A number of news outlets published reports from the mouth of enemy claiming that a woman was killed by the order or verdict of Taliban in Daizangi area of Aab Kamari district, Badghis province.
We reject this false and twisted report. The incident has nothing to do with the Mujahideen and the real case is as follows:
The husband of a woman based in Daizangi village of Aab Kamari district, Badghis province, had gone to Iran. The woman ran away from her home with another man so her relatives and the locals agreed to leave the woman with the second man. When the first husband arrived home from Iran, he presented his case to the courts of Islamic Emirate stating that the woman had married the second man without taking a divorce. The provincial court of the Islamic Emirate began investigating the case and in light of verdict of Shariah, separated the woman from her second husband and handed her over to her father’s house until proof of divorce is presented. The case was still under process when two nights earlier, the former husband accompanied by 2 armed men forced their way into the father’s home at night and murdered the woman.
Upon being informed of the incident in the morning, the Mujahideen apprehended the killer and his two accomplices before handing them over to the court.
The Mujahideen have no hand in the murder of the woman and neither was any verdict issued. The enemy wants to take advantage of such personal incidents and use them to turn common minds against the Mujahideen. And unfortunately a number of news outlets and journalists – without taking into account the view of Islamic Emirate – only take the claims of officials of the Kabul administration and publish one-sided reports, and such has occurred repeatedly.
