New statement from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan's Qārī' Yusef Aḥmadī: "Remarks Regarding Attack on Courthouse in Farah"

That a courthouse is considered the standard for justice and equity as well as upholder of law and its orders in a Muslim society, therefore it is necessary, in respect of status of real courthouses, that we declare our position regarding courthouses of the Kabul administration:
On Wednesday, a well-trained group of Islamic Emirate carried out a thunderous strike in Farah provincial capital on multiple enemy complexes, key targets amongst which were the so-called provincial high court and military court. This planned attack was executed on the same day as a gathering was called in order to put to trial a few Mujahideen on charges of defending their religion and homeland. With this operation, the Islamic Emirate sent a clear message to the Kabul administration, its courts as well as its Judges and prosecutors that from now on, the valiant Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate, in revenge of our oppressed prisoners, will target those Judges and prosecutors who deliberately try to make the cases of Mujahideen weighty.  The real defenders of Islam and the nation (Mujahideen) who have sacrificed everything to oppose the invaders are tortured, kept in prisons for years on end and even mercilessly given the death penalty are all due to these cowardly, Kufr and occupation loving departments and personnel. These actions are carried out by these departments despite the many repeated warnings by Mujahideen. These so called Judges deliberately change the cases of Mujahideen from political to criminal, order heavy penalties for these pure Mujahideen and this process keeps ongoing, henceforth, the reaction of Mujahideen towards them will be serious and they will encounter all necessary and similar counter actions. The Islamic Emirate, from today onwards, will keep a close watch over courthouses, all its personnel and all those who try to harm Mujahideen and will deal with them the same as the Judges and prosecutors of Farah while those who are faithful towards Islam and the nation and lend a helping hand to Mujahideen will be treated with high regard, Allah willing.

New statement from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan's Qārī' Yusef Aḥmadī: "Reaction Regarding American Accusations Against the Leader of Helmand Province"

America pronounced that they have put restrictions on the main leader of Helmand province, the respected Mullah Muhammad Na’eem, and also labeled him a ‘drug kingpin’. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan categorically rejects these accusations of the defeated enemy and strongly condemns these restrictions. No appointed leader of the Islamic Emirate has ever had a hand in the trade and smuggling of narcotics. Since the enemy in facing utter defeat and disappointment, it is utilizing last gasp efforts through which it sometimes blacklists a respected Jihadi personality and a member of Leadership Council (Mawlawi Haqqani) in the east of the country and sometimes it levels such accusations and prohibitions on Mujahideen in the south. Such designations do not concern Mujahideen in the least be they in any part of the country and neither does it have any effect on them however it is extremely humiliating and shameful for America to be stooping so low by reaching out to such ignominious actions. Such designations cannot affect any of our Mujahideen since none conduct commercial transactions and trade with America therefore these restrictions on the leaders and individuals of Islamic Emirate will only be empty announcements just as such destitute steps did not benefit America before. Instead of wasting time on such futile efforts, America should focus on the primary source of the problem and immediately withdraw all its demoralized troops from Afghanistan. New statement from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan's Qārī' Yusef Aḥmadī: "Remarks Regarding the Incident In Helmand’s Roshanabad Desert"

Shawwal 09, 1433 A.H, Tuesday, August 28, 2012

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

A secret music party was organized inside a remote house close to wells in the desert between Roshanabad and Shahkarez areas of Musa Kala district, Helmand province because no one can dare do such a vile thing openly. Around 20 corrupt individuals participated in this event and boys dressed in women clothing were forced to dance. According to information gathered, the said group turned their guns on each other and killed each other at around midnight after getting heavily drunk, becoming both the killers and the killed. The government spokesman of Helmand province promptly and brazenly blamed Mujahideen for this infamous incident which Karzai and others blindly accepted. We once again call on all media outlets to refrain from attributing such reports to the Mujahideen.

