Unfortunately a number of our countrymen lost their lives, were injured or suffered material losses in various areas of the country due to a powerful earthquake yesterday. Even though the full extent of losses caused by the earthquake are yet unknown however initial information suggests that tens have been killed, hundreds injured and many buildings damaged.
The Islamic Emirate calls on our good willed countrymen and charitable organizations to not hold back in providing shelter, food and medical supplies to the victims of this earthquake. And it similarly orders its Mujahideen in the affected areas to lend their complete help to the victims and facilitate those giving charity to the needy.
The Islamic Emirate shares in the tragedy of all countrymen affected by the earthquake and asks Almighty Allah for Jannat ul Firdaws (highest Paradise) for the killed, immediate recovery for the injured and a blessed substitute, patience and great reward for everyone affected.
The earthquake has also caused losses in the neighboring countries therefore the Islamic Emirate, as part of its religious solidarity, declares its empathy with the affected Muslim brothers and asks Allah Almighty to bestow patience and a great reward on their relatives.
