opinions on an issue without reference to the majority opinion among scholars. Concealment may also take the form of misquoting the words from one scholar, and this is a wide category, which includes advancing an argument in general while concealing its particulars. Or vindicating the absolutes while concealing what motivates it and advancing an argument wholesale while concealing what it reveals.
Third: 
Twisting the Shari’ah texts. The Almighty said, {…There are some who displace words from (their) right places…} [Sûrah 4. An-Nisa’ (The Woman) Ayât. 46]. This is what happens most: The misleading (scholar) must cite legal evidence to spread his words among the people. Therefore his false words are called “shubhah” because they resemble truth by the evidence they cite. The perversion may be a perversion of evidence from its meaning through an unjustified and deviant interpretation or a corrupted extraction from it or the like. This is cloaking falsehood with truth, as mentioned in the words of the Almighty, {And mix not truth with falsehood, nor conceal the truth [i.e. Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam is Allâh’s Messenger and his qualities are written in your Scriptures, the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] while you know (the truth).} [Al-Baqarah: 24].
Fourth: 
Playing the hypocrite with the sultans and entering into association with them by playing with words for the sake of satisfying them. This is done by being proficient in listing specious arguments (shubahat), slips of the tongue and errors. They even slander against Allâh and His Messenger sallallahu alaihi wa sallam – We beseech Allâh for well being and safety (from them)! Huzayfah, may Allâh be pleased with him, said: Keep away from positions of temptation”. It was asked, “What are they?” He said, “The gates of princes. One of you may associate with a prince, tell lies in the guise of truth or flatter him (with dispositions) that are not found in him. Said bin Yaqub said, “Ahmad bin Hanbal wrote to me: In the name of Allâh, the Compassionate, the Merciful. From Ahmed bin Hanbal to Said bin Yaqub, thereafter: Worldly pleasures are a disease, power is a disease and the scholar is a doctor. If you see a physician bringing upon himself a disease, beware of him. As for the scholars of wickedness today, look for them in the doorways of the sultans and the panel discussions for fighting terrorism and jihad on the satellite networks and the halls of the tyrants! These are the scholars of wickedness, one of whom issued a ruling after the occupation of Iraq in 2003 that the fighting between Mujahideen and the Americans wasfitnah and that the killer and the slain will both be in hell-fire!! Among them is one – whom Allâh led astray despite his learning – who said that the Allawi government is a legal government and must be obeyed. When he was asked by a questioner, “But America is the one that appointed it and imposed it”, he answered, “Even if the infidels appoint a leader for a country of Muslims, he is the legal leader and must be obeyed.” Additionally, there are fatwas which legalize usurious interests by banks, interfaith dialogue and so forth. To Allâh we appeal! Like Ibn Ba’ura whose ~ example is given in the Quran He sought the dunya and collected his destruction ~ he abandoned the Signs and faith His is a like a dog always panting ~ if attacked or left alone These are the qualities of a scholar of wickedness ~ grasping and eager for ephemeral vanities How many scholars of our age ~ are like the lowly and disgraceful Bal’am