New statement from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan's Qārī' Yusef Aḥmadī: "Reaction Regarding Yesterday’s Savagery in Uruzgan Province"

With green light from foreign forces and in continuation of its terrorism and criminal activity, the stooge regime’s Local Police indiscriminately shot and martyred more than 17 innocent and defenseless villagers yesterday from Matakzo and Saakaano areas of Shali Nawa region, Khas Uruzgan district.
Accounts collected from witnesses’ state: At the order of a barbaric notorious commander, Shuja’i, Local Police (Arbaki) forced people out of their homes in the mentioned areas and then mercilessly martyred them. Witnesses say that the Arbaki’s also arrested and took away several other villagers and their fate is not yet known, adding that the homes of villagers were looted in the process, their valuables, jewelry, cash and wrist watches stolen and 8 of their motorbikes burnt down.
Locals from the area say that the notorious Local Police commander (Shuja’i) carries out such crimes under the direction and protection of foreign forces. The said person has previously martyred and tortured innocent people on several occasions due to personal prejudice. He is personally being backed and armed with all types of new weaponry by the foreign forces.
It should be stated that at the hands of the stooge Karzai administration’s barbaric beasts (Local Police), innocent and defenseless villagers have been facing a volley of crimes intentionally and in broad daylight however the activists of so-called Human Rights and social justice have remained mum. No side has raised its voice for these oppressed martyrs and neither have they condemned this savagery perpetrated by Karzia’s beasts.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan strongly condemns such oppression and savagery of the Arbaki’s (Local Police). While sympathizing and showing its Islamic brotherhood with the victims of this inhumane incident, it reassures their families and relatives that with the help of Allah Almighty, it shall avenge the blood of every single martyr and shall quickly bring the invaders and their hirelings to justice, Allah willing.

New press release from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan's Qārī' Yusef Aḥmadī: "Regarding Today’s High-Profile Attacks"

That even though the real enemy of Islam and our country (America), besides continuing its ill-fated occupation, recently set fire to the sacred book of all the Muslims, the holy Quran however it still did not satisfy their barbaric desires. Then it carried out a pre-planned atrocity in Panjwaee district’s Zangawat area (Kandahar) where it brutally martyred seventeen innocent civilians including several children, women and old men and in the process unveiled its actual savage colors to the entire world.
Therefore the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, as the real representatives of its Muslim nation, solemnly pledged that it shall take revenge from the perpetrators of the ten year occupation as well as of these clear and unforgivable crimes and in doing so shall demonstrate to its people that it is in fact the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate who are the true protectors of their honor, sanctities and freedom. So in order to implement its promise, it carried out the following successful operations today (Monday – 03/05/1433 | 26/03/2012) which caused the enemy severe human and material losses:
Today at around 02:00 pm in Uruzgan province’s Chora district, a martyrdom attack was carried out by Abdur Rafi’ on the invaders who had just finished having lunch at the home of a government official. According to received information, 18 American invaders were killed including a high ranking commander while several others were wounded.
Similarly, an attack was carried out by a Mujahid who had infiltrated the Afghan army against foreign troops at the gate of Lashkargah PRT at 02:00 pm from which 2 invaders were killed and several others wounded whereas the Mujahid also embraced martyrdom.
Meanwhile at around midnight, a US Chinook helicopter was shot down with rocket fire between Marmoz and Sheikh Ali Karez areas of Nawzad district as a result all 30 invaders onboard were killed.
Since all of the said attacks were revenge operations against the enemy, we therefore call on our whole nation to stand next to their Mujahideen brothers, pray for their success and to not withhold lending any type of assistance in the way of avenging our innocent martyrs. On the other hand, we call on all the security apparatus of the Kabul administration, as part of their Afghan honor and pride if nothing else, to detest from aiding the occupiers or to target the foreign troops from close range or at least to not become an obstacle for the Mujahideen in reaching their intended target (American forces) in order to cool the hearts of its oppressed nation and take revenge from them for violating our sanctities and for the heartrending Zangawat incident.
We once again pledge that we shall not let the foreign invaders rest in peace in any part of the country and shall spill their blood until they are forced to disgracefully leave and until they repay a hefty price for the killing and persecution of our nation.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan's Qārī' Yusef Aḥmadī Interview with ash-Sharq al-Awsaṭ pan-Arab Daily

We will target US embassy and military headquarters in future
Thursday 23 February 2012

