The western news agency Reuters published a report where two supposed high-ranking officials of the Islamic Emirate shared information about negotiations, prisoner release and other topics.
The Islamic Emirate has official channels and spokespersons for clarifying its policy. If there ever arises a need to speak or share views with the media, it shall be through the official spokespersons and addresses.
Classifying unknown individuals as high-ranking officials of Islamic Emirate and quoting them in reports is part of western propaganda that seeks to create uncertainty or spread misinformation about issues.
We want media outlets to operate professionally, contact the official channels of the Islamic Emirate for official policy and stance and desist from publishing unfounded reports and fabrications as official viewpoint of the Islamic Emirate.
Such actions only serve to harm the reputation of these media channels and neither can malicious circles possibly spreading such reports achieve the perceived benefits.