[Asharq Al-Awsat] What is your opinion about the reports that Washington has agreed to the proposal to allow the Afghan Taliban to open a political office in Qatar? The British press is reporting that this represents a critical step on the road to reconciliation with the Taliban, more than a decade after the9/11 attacks?
[Ahmadi] Yes, this is true…after the US and its allies failed to militarily control the “Islamic Emirate” [the Taliban refers to itself as the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan], it has been forced to deal with us, and this is by opening the door to direct dialogue. The Islamic Emirate will play its role following the opening of this office, which will serve the jihadist interests, guarantee the end of occupation and bring security to Afghanistan.
[Asharq Al-Awsat] What are the Taliban’s major conditions for entering negotiations?
[Ahmadi] Our conditions during the negotiations will be an end to occupation and for the US to leave the affairs of Afghanistan to the Afghan people.
[Asharq Al-Awsat] Do you think the Arab Spring will reach Afghanistan?
[Ahmadi] There can be no doubt that the Afghan resistance against the occupiers during the past century, and the ongoing efforts of the Afghan people against US occupation and its NATO allies, have inspired the resistance of the vulnerable people in the world and prompted them to revolt against regimes that are ruling them against their will. We must therefore say that the “resistance spring” against the occupiers began in Afghanistan and ended, by the grace of God, with the autumn of US hegemony and the collapse of its authoritarian regimes in the Arab world.
[Asharq Al-Awsat] Does the Taliban intend to open other political offices in Saudi Arabia, Libya, Turkey, Egypt, and elsewhere, as is being claimed by some?
[Ahmadi] After 10 years of jihad and steadfastness on the part of the Afghan people against the arrogant occupiers, the entire world is aware of the strength of the Afghan jihad and has accepted the reality of the situation in the Afghan arena. This has caused many countries in the world to desire contact with the Islamic Emirate and the political office of the Islamic Emirate. The Islamic Emirate will welcome the opening of its political offices in these countries and others, if this is approved.
[Asharq Al-Awsat] What is your assessment of what is being repeated by the American side in Afghanistan, namely that they are ready to negotiate and that there is a reconciliation strategy in place?
[Ahmadi] The US side is prepared to negotiate with the Islamic Emirate after it did everything in its power to forcibly eliminate our jihadist power; however it failed to achieve anything tangible in this regard. The Islamic Emirate told the Americans ten years ago that the ideal solution to all problems was peaceful negotiations without depending on the use of force. The Americans now being prepared to negotiate represents recognition of the strength of the Islamic Emirate and the legitimacy of the Afghan people’s jihad. They should have put forward this initiative before thousands of their soldiers were killed and injured, as well as losing billions of dollars in Afghanistan.
[Asharq Al-Awsat] The US Ambassador to Afghanistan, Ryan Crocker, previously informed Asharq Al-Awsat that Washington has spent over $20 billion in civilian assistance to the Afghan people since 2001, which has resulted in many tangible achievements on the ground, including seven million Afghan children in primary and secondary education, and statistics indicate that 37 percent of Afghan students are girls. However during the Taliban era, girls were prohibited from education. Do you have any comment on this?
[Ahmadi] Our comment is: compare the achievements of the Americans [in Afghanistan] with the negative results of the US occupation which have resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Afghans, including women and children, as well the heavy destruction caused to the Afghan infrastructure. In his statements, the US ambassador must make reference to the large thefts that have taken place in front of his eyes as a result of the rife corruption that is hanging over the people [of Afghanistan].
The US ambassador claims that $20 billion has been spent on infrastructure in Afghanistan, however he is ignoring the rampant corruption that is present in government institutions under the auspices of the US embassy.
We ask the ambassador, where has this huge amount of money been spent [in Afghanistan], in light of the fact that 27 Afghan children died in a refugee camp in the heart of the Afghan capital Kabul – which is news that the international media is ignoring – only a few kilometers away from the US embassy? These deaths were due to the lack of adequate housing [inKabul]…therefore these children were forced to live in the refugee camp and endure terrible weather conditions including snow and bitter cold.
When the US ambassador is listing the alleged achievements [of the Americans],he must mentions the criminal acts carried out by American soldiers recently against the Afghan people, from desecrating the corpses of the slain to committing sexual assaults against children to utilizing fighter jets to bomb and kill innocent people.
[Asharq Al-Awsat] If the Taliban returns to rule in Afghanistan, do you have social and economic plans in place to raise the standard of living in the country? How will you engage with the outside world?
[Ahmadi] The policy of the Islamic Emirate with regards to creating economic and development plans and projects to raise the standard of living of the Afghan people and its future dealings with the outside world have been clearly made in the official statements of the Islamic Emirate which have been issued from the office of the Commander of the Faithful [Mullah Omar], and anybody who wants to know this need only refer to these statements.
[Asharq Al-Awsat] What is the objective of Taliban operations that have taken place in the heart of Kabul in broad daylight, for example, the latest attack on the diplomatic district? Is the goal to expose the inability of the Karzai government to maintain security?
[Ahmadi] This will not be the last time that the US embassy and the military headquarters of foreign troops will be targeted; we will attack them in the future as well, in addition to using other tactics. The objective of this is to show the power of the mujahedeen and their military presence in the heart of the Afghan capital Kabul, and invalidate the claims of the Americans that they have pushed out the mujahedeen from some areas.
[Asharq Al-Awsat] It has been reported in some western media that Mullah Mohammed Tayyib Agha, the Afghan mediator in the peace talks, fled Germany –where he was in the process of negotiating a peace settlement – after his name was revealed in the press. Is this true?
[Ahmadi] Escape is not a habit of the mujahedeen, brother Mohammed Tayyib Agha did not flee, rather he is carrying out his effective and active role with regards to the policies of the Islamic Emirate, and this is something that is confirmed by the western press itself.
[Asharq Al-Awsat] In your own view, to what extent does NATO bombardment inAfghanistan result in civilian causalities?
[Ahmadi] To a very great extent indeed, and far greater than what is revealed by the international media.
[Asharq Al-Awsat] What are the Taliban sources of funding? Does the Taliban enjoy Arab and Gulf support in this regard?
[Ahmadi] The most important source of funding for the mujahedeen is the Afghan people themselves; the Afghan people are funding and assisting the mujahedeen, financially and materially. We must also not forget the assistance provided by our brothers in the Islamic world, and their standing with us against American imperialism.
[Asharq Al-Awsat] Is it true, as US officials claim, that the Taliban is dependent upon opium-production to fund its operations?
[Ahmadi] Do not believe everything the Americans say, for they say that they have eliminated the Taliban and removed them from the areas that they control…if you believed such claims then we do not have anywhere to sit down, let alone harvest opium.
We have repeatedly stated, and I will say this once again here, that jihad is a legitimate obligation and we have never funded this with drugs, nor do we intend to do so in the future. It is the explicit policy of the Islamic Emirate to eradicate drugs [from Afghanistan].
[Asharq Al-Awsat] US forces have claimed, on more than one occasion, that the Taliban receives support from Iran, in the form of technology, improvised explosive devices [IEDs], etc. Is this true?
[Ahmadi] Let me tell the Americans that if foreign assistance was effective on the Afghan battlefield then you [the Americans] would have been victorious, because you receive military assistance from more than 47 foreign states.
Yes, we acknowledge that we have made developments, with the grace of God, in the making of IEDs that have defeated the Americans and their allies, and we will further develop this, God willing.
[Asharq Al-Awsat] Can you tell us how many fighters the Taliban has? What is your view of the Taliban members who have put down their arms and joined reconciliation programs?
[Ahmadi] The number of fighters that the Islamic Emirate possesses is the entire Afghan people, not including Karzai and the number of ministers in his government, in addition to some of his [Karzai’s] mercenary officials. As for the reconciliation program, and the announcements they make

New statement from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan's Qārī' Yusef Aḥmadī: "Remarks Regarding the Supposed Surrender of 50 Mujāhidīn"

On Tuesday the 20th of December 2011, the media once again reported the re-integration of 50 Taliban fighters with the Kabul regime in Panjwai district of Kandahar province through the mouthpiece of the stooge officials under the theatrical
process of peace and reconciliation. The head of this group who introduced himself as Haji Mu’alim to the press baselessly claimed that his men were active in Kandahar city, Panjwai and Maiwand districts.
We must say regarding this fallacious claim that it is nothing more then a part of the failed propaganda which is regularly disseminated by the moral lacking enemy which we must categorically repudiate. The person (Haji Mu’alim) who ties himself to the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate is an absolute fraud. According to our information, there is no one associated by this name in the ranks of Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate. It can be assumed that this unknown person has made this claim and utilized the name of Islamic Emirate for the purposes of financial incentives and power grabbing. It can also be considered the handy work and manifesto of the stooge administration which is being pushed so it can conceal its deteriorating condition and depict as if the Mujahideen have been weakened and have lost the will to put up resistance against the enemy.
Before this self-made melodrama, a person by the name of Noor-ul-Aziz was also paraded in front of the media four months earlier who was supposedly associated with Mujahideen and had surrendered with 50 of his men to the Karzai regime. After investigating the matter, it was irrefutably proven that no such person was ever present in the ranks of the Mujahideen.
The invader enemy and its hirelings who are facing defeats and failures on a daily basis have lost all abilities to confront the head on attacks and bombings of Mujahideen and are trying to create rifts and doubts amongst the Mujahideen by resorting such fabricated propaganda and failed strategies.
We strongly reject such claims of the enemy and once again call on our Mujahideen and Mujahid nation to be heedful of the plots of the deceitful enemy and to never trust such baseless claims.

New from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: "Qārī' Yusef Aḥmadī Interview with Afghan Islamic (News) Agency"

Q.1. Two years ago the foreign forces gained some areas from Taliban in Kandahar and Helmand provinces. What is the reason that the Taliban are not able to regain those areas? Ans. If you observe the situation in Helmand and Kandahar closely, you will find that the foreigners have set up their bases only in the central areas of these districts and cannot even move 100 meters away from these centers. In most of these areas the logistics are supplied by air. Thus we can say that they have made no progress in these areas. On the other side you know that in the present partisan or guerrilla war the important thing is to perturb the enemy and to inflict casualties on them and we have done it quite successfully in other parts of the country. You know that in the ‘Badr’ operation this year we have carried out successful combine attacks in the centers and districts of Kandahar and Helmand provinces. All this testify our force and active presence in the region. In Kandahar province some of the regions are occupied by the enemy in a way that they have leveled the houses and the orchards to the ground and human life is made impossible there. Naturally Taliban are also not found there. But in no case can we call it triumph for the enemy. Q.2. In Kandahar and Helmand, apart from the sporadic attacks, Taliban are quite weak in Panjwai, Zeri, Arghandab, and some other parts of Kandahar province. What is the reason for this in your opinion? Ans. As far as we know in the above mentioned areas the patrols of the enemy have decreased. So the reaction has also come down comparatively. Secondly in the districts of these provinces, attacks are carried on the daily basis in which tens of internal and external soldiers are killed and heavy losses are inflicted on them which are shared with the media including your one. Q.3. NATO alliance says that Taliban are confined to some areas in the Southern provinces (e.g. Helmand and Kandahar); if it is true, what is the reason for it? Ans. The invaders always make these kinds of claims, which we strongly deny. If they are honest in their claim then why cannot they remove Mujahideen from the remaining ‘confined’ areas? It is clear that their claims of progress are false. Another point is the absence of free international media in southern areas of the country to observe our activities and report it accurately. A few reporters are there but they are being threatened by the internal and external secret services not to report the incidents accurately. Some of the news agencies are even hired to show each and everything intact. The invaders want to show their public that the last year operations have yielded positive results, which is in total contradiction to the reality. Q.4. Some military observers say that Taliban’s influence is weak in the region as compared to the past; what are the reasons behind it? Ans. I do not agree with this opinion of the stated observers. If we accept that in some areas the presence of Mujahideen is less, the reason is not the lack of influence but when the enemy increased its attacks in these areas, under planned military tactics we also increased our attacks in other parts. When we notice that public and Mujahideen are both under pressure, simultaneously we open new fronts in other villages and districts. In the same way if one zone is under pressure, we have increased our activities in other zones. Even the enemy admits to this fact. Overall our operations have actually increased instead of decreasing. For example in the year 1431 A.H. in 12 months inside Kandahar, 1078 attacks took place against the enemy. But in the year 1432 A.H. which ended recently, 1588 attacks were carried out, which outnumber the last year by 510. Secondly most of the  military observers analyze the situation partially. They always show their analysis through the western media which is always far away from the ground realities. The actual situation on the ground is something much different than their one-sided and biased analysis. We have entered to a new phase in the war where we have been able to inflict heavy losses over the enemy and have significantly reduced our own . Q.5. Do you have any program to recapture the districts of Panjwai, Zeri, Arghandab and some other areas in Kandahar and Helmand provinces. Ans. In the aforementioned areas only the centers of Panjwai, Zeri, Arghandab districts are under their control. They live only in their barracks which are heavily guarded by sand bags or concrete walls. The enemy has no control outside the centers of the districts. The disputes among the masses are settled by the concerning authorities of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. So we can say that even now, the support of the people and the control of the above mentioned areas is with the Mujahideen. Our next target is obviously to control the centers of these districts considering the military situation. We have our planning for each and every part of the country. Q.6. What are the reasons that you have not entered the political process from the military one? Ans. We have been insisting on a political solution for every minor or major issue instead of force and arrogance. The present situation of war has been imposed upon us. We have been attacked and compelled to pick up arms. By the grace of Allah Almighty, for the last 10 years the enemy has become fully exhausted in the battlefield. As far as political process is concerned, there is a separate commission working for it. Our demands for a political solution have been publicized through the media. We can never tolerate foreign invasion in our country. We want the strict implementation of Islamic rules and regulations. We want Islamic brotherhood and unity among the countrymen. We want cordial relation with the world on the basis of Islamic principles where no one is harmed. But the enemy is extending the occupation and is dreaming for a prolonged subjugation of our country. In these circumstances we are compelled to insist on a military solution rather than political one; because the enemy is not ready to leave our country by political logic and to solve the disputed issues by political negotiations. Q.7. Do you have any comprehensive program or proposals to solve the Afghan problem? Ans. As we have said earlier that we have a full fledged Islamic policy for the solution of Afghan problem. First of all we want the liberation of our country. Secondly we believe in the principle of logic and reason to solve disputed matters. This policy has been clearly declared by the leadership of the Islamic Emirate. Q.8. Now as the ‘Loya Jirga’ (grand council) convened by Hamid Karzai has conditionally approved the military bases for Americans for 10 more years, how long will you fight against the foreigners? Ans. Jihad is a religious obligation upon us. We have no specified time framework for it. When the need for Jihad is ceased, the war will naturally come to an end . It totally depends on the invaders. We will not tire of Jihad because we are fully prepared for it. Training and incitement are going on with full strength and thousands of young men are ready to fight and to sacrifice their lives for the sake of Islam and for the liberation of the country. Q.9. What are the reasons for your  decreased activities in the northern areas especially in Kunduz province? Ans. Our attacks are well planned in the North of the country especially in Kunduz province; but the chances for a decisive attack is less due to the restricted movement of the troops stationed there (mostly non-Americans) who are fed up with this war and consider it a useless and imposed war. But still we are expanding our presence and operations with the changing circumstances in the whole of the North. Q. 10. Overall, do you think the military force of Taliban is weaker or stronger as compared to the past and whether the present military situation is encouraging Taliban or NATO? Ans. In general, the force and influence of Taliban has increased in all areas of Afghanistan because the whole nation has realized that only Mujahideen can liberate the country from the foreign occupation. The resolution of the so called ‘Loya Jirga’ will have a very positive effect on our forthcoming Jihadi modus operandi. The people have realized that the invaders are here for sinister objectives. They want to endanger our religion, prestige and other sanctities at the hands of a few traitors and corrupt agents. They want to keep us as an occupied nation and impose their own systems upon us. I think that the nation will become even more vigilant in the future and will stand shoulder to shoulder with Mujahideen with their full capacity. The level of support and sympathy will rise. Consequently the invaders and their stooges will not have any other option but to face a very disgraceful defeat as the late Soviet Union and their slaves did. And this is never too hard for Allah Almighty. With due respects

New statement from Qārī' Yusef Aḥmadī of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan: "Regarding the False News Published by The Express Tribune"

The Pakistani newspaper ‘The Express Tribune’, citing unknown sources ands proofs, published a false report on Sunday which claimed that Amir ul Mumineen (Mullah Muhammad Umar Mujahid) H.A. has given guidance to the Pakistani Taliban and asked them to start talks with the government and turn their full attention to Afghanistan. This report was all out used as evidence by some western backed news agencies as evidence to spread their propaganda. After our extensive investigations, we found that this report has no truth to it. In accordance with the policy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, we do not interfere in the internal affairs of other countries and neither has such guidance been given to anyone.
We strongly reject such claims and can confidently say that the esteemed Amir ul Mimineen has not sent a letter and neither has he seen face to face with anyone regarding this matter. It is hoped that news agencies will not publish unconfirmed news and reports which are not backed by any credible sources. They should prove that they are honestly working for the benefit of their countries, are observing all journalistic ethics and are not bias towards any side.
